many fields, and 1 math problem i can't solve..
gotta go for a while, hopefully when i get back there's more players as i'm already confused..
I have managed to wander around...and release one arm...the binary math problem is confusing...
Point seems to be to push the buttons to activate arms, then go to a room overlooking that arm to move it. Use panels in room L and P to turn lasers on and off.

Finally out of that space maze LOL!
In the remake, there's another puzzle with o - * (circle left & star right), & the hint is about letters:
a = o
e = o
g = o
p = o
c = *
f = *
m = *
s = *
i.e. each letter with a closed area = o & with an open one = *
