well, I've been playing Dream House 1.5 for two weeks and I'm still two photo pieces short of making it to the Sequel. I guess I might as well fail at GotMail, too!
ah, this one is in English and doesn't require a pw. It must be one I skipped before it was translated.
(LOL... Dream house... I've attempted that twice now... and gave up both times, just due to sheer OVERLOAD... hehe)

hey @Guru! So far I only have a USB cable and lots of puzzles. Can't plug cable into computer. Bird Pic does nothing when I click where the X is on the bulletin board bird cartoon. I may be "Dream Housed Out", lol.

@Guru, you said to check the couch thrice? I only got two things - the odd bar thing and the hairpin that opened the box in the cupboard. Did you find more there?

click on couch where you found the strange device and get a hairpin, then click on it to straighten it out. Use it on the music box in cupboard for a key, use key on clock for the SD, then use hairpin on desk drawer for a cutter.

I have never in my life plugged a toothbrush into a computer before. I guess there is a first time for everything!
Crown thing in closet contains abrasive (similar to sandpaper)
theres something under the window besides laptop covered with something hard can't remove it with loaded toothbrush. maybe crown thing is polish but can't open it...
zoz how did you use/open crown thing?

I combined 2 cellophones but not understand the code for briefcase
With the safe code, just enter in order 1-6
I got the 2nd phone, but the code I'm coming up with isn't opening the briefcase...
you neednot open polish thing just cover it on toothbrush
@Isacus, even though the toothbrush says "it seems there is no more charge" you can highlight it then click on the tin of abrasive and that will put abrasive on toothbrush. Then use toothbrush on windowsill for key.
Final key is painful, use the metal thingy again and click like a random fool :P

Puzzled when your charging the toothbrush the light will be on so when the light is off take it out, it should be charged...i just plugged it in then zoomed out for abit then came back to it.

- I used metal bar on central point of bird picture after looking on board with another bird picture and get cellophone
-use hairpin after turning it into wire onbrown box in cupboard and get key for clock

-use cutter on box in bin and on tail of rabbit toy
-get toothbrush from box and key
-use key on cupboard with chains and get polish
-combne toothhbrush with wire and with PC
-after charging combine toothbrush with polish and use on dust at window
-get key and use on pink box
-get cellophone and combine 2 cellophones (after put on)
-look on new code on it and use on briefcase with clue from book (just from 0 till 9)
-get round thing and clue for safe
-combine metal bar with round thing and use that metal detector on top of balcony doors
-get key
-use key on lower drawer of another cupboard and open safe with clue
-use metaldetector agan on many keys and find your key for out after many clics and out!

Nice WT @Xenya! Like @Isacus, I didn't think to combine the two cell phones like in the picture on the bulletin board, so I wasn't getting your "0-9" hint. Once the phones combined and gave symbols for 0-9, it worked! (btw, entering your spoiler without combining the phones won't work).
Then the last code threw me off at first b/c I didn't realize it represented the order in which to click the buttons on the safe, doh!
Great game, although I thought the pile of keys in the end was kind of sadistic on the game maker's part!
Now you must all come and help us solve the mysteries of Dream House 1.5. It's like playing more than a dozen games in one!
oh I played in dream House 1.5 and it very difficult for me to get aware from ghosts and very bored to trough the same game again in first version.

Well, if it were up to me, I wouldn't have won the girl! And that pile of keys WAS very sadistic -- so we're to believe the rest of them were plastic?
@tygrys -- on left side of couch, click to get metal bar, click again to get hairpin. Then look at hairpin in inventory and open it to get a wire.
the item clicked on something metal, but I was able to reverse. Then I clicked again (with marked this something metal) on the couch and suddenly appeared to clip :)

Since I struggled a bit in this game, here are some pointers:
You can't do detailed things with items when you first pick them up -- you have to open them from inventory
(for bar/hairpin/wire, see above)
- to use clock key, click right side of clock
- SD on desk drawer -- don't go for the little round dot, click above the handle to pry the drawer open -- cutter is at back of drawer
- Place to use toothbrush -- click bottom right of window
- to turn on phones, click large button at bottom (not the little on on top)
- use cutter at base of dog's tail (white stitches)
@tygris, hope you can make it through the rest on your own with the walk through and the comments above.
Oh 'eck I wrote down the code from the paired phones but I can't get it to work on the safe keypad - I've tried like phone layout and calculator layout and think I must have written it down wrong. And the phones are grayed out now :o(. Might be forced to replay!

I don't find any key in the box that was in the dustbin.
And I don't know how to combine phones.
@Urban: click the second phone in about view until you can see the code, then click at the first phone to combine them...

it's about using cutter - should be: «get toothbrush from box & key from rabbit toy» (or similar):
1) only toothbrush from box in dustbin
2) key in stuffed animal on couch (tail)

Hmmmm...read everything , I think....But, I do not see a clue for the last safe!
Could someone point me in the right direction???
Again...I forgot about the clue in the briefcase....lol....too many interruptions....lol
Wow! That was tough, but not in a fun way. These are usually one my faves. Some tips: The spot on the bird photo is bottom right..took me forever to find it. I think you have to click on the cell phone pic on board before they will combine. Spot above glass doors is middle and key pixel is center of pile. Also, key disappear because they are stuck to the metal detector...about item to retrieve key.
ROFLMAO...OMG @Zoz.....I just fell out of my chair... *two photo pieces short of a sequel*.....LOLOLOL!!!!!! That phrase will forever be a part of my vocabulary ;) I have yet to finish Normal mode :P I set my flash to unlimited storage and all goes well...for the most part anyway...I save and save and save and then, the day ends, the computer is shut down and lo and behold, I excitedly come back to continue Dream House and nada, zip, zero...etc :/ I love this game but it looks like I will need to schedule a marathon to finish without having to start over 20 times ....! LOL...may you find your photos and receive the Sequel ;)

Lol Zoz...you could be two photos short of a sequel and your IQ would not be affected at all :D Considering that this is Dream House 1.5 we are discussing, I think somehow, two photos short of a sequel should put your IQ in the Mensa Meeting category ;) LOL!!!! I wonder if the creators of Dream House are planning another Dream House adventure for us! This has to be one of the best games ever!!!!!!!
