I had a weird thing where the jade dragon's middle section appeared out of nowhere on the actual dragon and is flickering. Now i have found the middle section but cant put it in. Will replay later.

Since it's almost evidently somewhere very near the end of the game, I don't think I'll bother playing it all the way again.

Yeah, checked the walkthrough: it's the very end of the game, so I really don't think there's too much sense in doing it all over again - and risking bumping into the same bug again...

Ainars games, for example, almost always get between 4 and 5 stars - although they are basically the same games with different background - beyond boring if you've played 4 or 5 of them, if you ask me :). also, when Hottategoya started these slider puzzle games, he got between 4 and 5 starts for those, although they were nothing more than pimped up slider puzzles, nothing to do with escape games...

ReplyDeleteOne of the 4 digit numbers comes from the picture of the flower - you need the scroll which translates the japanese characters to numbers.
ReplyDeleteI've hit the same bug with the flashing dragon belly. Can't place the bit of dragon I've got. Never mind. Would be churlish to hold it against you when you've made so many great games AND you've just brought back sneaky super spy guy, on my birthday!

Thank you SD for coming back and fixing the problem. Apologies if my comments were upsetting, but having to play a Self-Defiant game that wasn't 100%, was really....surprising. And, as you say, you didn't publish it, but as your name is attached to it, you must realise that this will be attributed to you anyway. I came back, hoping you would see these errors, so that I could have another go. And now I will. :) Because I love your games. Always.

ReplyDeleteMy last comment was a little strong, but I feel strongly that selfdefiant and Ainars, and as a matter of fact ALL game authors put so much effort into their games, and we are so very lucky to have this wonderful site that allows us to play FREE games! I know it's a matter of opinion on both sides of the issue, but I just don't understand why someone would want to be so mean-spirited as to trash someone's good efforts to give us so much fun entertainment!

I agree with Zoe's comments about people who play the game and the same time keep murmuring about bugs and faults. Guys, you have to remember that a person makes them and mistakes might happen! Selfdefiant is the best game maker and there's nothing to charge him for...
