Hi tritebs, nope, nothing after the lab, trying to figure out what 'Surely one of these has the answer I need' means? Are they cabinets, deposit boxes, bureaus, vaults, ???

@potterfansw, first you have to go to a specific site... have you seen the clue in source code?
If you haven't done so already, open the notepad file for clue. Still can't make sense of it tho

well if the clue says they're forcing you to use the wrong sense, then wouldn't it make sense that the answer should be one of the other 5 senses, not hearing? At least that was my first inclination

this may be a silly question, but not sure how to change file extension...
save the file somewhere. I did it in Desktop. Right click and choose rename.
I tried saving the audio file and renaming but it won't let me change the name...
why not? What error you get?
It just won't physically let me. When I right click the audio file, i only have the option to open, cut, copy, delete, and properties. If I select properties, I have no way to edit the name or extension. And I can't just click the name to change it either... I'm sure i'm doin somethin wrong. I've been searchin google for help on changing file names
Click on it to select it, wait a secont (to not double click it) and click it again over the name (not the icon)and you´ll be able to rename it.
Ok... i think i'm gettin somewhere. I managed to open it in paint and got some sort of barcode... not sure what now

7 is actually very easy. Try anagraming all the letters. use http://anagram-solver.net/ and it should give you 4 words... what are those words? As far as perplex, ill have to go look because i don't remember :)

ooh thats good thinking... but there's more continents than that, and i can't decipher which number would be which. On a positive note, in searching for the answer, i discovered that a chiliagon is a shape with 1,000 sides... haha
what about within one specific continent within note says a specific place, so maybe specific areas within? theres gotta be more to it if we had to download
why would they use numbers if it was referring only to places? I thought we had to connect the dots going from 1 to 5, but its an unrecognizable shape
the note does mention the United States...
And it mentions indiana. But I cannot see how these numbers relate to either of those places
it said to use first piece of the puzzle, there was a clue said earlier to hold on to for later, i think that has to do with note, it says to use it to find him

I saved the image on my desktop then searched the image url on google and it came up with a few websites that had the picture, but no help...
found the real location it was based on, however dont think it will really help as its a fictional city on riddle game

that is what I am getting hung up on, I've anagrammed each of the 6 to try to find 4 words...I think I am confusing myself because I see 6 words when I anagram the clusters. maybe I am overthinking this because it is late as heck here.

@Alpaca: if you search for them together, you'll find they have something in common. And there's another one of those not mentioned on the picture. That's what's missing.
ah I kind of see, but im not sure if the highlighted letters make a word...hmm...selecting all give me half letters.....I unno my brains hurt.
