Jon...how are you?

Hellooo... Is there anybody out there?

I'm searching the code for 1st level. It's not a "semaphore" or "flag" code...

@franza - it's called the dancing men cipher

Hi guys...there is a basic diagram of dancing men among other codes and ciphers here: http://riddlestuff.webs.com/riddletools.htm

(Nokra...I am better now...had a bad night in the hospital last night though....)

Thank you Nokra! I missed that!

Dang! you went to hospital...when a trip to the Dentist would have worked fine....Glad you are better! :-)

I mean...the dentist ...a week ago! lolol

*Can't do riddles, but glad you feel better Jon!* :D

Oh and hi everyone... good luck with the riddle!! Lol

I miss PurpleHell!!

I love fantasy literature, but I must confess I never read these books... on lev. 3 now

Level 5
Decoded and found the book it refers to but stuck :(
A Nudge please?

@purplelogic: just finish the sentence you decoded.

what happened to purple hell?

@jbg TY so much.

I'm stuck on level 13 now. I don't know what alphabet to use.

what is the cipher in 2? since no purple hell, I am having a hard time finding the right tool

no cipher EnJoy. Just read it.

Level 2 is not really cipher. Just written differently.

thanks guys.. will look again! :)

Sorry, can someone tell me where i have to wright ore put in the answer?

Tijuna,

You put it in at the URL at the top of the page so to get in it would be:
http://fanlitriddle.yolasite.com/level1.php

Every time you have an answer, you have to change the silly URL. EG:
http://fanlitriddle.yolasite.com/?????.php

Damn hindering awkward and the reason that I never have the patience to play these. It is so much nicer when they just give you a block to type into

Could someone tell what is the symbols name on level 21??...pls
I forgot...
Oh PH, PH

NVM...lol...remembered!!

Finished. Thanks for the riddle Aleatha.

I am usually HORRIBLE at these, but Google is definitely my friend on this one! Stuck on the "That was the last deity" level. It is somewhere in the teens. Got the N********* a** E*** clue, but am stuck with what to do with it. Anyone have an idea?

Can someone help me with level 6. I've reached the part where it says that's the series. I don't know what to do after that..:(

@ mna_yhp you need to look at the page source for each page of level 6 for clues for last one. Right click the page to view the page source and look for the clue written in a different colour.

can anyone help me with level 7?

@ stekest - I'm not sure if it's the right one becuase I haven't got to the teens level yet but I remember doing some with clues like "represents god of..." so if that's the one your talking about then for the last page there's more than one and you need to put them all in the url.

Thanks eliking!
On to the next one...

@eliking - If you still need help on lvl 7: I didn't know the code so I worked it like a regular cryptogram. So look for simple words to start and remember that it's a question (i.e. what do questions start with?) and fantasy-related. If you need a nudge, the seventh word is:

SPdrOIagLEonR

Thanks stekest, i've been focusing on trying to find the type of code it is, i'll give it another go.

thanks eliking. that worked

no problem mna_yhp, stuck on 8 now...not sure i'm good enough for these games :(

       Anonymous  5/25/12, 1:17 PM

@eliking - You just need to manipulate the alphabet. Try using codes from http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/index.php

@ stekest - that's what i've been trying...but i'll try it again then

got it, thanks stekest

Stuck on level 24. I cannot find the font in my version of Word 2007 or any other versions I can find. Anyone recognize it?

way ahead of me stekest, sorry, if/when i get there i'll post if i figure it out

stuck at level 19 now...i found the hidden clue but cant work out what im supposed to do. Is there a rot17 decoder online somewhere?

ok found the rot17 decoder but still don't understand :(

phew, got it

@stekest - if your still stuck there's a clue in the page source...let me know if you need any more than that

Yay, finished :D

       Anonymous  5/25/12, 7:49 PM

@eliking Yes, I still need help! I've seen the page source, but I didn't find any font that included all of those symbols in my version of Word.

@ stekest - you need to use bookshelf symbol 7

Which tool for 5?

@naught - use octal...its on rumkin in the substitution cipher page

I can't find the right decoder for 9. I looked at the source code, but it doesn't make much sense. Do I just decode it with that and then try M**** C*** to get the right answer?

never mind. got it

@mna_yhp - yes, use the source code clue to change it into m**** c*** then decode that

Okay so I am truly stumped by 10. Am I missing something really obvious?

@mna_yhp - it's kinda similar to 9 because you have to do two things to get the answer...have you searched for what's written? even if the results dont seem relevant it will give you the means to change what's written into code

So I tried the periodic table for the different metals. That didn't work. I'm on anniversaries now. Is that what I need to do?

yea thats the one. when your noting the numbers make sure you put them as two figures (ie. instead of 4 have 04) that will help you find the right cipher to use

@eliking - Thanks for the help! I started from the bottom for the font lists, so I must have skipped over that one at the end. I was hoping I could finish up the last level, but I can't figure out the source code clue for level 25. Any help?

@ stekest - this one has two pages. the source code clue is an anagram which will give you the means to understand the picture...not sure how to give you a hint without being too obvious but it isnt a normal word so anagram solvers might not work (cant remember how i solved it).

the capital letter gives you a clue to the first letter though. ill post it as a spoiler in case you cant find it.

For the next page you need to use one of the links on the tool section of the puzzle.

SPbOetIamaLEzeR

stuck at level 17

please tell me the cipher for 17

@mims - its a kind of piglatin

THANK YOU eliking,I'm so lost without PH

no problem mims

Just started. Stuck on 1. Know the answer but it is rejected in letters or in number. Using /answer.php (answer = the number

@talron - it should work using letters...only thing i can think of is have you used a capital letter? cuz it wont work with capitals (goes for the whole game). unless you've got it wrong...does your answer begin with an 's'?

Thank you eliking. I had the wrong number....

no problem talron
