Found a magnifyer, but where to use it?
Used the magnifier on the 3 pictures around the fireplace. Got the letters SO RR OW, but SORROW does not work in the box above the fireplace.
Coulourcode from stairs doesn't work on dots on pillars....
Stuck with the SO RR OW hint as well, got an orange gem by pressing the colors on the columns in order

Used the color code from the stair railing on the four colored buttons on the pillars to get orange gem
the color code works, I had to do it 2x though, maybe because I pressed randomly the colors the first time I entered that room

the panel in the room right of opening scene in now open, we're suppose to input 3 sets of colors and I'm guessing it has to do with the DEW YEN END hint, but not sure what color is D or E or N

In stair Scene the White button appearswhen you click on the panel right of door

Very stuck now and going in circles.
I think the dew clue is for the panel that opened after pulling the switches down, but no idea what color the letters correspond to

The knife is used in th Gold key room on the wall, and after having the purple key itis used again upstairs to cut the rope.
Don't forget to keep using the flashlight.

The clue for DEW YEN END was 'last but not least' - use the last letters of each colour.

I kept that first square of inventory open for a map for a really long time. I guess you don't really need it with such a small grid, but it's nice for the "scratch paper".

I don't normally do these, as they are almost always the same things with some odd errors (later corrected.). Now there are misspelling errors that aren't even corrected.

thank you SD for all your games,i love them,but this is the first time i have trouble with this one, at the beggining my orange and red gemas dissapeared when i took them,it says " empy your hand" but i havent got anything,it seems as if the gems were invisibles,i play all the games on chrome and never had trouble,thanks again for all of your (or may i say "our") games ¡¡ pat-e

red gem in room with stairs. hidden button to right of door. I swear I clicked every pixel and there was no hot spot but eventually it showed up so whatever.
I had the same problem, my gems vanished when I clicked on them. Such a shame because I always love these games. Please let us know when it's fixed so we can come back and enjoy your game!

I don't know why I bother trying to play SD games anymore, they are almsot always buggy, whcih I don't understand because they are always the same thing every time...
This time I get all the way to the end and can not take the last gem out of my inventory (yellow one).
I am not a beta tester, and I resent being treated like one by lazy game makers.

I have found all the gems early, but I cannot get out, I couldnt find any slot for gems eventhough I use the flashlight. Why? :(
Same here. Got all the way to the end, went to place my last gem (yellow) and couldn't pick it up from the menu. What a bummer - never had a game I couldn't finish before. :( I'm using FF in Linux, if it matters. Same thing happened to my husband - we play simultaneously - and he's using the same browser/OS.

First time I played (earlier today) I had no problem. When I heard there was a map I had to play again. This time I had the same problem as the others, I couldn't pick up the yellow gem to place it in the room.
I also never found a map.

Only one glitch for me - I can't pick up the yellow gem from inventory to place it in room A. Other than that, it was challenging and much fun.
And a HUGE thank you to Farmwife, as I would still be stuck with the "dew yen end" hint were it not for you.

SD my yellow gem is stuck. their is no pointy finger on it when I roll over it, just an arrow. all the other gems I was able to place. the yellow gem is in the 3rd box on the 2nd panel of the inventory. thanks

After having all my gems, I can't use the yellow one. I can click anything in my inventory, but not the yellow gem. I'll refresh to try it again...

This had the promise of a great SD game, as usual. However, like others, I couldn't get the yellow gem out of my inventory to place it. Also, the game website kept going down. It's down again now, and I think I'm just going to give up.
This is unfortunate, because I love SD games!
Got the same problem with the yellow gem but well, after three more clicks I would have been out anyway. Surely SD will fix it soon. The rest was fun and playable without a map. I wouldn't have found that white switch button on my own, and that colour order with last instead of first letter was very sneaky (but still logical with the hint).
For Bill, I have answered him a few weeks ago and I don't want to waste another minute of my lifetime. Let's hope some day he will stop banging his head against the wall and leave out the SD games.
