So far
one end clear - with panda,absolutely...

used cup filled with water
half metal heart
clue on wall

Have my lunch now, good luck everyone

Oh Detarou LOL always funny (dont go where the panda points)

I love these games! Here I come! :D

thank goodness for Detarou. I could use a good laugh and these games always do the trick.

LOL i opened code cupboard..

number code on backdoor seems to relate to the 3X3 clue?

so far, i've just got a beaker of water and thrown it on the pack of business men in the cupboard. Now I see a code. I'm always way behind everyone in these games!

going in....wait for meeee...lolol

I love these...but they always creep me out just a little!!!

just in case anyone is wondering (I know you've got it already @Leroy), throw the water on the code on the back of the cupboard after the men fall out and you get the code for the other doors.

zoz, don't feel bad. I'm usually behind as well! :)

hey @zoz...remember Steve Martin's "King Tut" ? lol

@nokra, yes! King Tut, aha.
on the cabinet with 9 little doors, go around until each one opens and then open the middle one and there's a heart. I think the half heart thing we got somewhere (?) will go there, but not yet.

Hmmmm lost now LOL did panda end and now cant open brown cupboard anymore...

lol @ guy in fish pond!

uh oh, found a way into the ductwork above a closet and now there's a panda sign. I think I'm about to diiiiiiiiieeee!

Yep. Going for the chocolate ice cream cone. Dead. Fortunately, I saved the game.

lol, well that's one ending down. Used golden key on front door.

Restart!

       Anonymous  3/31/12, 10:15 PM

I can't get the "tic-tac-toe" code...any hints?

Why!!!

Gonna restart again. Not going to waste the handle on the doors. lol

@Heather, I was just about to ask the same question! Somehow the numbers (1-4) in the grid on the wall must be a clue. But not for me.

tic tac toe code is 8934 count number inside all cabinets

nearly 1:30 am ...brain not working...need the same as heather....lol

Heather, the tic-tac-toe code is showing you the order of the numbers that are hidden behind the doors on the wall. To unlock those doors, you must click open their picture on the opposite wall.

catalyste did you get backdoor code?

       Anonymous  3/31/12, 10:22 PM

Oh! Thanks a bunch!

im stuck with key and half heart. nothing to do with face on pool and fishrman up in the pool. plz help i never cant finish this games.. is crazy

what about hands puzzle in cabinet?

Hand puzzle is tricky. The buttons don't correspond with the hands.

really not getting it...time for bed!!!! see ya'll tomorrow!

Jon, you have to use the handle on the door in the vent. It'll give you the hook for the fisherman.

Is very crazy Jonatan LOL

Leroy, yes.

Backdoor code is found by looking at the positions of the doors on the wall. Behind those doors are numbers. To unlock those doors, click their picture on the opposite wall in numerical order from the clue.

i used the handle on cabinet and now i can get it back, there is other handle?

Key gives another end out the front door... so dont use handle on brown cupboard I guess

Aaaaah TY Jonatan now I understand LOL can use handle twice?

Whew!

Hand puzzle:

Ok, I numbered the hands from left to right as:

1 2

3 4

The buttons are (bottom left/right or bl/br, upper left/right or ul/ur)

bl = 2, ul = 3, ur = 4, br = 1

So the hand sequence is:

2, 3, 2, 4, 1, 4, 3

       Anonymous  3/31/12, 10:34 PM

There's a key?

So 2 endings so far. One with Mr. Panda in the ductwork and one using key on door. Now I guess I take the handle back and use it somewhere else?

I have a rubber stamp...and I'm wary of red buttons! lol

@Heather, you get a brown handle , I THINK from beside the pool. anyway, click on the upper right door on the small 3x3 grid, then place the handle on the corresponding door on the larger wall 3/x3 grid.
I can't get the handle back.
And, btw, what Hand puzzle???

       Anonymous  3/31/12, 10:39 PM

This is gonna sound dumb...but where are the "buttons"?

im trying your sequence but dosent work for me.

5 13

27 46

right? acording numbered buttons 1 2
3 4

Ah, pressing red button gives me another handle!

So the first handle is used for the door in the vent and this second one can be used for the cabinet! :)

numbered buttons

1 2
3 4

I can't find the handle for the door in the vent. Help?

Out with perfect ending! :)

I'll be around for help. :)

zoz, door is left of the Panda poster.

ok, found Hand Puzzle, It's behind the middle door on the right side of the brown cabinet.

i need the sequence for hands puzzle to get the other handle. btw i dont know where u get the puzzle for hands

@Catalyste, I found the door, but I haven't got the handle yet! But I'm still exploring the brown cabinet, so stay tuned...

jonatan, I numbered the hands. I labelled the buttons as Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Upper Left, and Upper Right.

jonatan:

To get the clue for the hand puzzle, you cannot use the handle you get from the pond on the wall cabinet. You have to use it when you go into the vent and make a left at the poster. After that, go back to the backyard, look up, give the fisherman the hook, look down, get the card. Now use the card on the statue and it'll start slapping itself 7 times.

Those slaps are the sequence.

Go back to the puzzle. The buttons have to match the hand positions.

so does this mean I have to start over if I used the brown handle on the wall cabinet instead of the vent?

well i used the handle on cabinet and now i cant get it back.. i think i have to restart :(

there must be other solution for that damn handle if u used at cabinet first

Buttons sequence for hand puzzle:

BL, UL, BL, UR, BR, UR, UL

Hope that's better than my numbers. lol

zoz & jon:

Yeah, you gotta start over.

You can't use it on the cabinet. That cabinet can be opened later. :)

arrrrgh, I have to get up in 4 hours; what am I doing here?
(then again, there may not be many more opportunities to play on this site :(((

thnx for the help catalyste but i cant make the hands puzzle if i used the handle on cabinet. i have to restart and i dont want to made all again. so i quit thnx and bye

btw i hate this crazy and no sense games.. im gonna have nightmares after this... specially with the pool face.

Aoowww! Poor pool guy hooked in the nose. Oh, well.

jeez, I couldn't remember where I got the first half of the heart. FINALLY, I remembered it was in the toilet, lol. Now I have to take a handle that was extruded from someone's nose. Gotta love these games.

btw, does anyone know why there is a 2 behind the lower right cabinet door?

Ah that's half a heart!!!

I thought it was a hearing device. I would never doubt Taro would even let you find a hearing device inside a toilet and give this back to one of the guys. (ewwww)

Damn! Stuck at the very beginning.

+||++||++||++||+ ... code inside cupboard where the business guys where.
I thought it was for the 4-symbol code of double doors but none of the combinations I tried works...

zoz, my guess would be to throw you off. :)

hi all

so i got the other half of the heart and i have no idea what to do next. a little help, please! :)

nevermind, i got a stamp and a key
(now i understand what POP really means, lol)

Ahhh, wow! I've been waiting for this all month and it's actually early =D
Time to get my surreal imagination hat on and try to sneak in a walkthrough before premiere hits and runs ;) [although hers are probably easier to follow]

WALKTHROUGH part one:

You face a door, with a back arrow and left arrow when you mouse over the edges.
I'll recap here as I played the game, so turn left to face a toilet door.
I wish I knew what the squiggles on the poster said, but I'll have to live without that knowledge.
Click the door to enter and lift the toilet lid.
Detarou seem to have taken over where Selfdefiant left off, so go toilet-diving to retrieve the object.
You have no idea what it is yet, but you'll find out if your shape-recognition's any good.

Turn left and see a locked brown double door.
Click down to turn around and carefully click the black handle to enter the next area [mind the down arrow].
An inverted gymnast hangs from the ceiling and a sullen-looking guy sits at the table in front of his face.
Goodness knows what the two are up to, but if you click the men you can turn to see the gymnast's face and he's in quite a bit of trouble.
You can only observe them. Back up to face the sliding panelled doors behind them [the cream-coloured ones] and click to open them.

A pharaoh with shades on is whistling to himself and jiving a little bit. He's far too cool to need that glass of water so you can have it.
It looks like a magic, refilling glass of water in your inventory. Could be vodka I suppose, but I prefer gin.

Before you leave this area, notice a door with a four-number code panel locking it.

Back out twice and turn left to face white double doors with a locking panel on the front.
Four shapes, with four sets of up/down buttons to scroll through the options, but go left because you will need the sequence.

Oh, a pair of jittery butt cheeks to your left - he's still struggling then!
You can zoom in on the face poking out through the wall, but no interaction yet.
Click the double cupboard doors to its right.

Woah! Pile-up!!
They are hot and bothered and need some kind of liquid lubricant so they can burst free. Perhaps the glass contains baby oil. =)
Throw it a them and they tumble out. Hm. You've still got the magic glass.
There is a design on the back of the cupboard so zoom in on it.
If you removed some of the lines you could make shapes like the ones on the locked door's panel.

Baby oil is often handy for removing stubborn stains, so throw the glass of liquid again, just in case. Sweet! There's the code.
memorise or note it down and return to the panel.
Enter the code and the doors open.

The best spoiler I can manage here is to say which buttons to click, in left to right order:
downx2, upx3, upx1, downx4.
I wrote it down as I did it in case I messed up a save.

Enter this new area and see a six-armed statue[?] with a card slot at its feet.

Look at the disc on the wall to the left and note down the numbers in a noughts-and-crosses grid [so nine spaces].

Turn left and see another double-door cupboard and some mini cupboards in a nine by nine arrangement.

Use save frequently, in both slots, in case you do something which you can't reverse.

Take a leap of faith into the cupboard and go up into the roof hole.

Move forward one, then turn left.
There's that yucky maggotty thing.

Back out and click straight on.
You can only go straight on again, but you see a poster.

No one who has played Detarou games before will trust that panda, so turn left.
In front of you is a grey cupboard which needs a door handle.

WALKTHROUGH part two:

Back all the way out to the coloured area and have a look at the tiny doors.
The bottom right one is open, and you can only open them in a certain sequence, which is anticlockwise.
The centre one will open after any of the touching doors are opened, so not the diagonal ones, and vice versa.
There's a shape behind the central door which you may think is familiar.
Look again at that thing in your inventory.
If realisation dawns, you'll see it's half a heart shape, so you will need the other half.
Remembering the nine by nine clue you saw, open the door in position "1" before you turn away. [Where the "1" is on the clue - so west door.]

In previous Detarou games they have used a similar technique to the tiny cupboards idea, and if you worked it out yourself then you are more likely to understand it now.
Back out and turn left twice.
Just as you suspected, there are larger versions of the nine tiny cupboards on this wall. One has a handle missing.
Zoom in on the one which corresponds to your wall disc clue position "1" and you can open it.
There's a figure "8" inside. Write this down or remember it.
Notice that you can only open the larger door in the same position as the tiny door you last left open.
Turn back and open each of the tiny doors in the order of the nine by nine clue, to find the four numbers which you will need.
The number two in the bottom right cupboard is a trap to catch the unwary player, so make sure you wrote the clue down correctly.
In the eastmost cupboard is a box with four hands which light up when you press the four buttons between them.
Draw a diagram and make sure you know which button lights which hand because this puzzle is nice and complicated =D

South east button lights the north west hand, etc.

When you've got all four numbers, return to the area with the hanging gymnast, then to the pharaoh.
Click on the door to his left and enter the four digits from the cupboard in the order you were given from the clue. [Spoiled somewhere above in comments.]

Now that the glass doors are open you can enter the outside area.
A huge head in a pool, with a card in his mouth , stubborn eyes and a bung up his right nostril.
[That's another thing I've noticed about Detarou games, their delightful obsession with probing, filling and poking nostrils. Such exquisite insult devices =D]

Click the face and you collect the bung, which turns out to be a door handle [but of course!].

There's an up arrow at the top, so use it to see a guy doing something sneaky with a fishing rod over the wall. His rod is just a piece of string, so not very effective yet.

Back out.

Now. Decide where to use the handle.
Personally, I saw that the cupboard door would be the easy option, so, knowing Detarou games a smidgen, I opted for the one all the way up the attic maze.
After I got the red seal ending, I supposed it must be the better option, too. =D

WALKTHROUGH part three:

Pressing on, go all the way back to the grey handleless door and add your handle/knob/nostril bung.
Ooer, a double hook! Overkill for the fisherman, perhaps?
Go back down to the pool outside and try it on the rod.
Perfect fit, you SHALL go to the ball!
The fisherman looks like he's trying to land a marlin, so look down and have a laugh =D =D =D
Your eyes aren't so stubborn now, are they, Mister Baggy McNostrils!!!
The card is yours for the taking.

You know where to place this card, unless your memory is really awful, so go to the many-armed figure and post it in the hole.

Now watch carefully, and note the sequence of seven slaps that it inflicts on itself.
[I remember a documentary about a lady who had a brain hemisphere separation to treat her epilepsy, which had the strange and very difficult complication of her right hand developing a will of its own. It would slap her randomly and do other really wicked things, which was quite bizarre to watch, but must have been absolutely dreadful for her. I have to confess, I couldn't help laughing though. Am I a bad person? Probably.]

Dragging myself from Planet Sidetrack, you really need to write down the order of the slaps.
Next you need to work out which of the buttons in the east cupboard to click to light the correct hand.
The box is in the east larger cupboard. You hopefully left the tiny east door open.

Experiment a bit to find out yourself, or follow this sequence of button presses....[in compass-point directions]
SW, NW, SW, NE, SE, NE, NW

The box opens for the other half of your heart thingy. Open one half to examine by double-clicking and use the other half on it.

You must know where this goes.

Turn to face the tiny cupboards and open the central tiny door.
Put the heart in the heart-hole and turn back to the larger cupboards.
Open the corresponding door and get a red ink-stamp. =D [It's do-it-yourself week, obviously, haha.]

If you dare, press the big red tempting button.

You get to watch another nostril event and the suspended gymnast dropped on his head [but he's much happier now, honest].

Go and check on him, but all you get is a view of his tee-shirt/vest.

Go to the face in the wall.
Gingerly grab the emerging brown bogie [no, you can't wipe it] and discover a new handle.
There's only one place left for this handle so find the tiny cupboards, open the north east tiny door and turn to the larger cupboards.

Apply your handle and take a gold key [last inventory space sorted!]

Go back to the brown-panelled double doors in the very first scene and use the key.
Hear the success riff and wait for your red seal ending [and an army of nasty maggotty things, haha. Well, four. >.<]

I did try to use the red stamp on the gymnast's vest, but it seems you simply have to HAVE it when you leave =D

A new Detarou game on April 1st! Perfect!

Thank you @Rookwings for the marvelous WT. I found the 2 bad endings on my own, but needed lots of help for the red-seal ending. TYTYTYTY
