For level 2; search (Google images) the second pic and it will give you a five letter word easy to connect with the first pic.

Nvm. found level 13 with the size of the left pic. Guess it´s my poor knowledge of English I don´t see how it connects to the right pic.
Level 13 is nasty....the person holding the pen is making an appointment perhaps....and a 30cm ruler is how low long in old lengths?

on 12 , what do i need from the pics ? for the 1st one sting ? and whats the 2nd battlefield?

12 - the second picture I think is a type of salute
Level 2 is a movie. to search the image, right click on the pic, select copy url, go to google and select images, click on the camera icon in the search bar and paste the url.....you will find the movie

I don't see a single hint for level 1. I tried rootbeer - that's not it. Roots and barrel. Plant and keg...I know it's probably really obvious, but I'm a dunce when it comes to these...
In your first line the answer is already there Zoe, but you connected it with another word.
@Zoe, your first try is really close... think of the ONE separate word that links root and barrel (look at your first guess :D "root ____ , ____ barrel" )
@small-tool I got those two words, just can't figure out the connecting word... more hints? :D

soooo the hint for level 3 (angel and tank) is "the first word lives in the second word. I don't get that at all. How can an angel live in a tank? Very confusing.
I did get #2 by myself, though - give me a little credit - lol!
@Zoe, the "connecting word" usually lives in a tank :)angel is a type of the thing that can live in a tank
The angel.... lives in the sea and what animals (probably that one as well) do you keep in a tank?
Jen - thank you! I got it!!! My brain doesn't work that way at all. I thought the first WORD was included in the second WORD....whew!
Having said that....#4 just popped into my head immediately. I guess my brain is all mixed up!

For level 13 the left pic is all about the regualr size of it.
The right pic is a bit difficult to explain without giving it away. But it's not about that specific number. It's about the writing part.
Answer is a 4 letter word.

Level 14 is easy and from 16 till the end is just about previous answers.
15 might be a problem so here some hints;
Left pic (not sure if I used the correct hints. I thought of another, more Italian, name for her and combined that with a Beatles song to see it is a four letter word starting with L).
Right pic. Forget about the knitting or so, it is just the body part you think it is.
