Found key and key opened a book for a box.
I saw 3 shapes with numbers and stuck.
red key used for SD, got green key and lots of japanese on books
cannot make out 3 digit code from sofa

Opened drawer, i think it was 228, the 2 i googled....the last one was bruteforced.

I looked at japanese numbers and the two lines on the back of the first two sofa parts are "2", so i tried 22..
Now what to do with the money, the machine won´t take it, do we need to change it ?
the machine need 9500 for a key (suppose its the exit key) so we need to change the 10'000 for coins

There's a color code in the box we got from the cb - it's a crayon box
I tried matching it up w/ the color-blend picture and the #s on the dice - but no dice
Still can't get that picture to move

added 2 #s on sd for code in cardreader but can't tell what it did -
Just1 put the 10000 bill and it gives you 1000s
OK so after you get the key from the red machine you also get a 500 coin. Use the coin to open the compartment behind plant. Now need a 3digit code..
This code comes from the green numbers but don't get exactly how. 5963/89 is 67 but.. Anybody know what that japanese means?
OK stupid me the answer is 067 and you get a ladder and escape to the roof... Don't know if it's better though!

Grrrr! No one tells how to open a BOOK with a KEY! Even SM who had trouble just says "POP" (and she gets really upset when someone does that to her!)

Presumably this comes from combining the diagram above the frog (upside down) with something else.
I tried rolling a dice in the way indicated by the diagram, but that isn't it.

Put card in machine
Enter pass code from screwdriver (add the 2 numbers)
Put not in slot under card
Take STACK OF 1000 NOTES
Put notes in red machine -- the white buttons are now lit (GYB)
Use TV color clue (if you make an error, back out and zoom in again)
Take GOLD KEY and 500 COIN
ENDING #1:
Use Yellow key to go through the door -- and you have to study
ENDING #2:
Use coin behind plant
See place for 3 digit number
Combine the green shape numbers and divide by 89
This drops a ladder next to door
Climb up the ladder and enjoy the view

I almost always try a new Japanese game, because until I go in, I don't know how hard my brain is going to be twisted and challenged! If it involves understanding Japanese language and culture, it's me who lacks the knowledge and I love it when someone is able to explain what I couldn't get on my own!

I had to try your idea after reading your WT. Let me tell you that it is correct, even when apparently you couldn't get anything out of it.
To get the order for the picture corners you do have to roll a dice through all the path in the hint. Make notes of the numbers on top of the dice. If done correctly, the numbers on each corner will show you the order.
well I think the code from sofa comes from this:
on the back of sofa there is こころ kokoro written in hiragana
when we turn this into katakana it'll be ココロ
now when we add LLU from seat of sofa we get the code 228

Well, there is a clue, however, it's well hidden:
the back cover of the RED book in the shelf reads 'KATAKANA' (in Japanese)
