Opened hourglass box for a key, hint is in drawers and chessboard.
I'm game
Got metal rod, now in another room.
Just a warning to be prepared when you solved the "Heart" puzzle.. my heart skipped a few beats and I almost dropped my mug of tea :)
I opened the ‘G clef ’ box and got a heart candle.
What's next?
@crook
Next is you tell us how you opened the G clef box.
I could open the ‘ Yin and yang ’ box.
Crook, put all the candles in the holder and light them up to get the solution for Heart puzzle
@bill, clue for the Music box is in that 4x4 grid in the piano room.
Solve the grid (all numbers in rows/columns add up 34)
@mhtyhr
Yes, I know.
I was being sarcastic.
What a Great Game .. it would have been much more fun without the walkthrough included though .. one can't help but peek at it when necessary :-) .. i don't know if this is a good idea by Gotmail !
5 stars + anyway !
Star clue was tricky.. took me a long time to figure out that we need to use the envelope at fireplace.
Great game though. Love how logical all the puzzles are.
Could have done without the eerie wax figure :)
That was enjoyable, though I was thrown off by the fact that sometimes I could get in to the piano room before finding the key. Sometimes the door was just open and sometimes it was not. Bug perhaps? Fun though.
Hello!
please spoiler for Ying-Yang box.
i just don't get it...
6654+1223?
thanks
@unknown : fish is in reverse order I believe
Have a metal rod, how to proceed?
Ok, got it. Use rod at bottom of drawers
POP! completely missed the 2nd page of the book with the morse code.
@mhtyhr thanks for the envelope clue.
@unknown, combine the 2 parts, like a digital display, you need to turn the number you get upside down.
Excellent game, although kept forgetting where the clues for each bit were, must have visited them all about 15 times
I dont understand last code: DOGS
9538 (from star paper, left cabinet in piano room) doesnt work
i have no idea about chessboard and the position of these pieces...pl help with it if anybody still around :D
for chessboard there are 2 hints in book in left up drawer , a hint in drawer bottom right, and look pieces places in another room
black queen in D5 =7...
stuck with code NE SSW NNE ESE, probably for Arrow box but???
* in book middle left drawer for chessboard
Jeez, has gotmail got lazy?? I love the games but the puzzles have become easy. And the remedial graphics as well. I am becoming disappointed...just me I guess.
I'n going to go play some older Tomatea's
I still give it a 4....freakin yin yan puzzle....I was wayyy over
thinking it
@Seb : Use the NE SSW... clue for orrow box. Just turn the triangles, pointing to these directions
Yes Yannoche, tried , put NE on up right (on 1 as a clock), but how SSW NNE and ESE?
try to put on 8 (as a clock) for SSW but no works
Pixel hunt: Under chest of 6 drawers
out now but read walkthrough
(never thought SSW on 7 instead of 8 as a clock)
thanks Yannoche for help :)
Ah, forgot about the stitched up dining room chair.
Also had to read WT
I would NEVER have found the drawer concealed in that table...sneaky!
...and finally I had to read WT again since I've run around in circles because I couldn't find where to use that wind-up key! (Do "screwdrivers" look like this in Japan? Wow.... ;))
Excellent game for what I can say!
And a final rule of thumb to the people who have problems with the "fine-grained" directions:
As you might have found out meanwhile, there are THREE positions in a 90 degree angle, e. g. between S and W:
e. g.
S, ( SSW, SW, WSW ), W
So you *cannot* use a clock schema for these, because clocks have TWO positions in a 90-degree angle: 6 o'clock, (7 o'clock, 8 o'clock), 9 o'clock.
And now the rule of thumb:
To not get confused, always remember that the FIRST part will indicate the closeness to a "main" direction:
SSW is closed to South.
WSW is closer to West. (No I don't smoke.)
Hope I was a bit clear...
I don't understand how the letters DOGS were picked from
ODAOPGHSU?
Luin, put envelope on letters
