I got an akabeko from counting balls on wreaths. Still must be missing candle somewhere.
For the 3 digits code, count the number of round balls of each colour on the wreaths.
Akabeko had a santa hat pop on, then is gone again. Guess we have a bug and need to find a santa hat for akabeko.
There's at least 4 orange.

I can find only 3 orange candles : on the table, on the fireplace, on the floor near the Xmas tree.
found another yello candle behind headboard. Still not working.
And there are 3 green candles : on the table, near on the bed, on the floor behind a parcel.

The number on the fireplace is 7184 for me. And what about Akabeko ?...
Hm. I think the 3 ends are just;
without akabeko
with akabeko without little hat on
with akabeko with little hat on.
7184 doesn't work as a code for the exit door.

On the backside of the note (bottom left in inventory) it says; door + 16.
I just looked in the code and I couldn't find anything else to do.
except one thing was weird, there should be another paper with hint for 3 digit code.

"3142" does NO longer work.
Amount of green candles must now be input as 3.
BTW, despite the heartwarmingly cosy design, the author seems a little colorblind too :P
(the candles on the table are indeed yellow, but read the description in-game: they're referred to as "orange".
