got a knife from original box now by entering new 4 digit code
i think i killed the guy in the mirror, but now I'm stuck again

i really don't get what to do with it though. i'm sure the roman numerals have a significance...

Hm, it seems if you use the same code to open the box too many times the demon behind you will get you. The blue circles tell you how many chances you've used up.

i guess if you enter too many wrong codes on original box, you die
yeah, you're right, it's wrong codes that kill you.

I can't imagine what the little wavy symbol and up / down angles mean (bottom right of the mirror)

Huh, I think it relates to mystery box, but doesn't say anything about the middle row.
I'm pretty sure they relate to the box -- top row and bottom row, but no ideas about the middle row.
There is a hotspot at the bottom right of the mirror, zoom there

opened mystery box and got a paper
OMG opened the box
The bottom right turning thing should have the "foot" pointed up and left. I fiddled with the 2 in the middle row until it opened. I believe the left was pointing in the 8 o'clock and the right pointing at 4 o'clock.
Now have a piece of paper

same way Andrea did. got the top and bottom rows according to the picture frame (bottom right dial should be in the 11 o'clock position...I kept trying with it at 4 o'clock). then the middle row was trial and error. i believe the middle right dial was also at 11 o'clock. i think the left middle was at 7 o'clock. i just kept trying different combos and it popped open before i knew what i did
this paper has me confused...don't know where to put it

by the way if you die and hit replay to do the game, everything is glitchy. if you die, have to refresh page to play properly

if you enter wrong codes and switch off all the lights, then you can enter to the mirror that demon used to be. After a trailer (long trailer) you escape!
I don't like this. Only change the language is something good. playability is bad!!

Yes Guilherme, I wonder if the "horror" in "horror escape game" actually referred to the horrific gameplay ;P
