I think in this game the clues have to be found before it is possible to enter them.

@casual: you have to have numbers on each little snowman; you get it when you open the same cabinet as the color os snowman

bottom left ist cotton - if the candle of the well designed candleholder is lit, it gives a code

Pop!! I used the clue from the match box together with the heart clue on the note to open the cyan heart box for the screwdriver handle.

Hi all - I don't get the code under the pink box
I got cotton from the top right, using the lit candle code...put on the tree for the window key!
screwdriver handle is in cyan heart box..the code was in one of the colored cupboards or behind it i think? also you need the paper from behind the cupboard
@annaby: hints are courtains and in the right cabinet same CB

I decorated the tree (and the cotton has vanished) but am still missing two items - the key to the curtains and something which uses electricity
unable to find code for left heart cupboard.. according to windows blinds and cupboard clue, should'nt it be 3458 ? but it does not work

@annaby, you have to open the cb under the yellow box first, and use the key by the windows to see numbers on the curtains. Put curtain numbers in the order shown in yellow heart cupboard.
Check the catfoto's when you're out:)

start with 2nd curtain, then 4th ....

I do not get the purple door...the paper says to do something with the snowmen...I am all confused with that one! Antone have a hint for me?

@nokra, when all snowmen have numbers, use them in the color order you see on your hint note.

@catherine, there are always two ways of reading a hint like "4132".
If you need to change order of ABCD, you can do as you did: 4th letter first, which would be D, then 1st letter, which is A etc and you end up with DACB.
The other way:
4132=ABCD so, number them like A=4, B=1, C=3, D=2, then order them as 1234, which is BDCA.
Confusing, I hope you get it.

I don't get the snowmen clue on the note at all. Can't open either of the cupboards under the heart boxes. Please could someone help?
@divinyl, do you have the clue note? there are 4 numbers in different colors on it. Click on the numbers 1,2,3,4 on the right cupboard (below yellow heart box) to change their colors to the same as the note.
I have the note. If I change the colours to blue, green, red, yellow as per the numbers, it just says 'error'. Thanks for responding by the way :)

matchbox says heart 8614, note shows direction, nothing works. so alone here. what other clue am i not recognizing?
@divinyl, then maybe you are using the wrong blue? There are 2 kinds. You should use dark blue.
@brin, that should work. It is 8614, start on top, and move clockwise.
8 top, 6 right, 1 bottom, 4 left, then press button.

wait, I just came back and wanted to find the other ending and what must I discover after another half an hour? the description just changed and the sentence about the two endings disappeared... :(

I'll admit I was a bit disappointed that Choko, Chai, and Chibi-Nyan didn't play a role in the game, but still a great holiday escape. :]

The key hint got me stumped (above sign, very sneaky!)
Looks that I got best ending first time...yes "she's late but he didn't complain" ... same thing.
I guess other ending will not be that good then...
P.S. I personally only loved the tree through the half of the game, then I HATED IT!
Because I don't like it at all when Christmas trees get as overloaded as this one...
lol @arbeitslooser, I completely share your opinion about the tree. better don't watch the "cute" pictures after you finished...they are even more cheesy.

Out with no help, had to brute force the red number???
for the purple door, take the numbers that now appear on the snowmen and order them the same as on the note.
