Get a sander from left side of sofa (TV view)
Use sander on metronome on piano for Blue Key.
Red puzzle, use the 7 colours from the picture beside piano, YGBRYGB.
Get Razor Blade,
Use Blade on the speaker left of TV for
Orange Key.
Orange Puzzle is a Slider, get a Piece of a Hammer.
Green Puzzle is TIGER from the plate clue,
get a garden shovel, use shovel in plant pot for the
Yellow Key.
Yellow puzzle is 21:10 from clock, get a piece of a Hammer.

Combine two pieces of hammer and use on the door.

How this ken-ken is done.
ReplyDeleteFirst the 4 in second column, second row.
Then third column, first and second row has to be 4 and 1.
Also, first row (6x) has to be 3x2, so the 4th column is 1.
Then a bit difficult step. To make 48x.
You can do that with 4 numbers left (1 on top already used). You can only make that by 2x2x4x3. And the 2 can't be in the same column, so third column 4th row is a 2.
Then third column thrid row is 3.
Then the 6x at the bottom already has 3x, so the other two have to be 2x1. Thus the first row of second column is 3 and therefore the first row first column 2.
Then the 2 in the second row can only be in the 4th column and from then on it's just filling in the missing numbers.
Easy as pie....but....where was the paranoia????

ReplyDeleteNow I remember why I skip over most room escape games: it's because Sturgeon's Law is in full effect with them. FOr every game like Vision or Challenge the Future, there's hundreds like this: Mindless clicking in search of tiny, tiny hit boxes, rooms packed with this that look important, but can't be investigated, and solutions so obtuse that they can't be found even when you're staring right at them.

ReplyDeleteFor rightmost block/cage, you know the numbers 1234 are in there in some order 1*2*3*4 = 24, therefor the bottom number in column 3 has to be 48/24=2.
