Lol, Selfdefiant goes Japanese.
Good game, only tricky part is the abacus. Use the numbers/balls on the right side and the order is from bottom to top.
oh god small tool you are super fast ..you are already out ..& here game is loading .
have sword from symbol box & used it on lantern to get black key
bo stuff is use for rake ...& rake gives golden key
abacus + coloured bottle colors are hint for num# box ..gives scroll
scroll + wall hanging on wall with symbols clue give another 4 digit code for box

I had a weird thing where the jade dragon's middle section appeared out of nowhere on the actual dragon and is flickering. Now i have found the middle section but cant put it in. Will replay later.

same happened with me. Can't place the middle of the dragon.
Since it's almost evidently somewhere very near the end of the game, I don't think I'll bother playing it all the way again.

Yeah, checked the walkthrough: it's the very end of the game, so I really don't think there's too much sense in doing it all over again - and risking bumping into the same bug again...

can't get the color code right. anyone remember what order?
The order was the yars. Height doesn't matter, first the most left one etc.
It's the dragon's head that's flickering for me.
use tab key then enter for dragon, door will open
none is right: highlight the last dragon piece in the inventory, then press the tab key until the dragon is outlined and then press enter and the door opens.

Pretty bad when a selfdefiant game is so buggy that it can't be finished and yet still gets 4 stars.
No wonder the quality at this site is going downhill so fast.

it's more about the name of the developer. Ainars games, for example, almost always get between 4 and 5 stars - although they are basically the same games with different background - beyond boring if you've played 4 or 5 of them, if you ask me :). also, when Hottategoya started these slider puzzle games, he got between 4 and 5 starts for those, although they were nothing more than pimped up slider puzzles, nothing to do with escape games...

middle section flickering for me too :( sad there's a bug that won't let me complete a Self Defiant game!
The TAB key trick didn't work for me :( I got the piece in, but no door opened.
Sorry folks, the wrong version is published, not my fault. It's sad that people can be so misunderstanding. I'm not perfect.

I've tried the abacus numbers every way I can think of and none of them will open the door, anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The abacus number (from bottom to top 3243) is used below the mirror/fishtank, in the room right next to the abacus.

One of the 4 digit numbers comes from the picture of the flower - you need the scroll which translates the japanese characters to numbers.
I've hit the same bug with the flashing dragon belly. Can't place the bit of dragon I've got. Never mind. Would be churlish to hold it against you when you've made so many great games AND you've just brought back sneaky super spy guy, on my birthday!

Thank you SD for coming back and fixing the problem. Apologies if my comments were upsetting, but having to play a Self-Defiant game that wasn't 100%, was really....surprising. And, as you say, you didn't publish it, but as your name is attached to it, you must realise that this will be attributed to you anyway. I came back, hoping you would see these errors, so that I could have another go. And now I will. :) Because I love your games. Always.

My last comment was a little strong, but I feel strongly that selfdefiant and Ainars, and as a matter of fact ALL game authors put so much effort into their games, and we are so very lucky to have this wonderful site that allows us to play FREE games! I know it's a matter of opinion on both sides of the issue, but I just don't understand why someone would want to be so mean-spirited as to trash someone's good efforts to give us so much fun entertainment!

i have sai and a ying yang ball and stuck
i think ying yang goes on a green box but cant remember where i saw it lol
it ok found it have ist part of dragon.but wat to do with sai
once i figured where to use sai rest was ok and out,had no probs with placing the 3 parts of the dragon
Love these! Although I have to say, I was thrilled to have my Chinese skills come in handy when I unlocked one of the safes.. until I got to one of the last rooms and realized there was a translation available anyway ;) Oh well, it was still a lot of fun!

I just played the game (I didn't have internet the last 4 days) and it was really good and there was not any problem. I agree with Zoe's comments about people who play the game and the same time keep murmuring about bugs and faults. Guys, you have to remember that a person makes them and mistakes might happen! Selfdefiant is the best game maker and there's nothing to charge him for...
