Not sure what to do with binary in book.

The book is easy: forget the binary look at the months.
Yes, I get the months, but the binary must mean something.

Yes, I found the lighter on the floor in the room where the silver disk is.
There are several candles throughout the building that you can light.
Robert, you are right the book does give the clue for the safe, but it's not binaty code, simply count the I's.
Are there? I checked all rooms but never saw a single candle.
Can you name me one room, so I can see what they look like?

I figured out the book, ignore binary and count the number of 1's. There's 3 pages to make 3 numbers.

Found those too. Think I found about 5 or 6 all together.
Lit them all but nothing much happens.

You have to light all the candles, you haven't found them all yet.

I'm done, once I got the gold key I finished quick.
There were 7 though.
