no idea what the green thing should be.
I also noticed that above the "0", there is 3 or 4 squares in a different color, looks like dark green. Very hard to distinguish.

You need to count the dish in the fridge (hint on big box at door) then put grill from under sink on fire, put squid and put the number in the box below.
testsite... it looks like a 31 on the beer mug but i thnk you need another mug to complete the code just like the picture on the squid

with coffee maker i just did trial and error with buttons, then put the beer can in and gives you a mug
Where are the numbers on the wall? Turned light off and went around but don't see anything?
linda I think you need to have the stove activated to see numbers on wall above it.
put the 3 flowers in the box on fridge. Use code on curtains to open box.
numbers are behind that mirror-like thing above stove, click on it.

Numbers on wall you get after inputting right number and cooking squid... then when you put on fire again numbers apear.

After you open box on fridge, you got electric to turn on lamp. Gives you number for "coffee"machine (actually for the beer).

Mirror beer number. So together it makes one number (181). Then do math as told on squid.

I put the colored (purple, red, yellow) blocks into the box on the fridge, but I can't click on them. They just go back into inventory. What am I doing wrong?

I assume you need the knife to reveal the "coffeemaker"?
Well, something went wonky, I have saved in time, but now the coffeemaker turned back to the box with the symbols, and the knife is crossed out!!
So in case I am right, make sure you DO NOT USE THE KNIFE when saving the game! Because then the coffeemaker will be unavailable to you.

The red flower was in the fridge behind the plate after you do the l/r puzzle. I don't know the right order. I've put purple red yellow, then purple yellow red, but all that happens when i click on them is they go back to inventory. This game isn't very logical...

zoe, can't remember the colourorder to put them in box. Try all combinations (start with yellow or red first). They are correct when you can't take them back.
@Zoe TY found the red block. My problem is the I put the blocks, Red , Yellow, Purple and I can't do anything with. The box don't goes open.

Nope Rimic, talking about number you get after putting lamp on... that's the one you use for coffeemaker... ah well, in this case beermaker.... Still stuck with end code!!

So use heartnumber + beernumber + heartnumber.

Thanks @testsite! Thought I had tried the knife everywhere! Other puzzles were so nicely clued and logical (if a bit sneaky in places!)

Probably the author sneaked into here and read my concern far above. Or it was in some Japanese blog that someone said this is not a good idea to feature that in a game.
The Japanese are very concerned in these things. Just think about their behavior to always apologize if there is a ghost in the game. Or they tell you to be careful about the sound volume. ;)
@arbeitslooser -- you're right! (although she's drinking beer outside) So now there's and Ending #2, but no Ending #1!?
And it was a very moralistic ending as well -- she ended up having a nightmare of being locked in a room with unsolvable puzzles!
well at least i finished the game without trial and error this time, worked out the blocks i didnt realise there was a cord for the LAMP!! lol far out

beer got max. 5 abv (= 10 proof), whilst "real" liquor can have up to 70 proof! (sometimes even more)

@arbeitslooser - True, but in the US, it's still alcohol and you have to be 21 to legally drink it!
BTW. The bottle looked like sake which would be about 15%, similar to a heavy wine.
Can anyone tell me where is the cord to plug in the lamp?
Cord once you place the three bricks (red, yellow, purple since the clue tells 213 and the bricks have numbers when you view and click them) on top of the fridge and press button to make them stick. Then click them the order of the symbols on the curtains (purple, red, yellow, red, purple). You have to click them quite quickly to make it work.
Puzzled: of course you're right, but I didn't want to be TOO specific :) But I *am* aware that, weirdly enough, in the U.S., an 8-proof beer (4 abv.) is categorized under "malt liquor".
Whilst in Europe, people would hardly call anything "beer" that got 3 %, but rather claim to taste like water you normally do the washing-up with. ;-)

Hah no they aren't. You will activate the box by placing the square... erm ... blocks (?) (which had looked like thin tissue napkins to me).
Once the box is activated, it will show slightly different colors than the "napkins/blocks/whatever" were.
By the way: This "little girl" seems more like a young woman or a teenage girl to me. Remember this author's deliberately cute style, but looking at the proportions of the head towards the body, this is not a child.
But the cat is drinking beer ... ?

-Eat edamame for PEA CLUE
-Use pea clue to open refrigerator
-Take BEER and PINK BOTTLE

-Use pink bottle on paper for 3 clues: PINK FLOWER, DROP SIGN, ARROWS
-Use arrows clue on refrigerator compartment for SQUID, RED SQUARE, and food plate clue
-Place grill pan on range
-Enter combined food clues on range
-Place squid
-Pick up cooked squid (it cooks quickly!)
-Note SQUID CODE
-Note COLORED NUMBERS on wall panel
-Open bed panel using colored numbers for KEY and KNIFE

NOTE: When game was first released, there was a Normal End #1:
You could click on pink bottle and get an option to drink the liquor.
If you said "yes", there was a sequence where the girl decided to have "only 1 taste", then finished the bottle.
She found a secret compartment in a corner.
There were 2 codes with 2 hints
Entered correctly, locker opened with strange parts that she played with.
She woke up in bed with all new codes everywhere.
Inventory was empty.
I remember a bomb in front of left bed drawer, right drawer was wired to bedframe, etc.
You could then return to the game to find the 2nd end.
