I finally found my 15th coin in I, in the stream at bottom middle of the screen!!! I would swear on a 100 bibles that it was NOT there the first 20 times I looked!!! LMAO!!!!
Val, I can post where I got 19 out of my 20 coins but I missed marking one down! There were two in Q, R and AE, and I found one in M, P, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, AA and AC.
oh and one in AB too.

If you mean the 4 digit box, @fran...use the first letters of word...and give a # value....D=4....

This was the first Selfdefiant EVER, I had to replay not for writing a WT, but because of that bloody last coin of 20...!
I finally found it bottom right, to distracted the first playing time by the red star...!

Apart from that, I was very pleased about the different game style (like to spend my money like water, LOL), ROFLMAO about the mean dog & pleasantly surprised, that we can combine items!

The map was interesting! I was writing things like "silver key in room above U" because I wasn't sure what that room was yet because it was still invisible!
Why do these guys need so much gold? I think 20 pieces of gold for a blue key was a bit much. I think I'll just keep my gold and go sit beside a pool with a nice umbrella drink! Don't really want to leave anyway! lol!

Selfdefiant-I like that there are a certain number of coins. I had trouble finding the elusive #20 but finally did. Extra coins would ruin that aspect of the game, IMO.
Game should be working, I fixed the map and added a few more coins.

I agree with Reb - that the exact amount of coins was more challenging. Oh well. Great game SD - you can't please everybody! I still love your games! You try so hard to please, and I really appreciate that!!!

Well, I played but must have been succumb by the Christmas virus or something for I had great difficulty even finding the places of boxes, clues etc. Thankfully there was a walkthough or I would've been stuck. So thanks to LaChatonFou and many thanks for this and past games to SD!

SD, I REALLY wish you would put one of those crystal ball type devices in ALL your games, not just the spooky ones. The ability to jump from place to place during the game really saves on the frustration factor of being right next to a room and having to go through 10 moves to get to it because the room you're in is not connected. The map thing is great - please add jumping from room to room in all games next!

Loved the game -- I arrived after additional coins were added, and wound up with three extra. The evolving map was cool, and having a reason for the coins was cool, and the dog was adorable and I want a doughnut now. Thanks, SD!
cute. I like the coins being an intergral part of the game instead of something just to do for extra fun. The map being drawn as we explored was neat.

I know that this game is a bit old now but for once I've not been able to finish it. My problem now is that I can't make the 856 work for the star points - it tells me that nothing happens. Please someone help so that I can put this one to bed!
Tring-a-ling, entering 856 in the box in S works for me. Could it be that you already have the red crystal? If I enter 856 in that box again after taking the crystal, it also tells me that nothing happens.
Thanks Unknown - I DID have the red gem somehow, it was the green one that I needed. What a plank - and it took me 59 minutes 0 seconds, the longest I've ever spent on one of these!
