JBG Riddle is another free online riddle game made by JBG. "This is my first riddle so I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed creating it." What a surprise - I'm stumped on level 9.
jbg - I'm already giving you 5 stars on this one. It's a great game! I like playing with just hints and not spoilers. Spoilers would ruin a game like this.
Having said that, I need a rather large hint for 9...anyone?
On level 9 this text part is very important:
Just look at those scores!!!
For level 8 do I count barrels by floor? I don't notice anything.
So do I match the score numbers to letters somehow? And I assume I should add a 1 at the end??
Verito: how many barrels are on each level. Look at the number you write down and google it...

No numbers to alphabet yet. First see a method between those two lines of numbers and then notice on the dots should be numbers too. And those numbers you can make letters to get your answer.
@Zoe: Try and relate the two scores together somehow.
Verito - start at the top level...
Well, I see that there's an 87 in each score. That's about it.
And a 15 in the other score. Does it ring a bell?
Verito - did you get level 8? If not, just use the last three numbers and put a decimal after the first one of those. Then google it. It's a kind of famous mathematical number. The word is two letters long...

just look at the first two digits of the top score and the first two digits of the bottom score. You can't think of any way to use those top two digits to relate to the bottom two digits?

Level 5 is kind of tricky. Try to break up the words somehow and then count.

That's the right method Verito, but after using 8 and 7, the next one will be using 7 and 5 from the top so there will be more numbers than what you have.

dee cee, look at the 3 islands and try to see a pattern, then you can get the hidden pattern to pick letters with

Thanks for your compliments. I think a big reason is because a lot of people don't like riddles and they rate the game without even playing it. The rating doesn't really bother me though. All i care about is if the people who play it have fun or not. :)
I can't find a way to pick the letters from the chessboard. And I agree with Zoe.
Verito, move like the horse (think chess) and follow the path of the snake, look at the pic to see the basics of the path

Use the text to figure out where to start. Follow the snake to know the path to take. There is no anagram so you will know which way is right.
Well I can get 17 letters...but not getting anything to work... so must not be noticing the correct patterns.

Try looking at all the rows as a string of pipes or no pipes in each pic

On 11...do the islands overlap then? As there are 17 pipes?
The islands do not overlap. Look at it as a kind of sequence. So what would be on island 4 ?
Can't get the last bit of level four - the one with the numbers in the text and 'read it'. No idea what I am doing/looking for. Any help out there? Thanks in advance - I love these riddles, but I am useless

On this part, just look at the pic, the numbers on the pic are in the shape of 4 letters (no anagram).

I must have learned some lessons because i have been able to get to the end part of lvl 4 without help, but after two hours of adding 3's, minusing 4's etc....i still cant get any letters AT ALL. Am i pretending to see the word and doing the adding and minusing of those numbers, or am i still using the W word? I have got myself into a completely confused muddle and need a hint of the 'please tell me what to do' kind.

Thanks small and EP. My problem is...I could easily see how one W word became the other W word...what i cant do is make the C word into another word. I dont know why..but i just end up making doodles..and NOTHING that looks like a letter. I think im misunderstanding something VERY badly.

Hi - I'm back, but have to go fairly soon. I figured out level 9 finally. The answer is an anagram of the letters you get.
I'm now on 10 and have the first word, but am getting lost on the chessboard for the second word. From what I can see it starts with either a z,i,m or o. If anyone can tell me which one of those letters is correct, I can move on...thanks!

I've got the same problem Clio had. I can figure out how to get from the first w word to the second, but none of my answers are working: I assume you add an 's' and it's an anagram of oznes + warp/wart.

On 11, is the middle island an X?

It looks like an X, but that's not important. Those 3 top islands aren't letters, but a method.
Try to find a pattern (like in a sequence with numbers or so where you have to find the next numbers).
So figure out what happens when going from island one to island two and then to island 3 and then do that method on island 4 to pick letters from the grid there.

lucia: The green mushroom represents something in the mario games. It gives an extra "something" combine the first part answer with that second part (think of the cat and what happens to it if it gets hurt).
Level 5:
That green mushroom gives mario something in the mario games. Combine that with the number you have. It might also help to look at the picture of the cat for inspiration. :)

Pichi, notice the ... after the 2nd score? try to do something to the numbers of the top score to get the bottom numbers, then complete the series after the ... and use that part to convert. Don't overlook the text hint too.

pichi, add the first and second numbers of the top line to get the first number of the bottom line, then add the 2nd and 3rd numbers of the top to get the 2nd number of the bottom, keep going like that to the end
pichi: 8+7 = 15. Do you see it?
Zoe, try writing out each island like a string of morse, . for a barrel, - if no barrel. then look at the 3 strings for each island and try to project what the 4th island would be, that will show you which letters to pick

Zoe, do 1 island at a time, . and - might make it clearer
pichi: there is a trick part: the numbers that are not there as you go along and add them up will be translated into letters, but remember that there should also be a #1 added to the beginning (or when you get the word, add an extra letter "a"). The answer is an anagram of SEVEN letters (not six).
I still can't figure out 12. Is it very obvious? I tried the invisible line 'there' where the pic name says but got nothing.
Verito, start at each letter and move only in the direction of the arrows and only once for each arrow

I think I get the pattern? The first row has no dashes, the second row has one dash between the dots, the third row has two dashes between the dots, so the fourth must have three dashes between the dots? How does that relate to the grid with letters? I know - I'm hopeless...yet determined!
Zoe, apply the 4th pattern to the grid, keep repeating it until the end, pick a letter for each pipe (dot)

I have read that there are two words, and I can not even get the first.
One is with the horse and the other is with the snake? this is very difficult for me, someone please help me? Thanks

you have to know in chess how the knight (horse) moves. Then you start at the "S" at the bottom of the chessboard, and end where the other black dot is on the upper left of the board. That spells the two words. The knight(horse) follows the shape of the snake on the board (S). I hope that helps.

In level 12, any hints please? I know it's with the keyboard
pichi: follow the directions of the arrows on your keyboard for each letter on mario. The first letter is F, and there are two arrows that go up and right so go to F on your keyboard, and go up and right...etc.
The keyboard has to be a "qwerty" style keyboard.
pichi: once you get all the letters, it's an anagram. One of the best anagram sites that I use is "winscrabble.com"

You need to change each letter to a different letter. Every green arrow is important in picking the right letter.

Clio - I'm where you are - I've got that 8+7 =15 and 7+5 = 12 and 5+8=13 and 9+2=11. So far the unused numbers are 3 and 5 = the 1 we're told to add, but now I'm totally stumped. Again!
