What was for dinner Morgan? ;)

I see #'s on wall poster in first view 6,2,21 but that is all I understand

Well Gayle I made my own beef stew and
it was yum yum, ballymaloe relish is the key!

LOL I see problems here.... So much Japanese and so many codes to break....

Sigh more terrible hand drawing in Nciku for me...

The second of the 2 characters in green (音) refers to sound or noise

The 4 number safe has 4 color choices and numbers 1-5.

But, as everyone has said, need to know Japanese to make sense of any clues.

@Morgan you have plenty of that?

Well, when I first read the thread I thought of some kinda other winds :P

Amazing, almost out, thanks Guru. But could you maybe elaborate on the two jap characters we have to put in that wall "safe"?

Maybe try to describe a little more exactly how they look. Thanks.

せヘ

Searched the internet for explanations, so posting it here to make the game slightly understandable.

Colored numbers puzzle
Combine clues from the text top right corner of pillar and the left calendar.
Text: 横で静かに墨が百つある. Extract the kanjis, then split each of them to get a kanji refering to the calendar + a color. Find the corresponding numbers under the calander kanjis. 横->木(2)+黄(yellow), 静->争(1)+青(blue), 墨->土(4)+黒(black), 百->一(5)+白(white).

1~9 puzzle
Clues from kanjis after solving colored numbers and the right calendar. Again, split the kanjis, you will get kanjis refering to the right calendar. Note down the numbers below. 明->日(3)+月(4), 桂->木(7)+土(2)+土(9).

LRD puzzle
Combining the kanas/kanjis from both sides will give the directions for each row. ナ+エ->左, ナ+ロ->右, 一+卜->下. Thus you get LRLRLRD.

Puzzle behind counter
Clues from solving LRD puzzle and the panel behind the counter. Panel text: 消音 meaning mute, but in this case it's literally removing the kanji 音. Among the 12 kanjis given by LRD puzzle, there are some which contains the kanji within (鏡意暗竜章闇), so click on the corresponding buttons on the panel behing counter.

Picture puzzle
Clue comes from the maroon/purple panel with lots of text. Translated from left to right: "A home was built even though without hands, 6 faces with 21 eyes, 2 legs have grown from the sun(日)." So the answer is bird, die, and moon(月 by extending the strokes from "sun" kanji).

Hiragana puzzle
Solving the picture puzzle gives the clues もの, さし, かく. All hiraganas on left are written with 3 strokes while the ones on right 1 stroke. So we solve this puzzle based on this common point, thus getting the answer せへ.

"2" puzzle
Answer from combining clues from the note "1 1 2 43" and solving the hiragana puzzle. The numbers are refering to the prefectures in Japan, with 2 being the urban prefectures(府) Osaka(大阪) and Kyoto(京都). Now we pick out the kanjis which is contained within these two names (from top left, 1 3 4 6 9).
