wow @Shuchun, 2 new ones by Rainbow at once! I got a "Service Unavailable" on the other, so I'll give this one a try.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
got something that looks like a cupcake cup from the bin, and of course the ever present battery.
ReplyDeleteI got a 'dangerous page' warning... I'll find something else to play...
ReplyDeleteservice unavailable..................
ReplyDeleteI wish you guys could get in - I'm going to need help! found a clue under the changing table pad: "97" in a rectangle...
ReplyDeletesorry zoz!
ReplyDeletetrying to get the picture off the wall. I thought maybe the butterflies were a clue, but no luck yet.
ReplyDeleteaha, found a miniscule pink key in the baby bed. Now where to use it?
ReplyDeleteanybody here?
ReplyDeletethey certainly do hide things small here. finally got a clue paper from under the changing table leg. Oh, and I forgot to mention the "82" in a circle. Anyone here yet???
ReplyDeletehey @Mafe, come and help!
ReplyDeletehi zoz. on what part of the baby bed?
ReplyDeleteit's too pixelly (again!).
ReplyDelete@Mafe look on the right near the bottom. It's kind of hidden behind a railing and it's a brighter pink than the pattern on the bed.
ReplyDeleteclue paper has a "53" in a triangle on back. still haven't got the picture down or solved the four digit code.
ReplyDeletefound the circled number, too. tried the two numbers on the chest? but no go.
ReplyDeletethanks..found it.
ReplyDeletetried 97 x 4 (four sides to rectangle) + 82 x1 + 53 x 3, but not working. the clue paper on front looks like a clue for the picture, but nothing is working yet. and I still don't know where the battery goes or what the key is for! I wish it would open the window!
ReplyDeletewhere is note and circle?
ReplyDeletecan't find anything else!
ReplyDelete@sue, look under the baby changing table (on the left of the start scene) and then under the left front leg. it's tiny.
ReplyDeleteseems as though we could at least throw the battery through the window to see what the sign says. Then again, I would just stand on my tiptoes if it were up to me.
gotta go get my dog in...
i was able to move the picture but nothing. it just swayed left and right.
ReplyDeletesue, circle is under the waste can.
ReplyDeletehint for the picture
ReplyDelete- check the battery and make you head right to see it
- click it on R or L of picture mine is LRLRR [differ for every game i suppose.]
lol zoz. bring in the dog. maybe it can help...

ReplyDeleteyay! Shuchun comes to the rescue once again!
ReplyDelete(unfortunately, my dog is too *&(* stupid to come in from the cold at 1 a.m.)
hi shuchun, what do you mean head right? i'm clicking it like crazy. it doesn't move or budge.
ReplyDeletehow nice to have a working flashlight now! thanks @Guru and @Shuchun!
ReplyDelete@Mafe, my clue paper had the plus sign on top and the minus on bottom, so I read my battery by turning my head left. My code was LRRLL
ReplyDeleteCrap, a slider puzzle
ReplyDeletety, well now got diamond number and stuck again with cup, battery and paper
ReplyDeletepop found math paper also in bear
ReplyDeletestuck at colour code.
ReplyDelete@Guru, how to open the box? I've tried various combinations of the colors from the butterflies and inchworm. guess my dog isn't the only stupid one in my family.
ReplyDeleteaha! use telescope on window in start scene!
ReplyDeleteoops, broke the lovely picture...
ReplyDeletegot it combine number seen with telescope with butterfly colours
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the creatures on the wall ;)
ReplyDeletesliders are awful :(
ReplyDeleteOMG I can't stop laughing at what is behind the slider! Put the pink lampshade on his head. And I think he's happy to see me???
ReplyDelete@Shuchun thank you so much for posting this game! A good laugh is priceless.
ReplyDeleteanyone need a hint? Otherwise, I may try the other Rainbow game.
ReplyDeleteOK, checking for almost 10 minutes, so everyone must be out, yay!
ReplyDeletezoz where's the telescope?
ReplyDeleteoooh, telescope... I think it must have been in the chest with the four digit code? either that, or under the baby bed using the flashlight.
ReplyDeletepop...found it! forgot the to put battery! me so dense!

TINY STUFF
HINTS & EXAMPLES
funny game !
ReplyDeletebrain teaser
ReplyDelete@Premiere - thanks for the picture showing your math. Unfortunately, my first game the math didn't work (I had the same operators as your example, but different numbers). The restart worked, however!
ReplyDeleteoh yes, Rainbow's ones are always brain teasers.
ReplyDelete(But I like that :P)
Only thing I don't like is slider puzzles with AMBIGUOUS solutions...what tells me where to place which dot?
(note I do not hate slider puzzles per se, and yes I know I'm in a minority =))
@Puzzled, the math ALWAYS works (I mean the code number)
ReplyDeleteWhat I found out is that there is a mechanical bug in the routine that controls the big chest, and that is the number dials in particular.
Supposing you put in a WRONG code like 5462 and then find out the code is 5872 it will NOT be sufficient to just turn the 2nd and 3rd dial; you will have to perform one full cycle with the 1st and 4th one as well.
Found that out by accident when I checked my math 3 times, found it correct, and never got the chest open; after turning ALL dials no matter what they had shown before everything worked fine.
Yesss! I'm getting better at anticipating where the tiny stuff will be - at last.
ReplyDeleteAnd the slider puzzle was really easy - none of the tiles was moved too much out of place.
The reward for completeing it? Is that little lamp guy small-tool, moonlighting? [and showing more anatomy than we are used to, haha]
I'm very surprised nobody else mentioned him!
To arbeitslooser:
Did you not look out of both windows with the telescope? The left one shows a hoarding with the picture from the tile puzzle. You can either get a screenie of it or draw it. It isn't very complicated.
The numbers were my only problem in this game. I'm useless at mental arithmetic and opening my calculator kicks me off my mobile broadband connection. Grrr!
Otherwise, nice game - I love the way we actually have to think for these. =D
The rating [so far] for this post is not a measure of this game's quality, but is showing [again] how few players are "up to it". ;)
Cheeses-Crisps! I spelled "completing" wrong again!
ReplyDeleteWell Rook, if opening the calc kicked me out of my connection, I'd just use a physical calculator or, why not, the one in my cell phone?
ReplyDelete(It's usually dying away of loneliness anyway, since most people would just use the cell for phoning and texting, despite having 9761 functions built in this thing)
After a second restart and my code still not working (yes, I did the math correctly) I've had enough. Glad some of you were able to enjoy this game. :)
ReplyDeleteAha, arbeitslooser ;)
ReplyDeleteNow, there's a thought.......thanks for the suggestions, but,
Guess what?
My life is made of wattle and daub, a few wood shavings, and sellotape and safety pins.
Physical calculator? I wish, and my mobile phone ["cell" to americans] is so old that it gets around in a wheelchair. Well, that's an exaggeration, but although it isn't quite the brick type, it would have a fit if I tried to look for a calculator on it. Yes, crash.
Now you see what I'm up against?
Luckily, I'm a very patient person ;)
