Got the maths one done - racking my brain on the math equations now!
ReplyDeleteI am here !!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi @Philomena! I can't get the first two puzzles to do anything, and I'm either missing something on the third or it's wonky.
ReplyDelete@zoz, that's just what I had and nothing happens!
ReplyDeleteand hi @linda and @Patty and @everyone!!
ReplyDeleteI used to see these often and there was almost always something buggy. I think it's better left alone, at least by me
ReplyDeleteI am here !!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteonce you complete the MATHS puzzle you get a scroll which is placed on puzzle 1 and then the parts are movable
ReplyDeleteI also can't do anything on first two...
ReplyDeleteand when you leave the MATHS puzzle it resets and you have to start over? I don't think so...
ReplyDeleteI'm outta here!
me too, same answer on the third puzzle and nada
ReplyDeleteGrrrr why wont my maths solution work?
ReplyDeleteSomeone want to post the specific maths solution? Obviously only programmed one specific solution but there are others that should work (but dont)
ReplyDeleteThe MATHS solution that worked for me was to use the word MATHS, then move the letters to the left 1 time, then find how that would fit across.
ReplyDelete1- MATHS => ATHSM, so put that in the row with "H" in the middle
2 - ATHSM => THSMA ...
Apparently the game-maker didn't allow for other solutions
Struggling with the left one now.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteThe math puzzle don´t follow math rules. You read it from left to right and from up to down. For example 2- (5x6) = - 28
problem with number puzzle: 47 is divisible only by 1 and 47 -- prime number, so it ain't gonna work
ReplyDeleteis this live ...going in
ReplyDeleteI think first column has to be 2-7x8 = -54
ReplyDelete@Philomena - do multiplication before plus/minus
ReplyDeleteWay too much math-like problems. I'm not even smarter than a first grader here...
ReplyDeleteBottom row 7-54 = -47, 54 = 6x9
ReplyDeleteThe third puzzle is really enoying. ;P
ReplyDelete@Puzzled, thanks for MATHS solution!
ReplyDeleteWhat is little thing that came from MATHS... a bone?
and still can't get other two puzzles to do anything?
laura it is a scroll - drag it onto puzzle #1 to activate it
ReplyDeleteIt is a scroll. Put it at left puzzle and you get hint for that one
ReplyDeleteHope the author realizes that the 3rd puzzle will have at least 2 solutions (symmetry).
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 40 in BR corner and working from there.
Have to go. Good luck everybody
ReplyDeletethanks about scroll! I was trying to drag right onto puzzle...
ReplyDeletefinally got the math equations! don't understand what we do with the 3rd one? Think I'm outta here!
ReplyDeleteMiddle/last puzzle:
ReplyDeleteyou have a set of digits and a set of operations to fit in the grid. The digits go in the circles, the operations into the arrows
So, bottom row MIGHT be:
8 -3 5 x8 40
(8-3=5, 5x8=40)
and the right column might be
? ? 4 x10 40
Wish you could reset a column to space and/or mark off the entries you've used.
ReplyDeleteNot enjoying this one ...
I feel like I've gone through all of the possibilities, working backwards from 40 in the bottom corner--it seems impossible to solve. I need a -2 or the ability to use some numbers twice!
ReplyDeleteI think I have a solution.
ReplyDeleteone ist divided by 6)
First row:
3-1=2+6=8
Second row:
x2, -1, -3
Third row:
6:6=1+4=5
Fourth row:
+1, x4, x8
Fifth row:
7-3=4x10=40
But it doesn't work!
1. 2x5+1=11
ReplyDelete2.8+3+4=15
3.7-6x9=-47

ReplyDelete@nales...thank you thank you so much!!!!!! Bloody math....I had my *6* & *9* switched...lol!!!!! Now to rip the remaining hairs out of my scalp :P My brain is beyond any logical function but I refuse to give up...lol!!!!!
ReplyDelete@puzzled...you have also been a huge help. Thank you :)

ReplyDeleteThe game doesn't accept other combinations...
@ trwolf, got another combination and it works to go out
ReplyDeleteI did, put the pictures but doesn't open the door. why not?
ReplyDeleteAfter just 5 hours, I have escaped @.@ LOL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI could not have completed this game, however, without @nales, @puzzled and @seb :)
@seb...again, it was a matter of adjusting a few numbers and your hint was great...thank you!
This game has very specific solutions for each puzzle..i.e., the third and final puzzle required exact operators...and of course there is more than one operator that will give the correct answer for some of the solutions...pffftttt!!!!!! Do not forget to check the scroll for the operations possibilities ... a tricky, annoying game, but sooooo satisfying to sprint out that door...lol!!!!
@trwolf...all you need to do is turn each knob/symbol and freedome is yours ;)
ReplyDelete*freedome* ??? @.@ ROFL!!!!!!! "freedom"...gah!
ReplyDeleteThanks @Seb and @trwolf -- your 2 solutions are symmetric, and thanks @Irishenigma for the turn the symbols hint!
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice that one of the operators was DIVIDE by 6! lol
Not worth the time I spent ....

ReplyDeleteLol @Puzzled...I discovered the "divide by 6" after verbally assaulting my screen and telling it to *make it work*....ROFL!!!!! This was a very temperamental game and I don't think I have ever been so excited to escape a room...lol!!!! One of Sneaky's condos by the beach would be great right about now! Thank you again for your help!
ReplyDeletewell i tried that maths solution irish and i checked it twice and nothing happened and if u come out of that puzzle u have to start again
ReplyDelete@shaz...I am so sorry...I played this game and now have become dyslexic ... lol!!! I rechecked the *MATHS* solution and I inadvertently transposed the 4th line: it should be *SMATH* instead of *MSATH*, otherwise everything else is correct. Thank you for bringing that to my attention :) I will re-post walkthrough with correction.
ReplyDeleteWALKTHROUGH with POP Credits to Puzzled,Seb & Nales!
ReplyDeletePUZZLE No.1
It is only the beginning of the game and my brain is still functional, but this spirals rapidly due to an annoying little defect known as *the game requires very specific solutions*....happily, @Puzzled cleared the fog and the following is the "MATHS" solution :)
MATHS
HSMAT
ATHSM
SMATH
THSMA
The little purple doors open and your reward is a symbol/knob and a scroll. This lovely little scroll is placed on the puzzle board to the left; now you can set about solving this puzzle and/or beginning your descent into insanity :/ I learned I can multi-task quite efficiently...lol!
Place the scroll to the right of the math, then click to unroll scroll ....oh look, directions for solving those evil equations :P
A huge *thank you* to Puzzled and Nales for making our lives much easier not to mention relieving the horrible pounding in my head :)
1.2x5+1=11
2.8+3+4=15
3.7-6x9=-47
More purple doors open and ...who would have guessed...another symbol/knob and a scroll!
Many thanks to Seb for this great hint...attach the scroll to final puzzle board and unroll scroll...oh alright, yes...I like to say *unroll scroll* @.@ This game fried my cricuits...what can I say...lol!!!! Meanwhile, back at the puzzle:
3---6---7
2---1---4
8---5---40
The rest is easy once you fill in these numbers :) I would just like to say that, with this game's propensity for *specific* solutions, use the *divide 6* operator in the second column to satisfy its picky picky nature...lol!!!!!
Place all three symbols/knobs in the door and don't forget to turn them! As the door opens...sprint toward the light and never look back :P ;)
Many thanks to @Puzzled, @Seb and @Nales :)
@irishenigma --
ReplyDeleteit is only the lack of other new games that brought me back to read your marvelous WT!
Wish the game was worth the effort, but TY anyway!
YW for the help, but it went both ways, which is the best of EG24!
LOL @puzzled...I know exactly what you mean! After spending so much time on those silly puzzles and feeling my frustration level rising by the second, I thought I would compile the hints that helped me so much and be true to the EG24 tradition of *every game*, well, almost every game deserves a walkthrough...lol! Somehow, I don't think we will see many people interested in playing...math causes mass exodus ;) Oh...I no longer remember how to pronounce *MATHS*...lol!!!!
