Too much champagne for me to play it now.. what a shame, it's a tomatea :)
Good luck and have fun...
Have three puzzle pcs and opened letter drawer for herbarium book.
Need to convert book to left right drawer. 24563?
POOP, use cover for clue, got SD!
uh, POP, not poop.
Removed color wheel with SD>
Merry Christmas everybody!
Opened colr box, have clock weight.
mrtelcom: how to convert the l/r to the number please?
Put weight on clock, need a minute hand I think.
For letter drawer, look at paper under lamp. For LR drawer, look at the letters on the cover of the book.
mrtelcom, please explaine l/r
Oh, color wheel hint on wall is now open for more goodies and leaf hint.
Opened leaf drawer for 4th puzzle piece. Off to use metal thing and screw somewhere??
HE LR
RB LR
A L
R L
....
OPened 4x4 grid with hint from book, got minute hand and another clue.
used clue on number drawer, got puzzle piece (5th) and key.
Didn't get minute hand, looks like it is a lever instead.
Used key, got 6th puzzle piece and a xylophone. That is what lever thing is for I think.
puxxle pieces go on time wall hanging, need another arrow on bottom.
And out...
Fixed xylophone with metal thing, screw and SD.
Merry Christmas, Folks.
I have been staring at paper under lamp for ages and my mind is blank! Must have had too much rum and eggnog!
Played xylophone, got missing arrow thingy.
Fixed picture, got minute hand!
... and OUT!
Great game, especially cool that the hour hand progressed as you moved the minute hand. No other games do that.
mrtelcom - seems like you played this with yourself!!
lol!
Crikey, mrtelcom! The proof is in the puddin', but i must have used over-proof in my Christmas pud because even though you are giving lovely hints, i cant understand even one of them. This must be a signal that its Boxing Day, and i accidentally boxed myself and scored a knock-out. Will try again when the sun comes up, and I've had a jolly good passing out nap. Merry Christmas, and thanks for the hints which i may hopefully understand when im sober. (Thanks Tomatea, Merry Christmas and keep making us happy in the New Year, please)
Merry Christmas To All
@tess the word is TIME. Make numbers from letters
LOL, I am high on sugar from carrot cake and coffee. 10:30 am here.
Ack....THANK YOU PL Barfield. :-)
Sorry, but I still don't get the l/r. To blond?
Don`t understand the colour wheel, could someone explain
HE = 1 letter Left and one Letter Right
same with RB, But A is alone do only Left
Tess your word is spoilersoulspoiler
Colour Wheel - Look at the color wheel on the wall first then replicate it on the box
LRLRLLLLR
TY PeteBarbu
But I can`t move the lower left piece of the colour wheel so how can I replicate it
No time to join in, but I just want to take this opportunity to say Happy Christmas to all my EG24 friends.
You are all stars in the Room Escape World :o)
Snapper - remove the screwed in piece, flip it over, replace and rescrew, then replicate the clue on wall.
Never mind, got it, thanks
Hello, Happy xmas to all, and a thank you to Tomatea!
Um, how to solve 4x4 grid? Help!
Pop! got it!
Thanks! I did that earlyer, but it didn't work.
nice - got it - sohow does 4x4 grid work?
Merry Christmas to all players :)
Thanks for playing.
See you at new game.
TomaTea :)
Thanks TomaTea!!! Merry Christmas to you and thanks for all the "gifts" all year long!
Sue - look at the Herbarium. There is a leaf on the cover, it matches the leaves on one of the pages.
sue try this 1000-0110-0100-0011 when 1 is to press down
I only found 5 puzzle pieces, but solved any riddle except the TIME at the wall. Where did you finde all pieces?
What time to we make the clock at? Midnight doesn't work....
Zoe, look at the picture, then slap your forehead. LOL
POP...brute forced it!
Sahara, one of them was in the books when looking at something else, kind of off to the left I think.
out!
Beautiful game as always! lOVE the music, too!
mrtelcom....forehead duly slapped! lol!
I am really blond! Nothing works for me today! Now I can't get the 4 leaves in place! I did it like in the book at first and then I've tried several other combinations. Nothing makes the drawer opens! HELP please. Make my Christmas Merry too please!
Kees, Cees - use the page numbers the the roman numeral hint on the wall. put the leaves in that order
Spoiler for leaves:
Put the leaves from pages 2, 3, 5 and 1
Stupid me! Oh, so dumb! Thanks Zoe. Now my Christmas is Merry!
@ mrtlcom: Thanks, that was the missing one :-)
And out! :-)
Do we have to play a tune on the xylophone, because just bashing it and playing scales doesn't seem to do anything?
Aha got it - use the number! POP indeed.
Where is minute hand?
Clodagh - minute hand is behind where you put the 6 puzzle strips. Adjust picture up and down to make it correct.
Thanks mrtelcom!
As always, really nice game from tomatea!
Can't sombody make a WALKTHROUGH please ?
Always great games from Tomatea! Got out all on my own! :) Merry Christmas all!
what is the 4 digit code???
POP....
7081
While it's nice that you stop by long enough to say you opened a box, or got more goodies, it really contributes nothing.
WT Pt.1
You're trapped in a beautiful room. It's well appointed, but there's no food, and no radio, and you need some fresh air. Time to escape.
Step forward and get PICTURE PIECE (1) from round table.
Turn right, look at clock, get PICTURE PIECE (2) from books on left. You'll need 2 things to make the clock work.
Turn right, go to right corner, get PICTURE PIECE (3) from above cabinets. Also look at paper hiding under lamp. Follow the ones, then the twos, etc. to make a 4-letter word but not a bad one, like work or something.
Turn left, go to left corner, enter word in upper cabinet! (press white button when done.) get HERBARIUM.
Go to the opposite corner again, and enter left-right code in upper cabinet from clue on cover of book. Get SD!
Now back out, turn right and take a good look at the color wheel on the wall. (You may have to click on it - not sure.)
Turn left and go to the box in the middle. You can see that the pieces move, but the one on lower right won't match up. Use your SD, flip the piece (in about-item mode), put the screw in again, and get the pieces to match the pattern on the wall. Get CLOCK WEIGHT. Back out and retrieve screw from box!
Now return to the color wheel which is now blank. Open drawer underneath, get XYLOPHONE KEY and study sequence of Roman numerals. The shapes of leaves on those pages of your HERBARIUM are your code for...
the shapes cabinet on the opposite wall. Get PICTURE PIECE (4). While you're here, might as well attach the CLOCK WEIGHT to the clock.
Now go to the grid puzzle on the opposite wall, and enter the pattern of brown leaves on page III. Get a MALLET, and a paper to study; this time use the word 'time' to draw numbers.
Turn left, enter number in lower right cabinet, get PICTURE PIECE (5) and a KEY.
Go to the locked cabinet in the corner under cello player. Use KEY, get PICTURE PIECE (6) and a BROKEN XYLOPHONE. Use SD, SCREW and XYLOPHONE KEY to repair XYLOPHONE. Use clue on p. V of HERBARIUM for sequence of notes. Get a WOODEN TAB THINGIE.
Go to the TIME box (between color wheel and grid) and install THINGIE where there's one missing. Select your PICTURE PIECES and work the puzzle. Hint: go down mostly. Table leg won't be visible in completed picture. Grab your MINUTE HAND and turn to...
The clock. Install MINUTE HAND and reproduce the time from the picture you just made. Get EXIT KEY!
I think probably no need for a list of solutions, but let me know if you want spoilers.
Thanks for the WT :-)

Thanks for the walkthrough, the hints left by some players were much less than helpful. Finally out!
All I get is a blank screen !!!!
/$%&$%&$%&
A cofee break, a Tomatea game, and a blank screen!!!
IT IS NOT FAIR!!!!!!
Thanks Tomatea - wonderful game!
And thanks for the WT @just1 - I got stuck a couple times.
Merry Christmas everyone!
The up and down picture puzzle is IMPOSSIBLE. Hint "mostly down" "table leg not visible" I guess is a step in the right direction but ... none of the pieces ever line up - NONE of them. Therefore this game won't be finished by me. Tomatea games are usually not so frustrating. Maybe it's because I am using chrome? I have run across a few games that say not to play with chrome. ????
Hint for up and down picture puzzle:
the top of the clock is at the top edge. the bottom of the table top is on the bottom edge. alight the two middle pieces first and then work with the outer pieces. It eventually opens up.
The painting at the end was gorgeous! It didn't last long enough though. Lovely game even with the frustration of the up and down picture puzzle.
Thank you Just1
I wondered why I never read the word 'easy' in the comments as I would normally read it.
Guess this was a medium-high difficulty TomaTea this time. Especially the HE/RB/A/R/I/UM hint was tough, and so was the pic clue with the cuckoo clock "hidden" in it.
Very nice game - thank you
Very nice game - thank you
I have fixed the xylophone, but I can't figure out what notes to play. I have looked at the page 5 leaf clue, but when I try to replicate that pattern, it just isn't working for me.
Please let me know what notes to play!
