Oh, the paper is in katakana which I can read (since it's "kanji-free" :P)
It's gemstones:
1 garnet, 2 amethyst, 3 aquamarine, 4 diamond, 5 emerald, 6 pearl, 7 ruby, 8 heridot, 9 sapphire, 10 opal, 11 topas, 12 turquoise.
However, the code given on the TV can also be found if you can't read Japanese. Simply go top-down.
It's one digit, two digits, and one digit = a four-digit number which is to be entered right of the door.
?? Found a red key and out. No code needed? is it?
Red key is for safe.
Try to replay...this looks like a bug.
Another hint: PC is OFF and must first be switched ON. :)

Two papers...
- 1 in book
- 2 in small bolted box (open with SD)
Clues are on there. One of the papers needs a pencil, another .. will accept the "Escape Cafe method" ;)
NOTE: PC code is not for letting you into the PC, but to control something else in another side of the room. :)

There really isn't a language barrier. The thing you enter in the PC is written on a paper. First there is a hint paper that says PC something in Japanese gr8. The explanation is written on another paper (gr8=) and it's what goes in the PC. Then you'll be able to see TV hint.

Prufrock, TV hint is indeed not a language barrier on condition that you are willing to do a 1 : 1 comparison of katakanas until you find a match with the TV clue.
But for most, being forced to do such a comparison in a language they can't read IS already defined a language barrier :)
@raasti for use of scissors, look under bed :)
The hint on the TV shows the name of the gems in the same color of the gem. This sort of eliminates the language barrier for that clue.
But I wouldn't have known they were gems if it wasn't for arbeitslooser's translation at the beginning.

Daughter Escape Walkthrough
So, we're the parent and the daughter's locked us in her room?
(I guess we evil parents have been making her do her homework?)
Anyway, I haven't written a WT for awhile, so here goes

Click on the daughter a dozen times or so for a long conversation in Japanese
Finally the game starts:
The door is locked (?!)
Next of door you need to enter something

Go left to the tv scene
There's a red SD under it -- this may come in handy
The blue safe is locked

Go left to the bed scene
Waste bin has a BOX screwed shut
Take the box and use the SD to get PAPER #1
Check unter the bed and find a pink PILLOW

Go left to the desk scene
In the desk drawers find a SCISSORS and a LIGHTER
By the plant find a PENCIL
Check out the books and find PAPER #2

Now for some more inventory work
Use the pencil on paper #2 for PC CLUE
Use the lighter on paper #3 for gr8 CLUE
Use scissors on pillow for RED KEY
Look under the desk to find a power button
Combine the two clues to enter a word on the pc -- this turns on the tv
When you look at the tv, you see three strings of characters in green, gray, and blue
Use the red key to open the blue safe for 12 months clue (birthstones)
Take a screen capture of either the tv screen or the last clue paper
Match the symbols to get the numbers for the exit code
(Your really only need to look at the first symbol/character in each phrase)
exit for another conversation with the daughter
