I figured out the knob was an inkwell...lol
use it with the feather on the paper for a 4 digit clue....for the other half of the key to match the half from the sink

I have a knife and a hammer...stuck
use key plus color code from lamp, on the trunk...
for a hammer
There's a hint on the upper part of the desk, but it doesn't work on the puzzle in the drawer...
broke the mirror ...nothing
have a knife, not used yet
and do not see any clues for the other puzzles in drawers

I was able to crack the mirror once with hammer, but nothing happened, and hammer is gone...
same here, @zoe...and picking up the things in inventory is a pain!
All I have is a knife that doesn't seem to cut anything.
AHA found a different view up high in the room where the trunk is...use knife for clue
did you use the knife? can't find a place to use it....hmmm, maybe the sofa....nope...
but, I just figured out the items stick to cursor without holding button down...lol
put knife in hole in lamp in UL corner in trunk view
That isn't a knife, it's a candle that goes in the square in the left hand lamp in the first scene. That gives the numbers for the grid on the second drawer. I have put them in the three times and they don't work. Also, the third drawer clue doesn't work either.

@Lizzardo - I tried the numbers too, and they didn't work for me. This is getting too tedious.

I hate tedious things like this that you have to put in over and over ....grrrrrrr....lolol
I've tried the way they are written from top to bottom, bottom to top, right to left, left to right, etc. Nothing works. No logic to this one that I can see.
Clue on upper desk is used with numbers clue. So enter the numbers in the drawer according to the orange circle clues.
whatever the knife/candle/lightbulb is....I don't care..... hate this game!!!!! lololol

nokra: just put in five numbers: top middle, left middle, right middle; bottom middle; and the one right in the middle of all the squares:
top middle: 3
left middle: 7
right middle: 3
bottom middle: 6
middle of grid: 4
