new game!
and waiting at home for new PC games from C82 in Japan~
wow is this related to Geography? ...
looks like we need two types of SDs....
stuck...
my brain may be too tired for this... trying coolescapers...
Opened cb and got a book
And a paper... and stuck
how did you open the cb?
found the clue right of bookcase...but how to apply it to open the door at bottom of bookcase?
follow the pattern right side of cb.
You need to click one spot before go to W. Last E is Green.
Opened the suitcase and got some dials for clock.
I mean hands for clock, not dials.
I figured that, @roberto....but, where to start, Please?
...OK...got it ! lolol TY!
Now...I can't put all the pages in book to any use! any hints, anyone?
start in middle.
Did paper come from book, @roberto? I can't find it!
What you mean nokra? What pages?
Check cb again.
start in middle for what? I already opened the cabinet....anyone reading my questions?
Ah! Finally a SD!
pages....in the book! there are many pics with 3 digit numbers...don't know what to do with them....lolol...darn blogger....we keep missing comments...lol
If you have the book, try one of the numbers on suitcase.
Got the book missing page from drawer.
again...another thing I don't get...lol...the blu, orange, green...it that the books on the desk?
I really don't feel like trying all those 3 digits...(9 sets)there must be something that makes reference to the one to use...?
@philomena, @lottie??? Where did you go?
try 5th number
map on suitcase shows 500
I need help nokra!
Got the second SD!
Where are you all?
And Out!
What the heck clue do I use for the clock???? LOL
OMG nokra, I'm right there with you. I have no idea about the color coded paper or what to do with the clock! lol
combine NEWS in book on the table and 1st letter of months.
Glad someone is stuck with me....lol, @jillydoc!
can anyone post a screenshot for cb solution?
the green and grey thing :D
The paper is useful only after use 2nd SD.
nope....not getting it....way too cryptic for me....lol Is this for the drawer, @roberto?
a1, b1, a3, b3....Grrrrr...I don't understand!!!!
start in middle and then:
L,D,R,R,U,U,R
@acymy...just start in middle...click it, then click left, down, right, right, up, up, right......
Have you opened the top door?
If so, they are coordinates.
draw an imaginary line from a to the right and another from 1 to bottom and you get X,Y.W or T.
please, @robert...can you give another hint? I do not understand your comment from 9:43PM!
I don't even have ONE screwdriver!
Nokra, your N arrow is 11 and your south arrow is 9
last right is green.
How in the world did you come up with THAT?!?!lol
TY, TY, @philomena......
ohh thanks :) i got it ..and it opened finally :D
clock gives flat sd
Finally...getting somewhere...the clock thing just wasn't sinking in...now it is easy, after the fact! LOL
The color paper is hard to decipher!
I'm getting 5426 for NESW but it's not working...
last number is wrong
oh, never mind. I'm still blonde
Turn that 6...up-side-down....lol
Stuck now....have no idea how to apply the paper to the other "map" thing! lol
TY @robert for hanging around....the clues are good, I am just sleepy...brain is shutting down....it is after 1am...lol
OK, I`m sure you´re going to escape, so I`m going to bed. It´s cold tonight, and my wife is calling me. lol
See you and GL.
I am not sure what numbers I'm drawing here...
Where do we start with the colored mappy thingy? I can make out a 2 4 and 6 depending on where I start...
Last hint. Start on top. 1st number is 2.
LOL, @jillydoc...I was getting 9, 3, ?....
Oh Gawd! somebody just spoil it, so I can go to bed, please??? LOLOL
SP2OI9LE6R
finally out with no further interruptions LOL
i'm out too
that was.....hard 0___0
yes it was, and I'm still stuck with the scaling...
1 : 25000 ... (1 cm on map ^= 250 m in reality)
Alright, great, but I thought that key is 6 cm in length? Did the math but no cigar...
Could anyone give an explanation for the clock, the paper with colour squares and the a1 b1... drawer, please ? It doesn't make sense for me !
on wall when sd used, take intersection a/1 =>X b/1=> W....
SPOILER
For key = 5.5 cm
5,5 cm x 25000 = 137500 cm on door = 1375m
for clock, on book N(up) =11 and S (down) = 9 put hour in that order (hands of the clock in suitcase opened with 599/hint book)
@Seb,
"for clock, on book N(up) =11 and S (down) = 9 put hour in that order (hands of the clock in suitcase opened with 599/hint book)"
Thank you, but I'm sorry, I don't understand how you get this (yes, I have the clock hands).
thanks seb !!
@pdgph 'N' and 'S' are month names. Think about which months start with N and with S.
Code for suitcase is one of the mountain heights given in the book. You can turn pages there (if you didn't realize yet :))
@arbeitslooser,
Thank you !
On the opposite, I had no problem with the suitcase and the hills heights.
I'm working on the map (behind the panel with philips screws). I was expecting a 3 digits code, but according to the paper with colour squares, it would be a 4 digits code ? I suppose that the first 2 numbers are 2 and 7, but I'm not sure.
*I don't know what tags are to use to post things in bold or to post images, so if anyone could tell me that would be great*
WALKTHROUGH
Go left once. The clue for the first puzzle is in the picture frame on the top
shelf. Click the bottom right of the book case and then click that area again
to see a clue. These are compass directions for the lock on the book case
bottom shelf - West, South, East, East, North, North, East, Green square. So
you have to find a starting spot where you can stay on the grey squares and
follow these directions until you end up on a green.
Once opened get the BOOK and then click inside the drawer to get a MAP CLUE.
Back out and go left, click on the suitcase. There is a clue under the three
digit lock - it's a topographical map that indicates with a triangle that the
code needed is more than 500m. Open the book and flip through the pages until
you find the right elevation. Enter it and get the CLOCK HANDS.
Go left and click on the drawer to see "a1 b1 a3 b3" Back out and click on the
desk top to see a new book. This is a clue for the clock. Back out and place
the clock hands then point them at the correct times for the FLATHEAD
SCREWDRIVER.
Go left once and click on the top panel. Use the screwdriver to reveal a map.
This is the clue for the lock on the table drawer. Back out and go back to the
desk and enter in the letters that correspond to the coordinates.
From the desk drawer you get the MISSING PAGE, and see a new lock. It is set
up similarly to the NEWS on the cover of the book, so associate the figures on
the page with the cover, maintaining rotation to get the right numbers. Enter
these numbers in the new lock for the PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER.
Back out and go left once. Click the bottom panel and remove with the
screwdriver. Now you need to use the map clue with this new map. From this you
will get a number code, enter this in the wall panel for a key clue.
Go left and click on the door panel. Note that the code is needed in meters and the clue is in centimeters (100 cm = 1m). So after you convert the length of the key you'll need to divide by 100 to get the code.
Can someone delete my above walkthrough? Notepad messed up the sentence breaks and it looks terrible.

CODES
Book case panel:
Start (click) on the middle then click left, down, right, right, up, up, right, and hit enter.
Suitcase lock:
The elevation needed is more than 500 but less than 600 (because there is no outline), so it's 599.
Clock lock:
The unmovable hands are for east and west, the ones you place on the clock are north and south. So you have to use the months that correspond to "N" and "S" from the clues on the book - November is 11 and September is 9. Set the N hand to 11 and the S hand to 9.
Desk lock:
The panel that is in a and 1 is obviously an X, less obvious are the W in b1, the Y in a3 and the T in b3. The code is XWYT.
Drawer lock:
The N number stays the same, the E number rotates once clockwise, the S number stays the same, and the W number rotates once counterclockwise: NESW = 5429
Wall code:
This one was tough! The clue shows you have to traverse a total of 7 blue squares, a green square and an orange square. With only 6 blue squares on the map that means one blue square gets crossed over. You don't cross any purple squares. You start from the big building on the north side and need to end up at the small building on the south side.

(sorry, you'll have to copy/paste this into a new window)
Door lock:
The number you multiply to convert by is 25,000. So you multiply the length of the key (5.5cm) by this number to get the answer in cm (137500). The door lock needs the number in meters, so divide by 100 to get 1375.
@ Sarsmi thanks for WT :)
@Sarsmi,
Thank you, your WT is great !
Sarsmi, good work!
About deletion...well you have the incredible power of deleting your posts YOURSELF!
Next to your nickname, there is the timestamp and on the far right of that line, you can see a trashcan.
Clicking that will lead you into a dialogue which lets you delete your post.
Hey arbeitslooser, I don't have a trash can on my post lines, it may be because I have to log in each time through AIM. I never did figure out which way I can stay logged in so I don't comment much since it's such a hassle.
Oh, well now I do since I set up a google account earlier. So I'll just stick with logging in with google. I can't do anything about the earlier posts though. :P

One question for the bookcase, why start in the middle, thanks in advance.
May,
so that the pattern you have from hint fits into the grid (only green at the end).
