Obviously getting my maths wrong. I think the lbs drawer should be 3lbs 2oz.
anyone here? It really has maths this time, which is the 2nd hatefull thing (after soduku) for me. But, I'll try it cause I'm a real fun of Selfdefiant.

Silly me. Was treating the bits after decimal points as ounces not fractions of ounces.
Lots of rooms. Hard to remember where things are! Have the shapes code but can't find the box to enter them on!

5 letter word is an anagram of initials from family photos.
I added the quantities of oz which are equal to lbs, but it's not accepted.

First? Found many codeboxes, but no clues so far...
Add the fractions of ounces first (=1.2oz) Then add whole ounces to that (1.2+9+14+15). Then 'convert' to pounds.

Doris - there is a hint on the box saying LBs - meaning you have to convert the ounces to Libras (you can find the conversion rate in the green book)

I think the cleaner was in a kitchen cupboard. And I still don't get the maths. Of course, it was the only seen I used from walkthrough

Got a magnet, a pair of glasses, small screwdriver, cleaning fluid but no cloth to clean so far...
The maths is not that hard.
If 16 Ounche is 1 Pound then 1 Ounche = (1 / 16) = 0.0625 Pound.
Add all Ounches from the yars (9.4 + 14.1 + 15.7) and you get 39.2 Ounche.
And the last step is simply 39.2 x 0.0625 = 2.45 Pound.
With the glasses, you can read what's on the red drawing-board. It's (inverted) clue for the 4-number box.
AARRGHH! I got! I found! I have!. Where is everything? I found cleaner in the laundry room and nothing else. I see three paint colors that correspond to the room before but not sure which goes where. Which is highest of the red, green blue things. PLEASE give better hints!
evans - the paint pots relate to the hanging things. So I think the green paint pot had the least paint so that needs to be lowest. I think red goes to the top and blue somewhere in between. That gives you specs to look at the etch-a-sketch.

I think the cleaning cloth came from feeding the cat and then in another room the cloth dropped down or something like that.
I think the screwdriver was used on the boiler heating thing and the hairpin was used as key somewhere.
Use magnet in shower to get paperclip. But where to use paperclip? And the SD?

Paperclip/hair grip opens little box in grandma's room. Need the blue key to get int here. (Need sd to get blue key.)
easiest with the weights, just add them all up and divide by 16.
Can't get the RGB things to work, where are glasses when they are set right?
Green, red and blue pots: stripes are hint for blue, green and red things left of photos.
Photos (initials) are (anagram) hint for 5-letter box.
Once you put the cat food in the dish, the cat immediately comes to eat it. The cat was sitting next to the exit door, which is where the cleaning cloth will be after you feed it.
out, had to watch WT to find what to do with gems, no idea how I missed it, sure I had clicked absolutely everything
you need the blue key first to use the paper clip. The blue key is in the laundry room where you unscrew the panel with the SD.
I think the SD was behind the shapes box in the kitchen...

fun game, math a little tricky but I opened the calculator added everything then divided by 16.
got my ist item a blue key but where to use it
ok found where to use blue key have used them got number code,cleaner and cat snacks
have placed 2 diamonds,wat to do with magnet red clues nothing there about it.

Good game. The only thing to improve it would be a map. I found myself running around in circles at times.

Gems placed in secret safe (sneaky). In the room with the plates on the cupboard, move bottom left one and there is a button.

How were we supposed to determine the word? I guessed it was based on the photos, but there didn't seem to be any reason behind the order of the letters.
after the gazillionsth click on that bottle i finally got it (thanks Doris for the hint above). magnet is used on bath tube to get key out of the hot water.
