The strange symbols (well, to me anyway!) can be read as letters - make a note of what they are as you cycle through, and then used with the ALIANS clue.
I meant ALIANS clue for the red key puzzle (sorry, didn't say). Spoiler below.

I'm still having problems with the yellow puzzle. Tried colors from bed but must be getting the wrong combo somehow.
@coughwife use corners on bed to make squares !

OK, what do we do with the pliers? I've tried combining them to the plug and the cords to no avail.
You use the pliers to get yellow key
Got it! I was using white instead of grey!!
Doh, sorry. I did use the pliers. I'm actually looking for last purple key. There is a spot on the floor, but nothing seems to work on it.

Usually, once I use The key it stays open!
Ha ha ha ...I was all ready to clean the door and use the key....then had to hunt for something to clean...then was so confused when it didn't give me a colored number clue! lol

i been searching room for hint for colours on door need help please.
it ok forgot about those symbols after i used cleaner and sponge
apart from the key nonsense, it was a great game!
And the difficulty: almost medium this time.
The wood/tree picture was VERY hard to solve. (Took me 15 mins)
