Okay, got the lid off and now I'm stuck
created a bowl of soup placed the chopsticks and stuck again! LOL

do you use the key or are you just out when you get soup?
I have the 2 swirly gears, 2 wontons, and 2 balck things in the bowl with the chopsticks. Don't know what I am supposed to do next.
@kyridges...I used the key but am not sure where.

prob had to use key before getting soup with black things and wontons. i think i'm doomed.

The key is used to unlock the chopsticks.

@Tarisa, where are you stuck?
Have you put the two gears with red swirls in the bowl? Then take the top that had the gears on it and turn it over to see the egg and the word "Get". Turn it back over, flip the switch, and flip it over again to get the sliced egg.
@GuruOne had the best hint: just keep flipping that switch!
I have swirly gears, wontons, black things, and chop sticks in the bowl. Don't know what to do next.
go for the egg! look on the back of the piece where the gears were...

@zoz...thank you!!!! I was flipping the switch and then turning it over (didn't realize GuruOne's hint was for the egg). But I didn't know I had to flip the switch twice in order to get the egg.
Feel sily getting stuck on that last part.
Now, I'm out. YEAH!
I better go eat the soup before it gets cold.
@tarisa, switch the knob from the thing where the gears wre..turn and click get..if that doesnt work: click again the knob...keep on trying ..the egg will get free!!!

I know I am little late in the game, but anyway, I'm stuck after got the lid off. I'm pressing the switch but nothing happend except stoping the gear. Has to be the gear in some precise position?

there's a sign on big cog, which has to fit with the grey lines (if correct you'll hear a knocking sound)

QUICKTHROUGH
INVENTORY NOTE
- items top screen: to get sth (CLICK to open in inventory)
- items bottom screen: to use on jar (DRAG)
- click pot to start
- right: click button
- 2x left: see HINT
- right & down: adjust hand at moon with star
- 2x up: ditto
--> FIRST LID'S OPEN
- click red BUTTON on first lid to remove it (squeaking sounds)
- look under first lid for KEY
- look under red button for COG, note POINT & click button again to put in bottom inventory for later use
- stop with pink handle right of big cog with SIGN
- put (DRAG) cog from red button in empty place (little hole)
- click pink handle again to let run cogs again
- when sign fits grey lines around cog, click pink handle again to stop cogs (knocking sound)
- click on a cog to remove all cogs
--> SECOND LID'S OPEN
- use (DRAG) key on keyhole in black holder to get CHOPSTICKS
- put (DRAG) red button in little hole in jar & click on it
--> THIRD LID'S OPEN
SOUP
- turn cogs & take 2 cog CHIPS :-D with a red spiral on them
- put (DRAG) cog chips in soup
- put (DRAG) chop sticks in soup
- take VEGETABLES from under third lid & put (DRAG) them in soup
- turn second lid to see the word GET
- note white button under ladder lines...
- click pink handle 5x until GET is shining in RED
(you may have to turn lid several times to look for progress...)
- click white button - it's an EGG...! 8-D
- put (DRAG) egg in soup
--> ENJOY!
