the only one I have any idea is blue, I think it's number of short lines to make up each digital number...
Red = (Japanese clue reads "5 + 2 is "
Blue = as per Laura's comment
Green : Totally no idea.. so I just brute forced it, since I knew the other 2 numbers ^^

Okay, someone replied to my question on a Japanese blog!
leaf = はっぱ = sort of represent 8 8 = 8 x 8 = 64
meat = にく = 2 x 9 = 18
afternoon = ごご = 5 x 5 = 25
And the clue says to add the 2 numbers, therefore 7
