Groaaan A number\letter code?
When I saw the Church/War board, I was afraid we were going to have to enter characters, but most of the clues seem to be in Western letters.
(gidday, Leroy!)
I hope somebody joins in soon - the code's pretty tricky.
The closest I've gotten is that the number values are based on where they are in the alphabet picture and the way to get to the next number according to a number keypad on a keyboard but I've tried 5148 and 6148 and neither worked.
Anyone else got an idea?
LOL I opened letter with sword... then placed sword on board... I assume I am looking for one more eye and a cross?
Put sword on War side ... looking at letter clue
(first time around, sword, ?ball, envelope with letter clue)
Gidday Puzzled
Got another clue from letter clue (position in alphabet, drop tens digit)
Get a cross that goes on board -- now what?
Oh, wow, that was quick!
(think eyeballs)
Although that schoolgirl looks rather cross -- is that a bad ending?
Thanks for the clue, Puzzled!
Also, I've discovered that wearing spectacles doesn't help at all when you're playing this.
lol @Emily!
Well spectacles allow me to play without having my nose on the screen ... lol
For the GIRL code:
SPOILER7982SPOILER
Why? See PuzzledinCAs explanation above.
In letter board, if you count from 1-9 and use J as 0, then GIRL becomes the number given by PuzzledinCAs. Much simpler than anything I could come up with. Duh!
HINT to the Church/War poster: (for upcoming players)
Think of a simple assignment, like WINTER - Snow, SUMMER - Pool.
7982
nice game - too short!
@PuzzledinCA: Nope, that should be how it ends I suppose.
We played as the schoolgirl, who is colorblind without her glasses. She went to her friend's place (who is an escape fan) to test out the room we played, but fell asleep in there. Then she woke up forgetting all about it, with her glasses placed in another room.
It's up to each of us to guess how she feeled when she escaped under that condition. =d
