Now this was one of the easiest Ainars ever. No challenge but a nice timewaster as always.

very very bad game; the same as before, before and before

Lol, why is "the same" bad?
Daily crossword and/or sudoku in the newspaper is always the same, but nevertheless always a nice break.
I for one like the smell of Gongtats in the morning :)

LOVE my Ainars!!! ♥ No matter how big or small or quick :)

I think they're nice little games.

i cant get the code to work on the safe ;(

For the record - ALL AINARS GAMES ARE GOOD.

Tammy, did you cancel what was already there first? Also, the four sets of numbers have to be placed according to how they fit together. I like all Ainars too!

thanks clodagh, i had cancelled numbers first but didnt look at how they fit together!!
feeling stupid now....

Loved the retro game. Thanks ainars.

Classic Ainars, short and sweet.

I would rather play a 2 minute Ainars game than many of the others that we see published that are just terrible. Thanks Ainars.

Feeling stupid. I need a red cat number and another safe number. Any help out there?

I'm so glad to see that so many people appreciate Ainars as much as I do. The retro games are a fond reminder of when I first started playing them - I LOVE these games. They are like little gifts - each time I see a new one I say "Yay - Ainars!!"

Thanks for all the wonderful games - each and every game is GREAT!!

Bring us more!!! I missed the blender on the bed though, that is one of my favorite things in your games.....
Always makes me laugh! LOL

I do not understand how some people who don't like these games keep playing them and playing them. It seems they would skip them instead of writing negative comments. It's simple, if you don't like them, skip them. For me, I love Ainars games and always look forward them whether they are easy or difficult!!!!!! Yeah Ainars!!!!!

"to them"

The whole purpose of comments section is to allow everyone the opportunity to pass along their opinions, both positive and negative, to the site host and the game maker, as well as to share those opinions with others who play the games.

Negative opinions are just as valuable to the game makers as positive ones, and in many ways are even more important. Or at least they should be.

Despite finding most Ainars and SD games repetitive and boring, I continue to play them (or at least attempt to) because the two of them have at least shown the willingness to try new things out in an attempt to keep their games from becoming mondane and stale feeling. Does it always work? No, but I do give them every credit for being willing to keep on trying anyway.

That said, most of the time I can not actually complete Ainars games because they are too small and dark. And lately a lot of SD games have been buggy. But how would these folks know this if we weren't allowed to tell them? We have to allow negative comments if for no other reason than this. What we really could do without however, is comments which offer nothing in the way of useful information. "Out!" "Found a key!" That sort of thing. And the star rating system should just be dropped completely, as it is meaningless anymore.

Well, in fact (according to the rules, see scommenting rules button above the comment box you write in) the only purpose of the comments section is and I quote:
- Please don't forget that comments page is only for talking about the game, for helping others, and having fun about the game.

But luckily it's not so very strict so we can make fun comments too.
And yep, sometimes comments more directed to the game makers (possitive and negative) could be useful for them. But I doubt if a comment like: "very very bad, same as before and before" is very useful.

I like them, but I have a question which perhaps no one will see since it appears the last comment was 4 hours ago. Anyway, are other people experiences a lag while playing Ainers games? I noticed it yesterday too. Objects take a really long time to find their way to the inventory. Much longer than before.

small-tool: I agree with you. Just saying things like "this game is boring" and "very very bad" and such is not helpful to anyone, either the people playing the games or the makers.

I think one of the operative words in the rules is "having fun." If people can only see the negative side of things in a game, then maybe this type of entertainment is not for them. I, for one, do not like to see criticism, no matter how "helpful" it might be for the game makers. It's only a GAME. It's not SERIOUS. Why should we make it so serious???

Josh - I didn't experience a lag when playing. Things went immediately to my inventory...

thank you ainars.
I like your games !!

Thanks Ainars
i love your games
short or long
thank you
Merry Christmas
.......................x

well, I agree that Ainar's games are a cut above many I've seen that look like the same thing over and over, and that negative feedback has its place, or how would game makers know that certain improvements might help?

That said, I did find one part of this to be a bit of a challenge, namely the cat code - and as nothing was said here about it, I leave this for anyone wondering as I did:

spoiler:

click the cats on the walls in order as they appear in inventory, going from room to room to do so, and be sure to click as many times as each one says. Don't forget the reset if needed, and don't spend time overthinking why there was 1,2,2,3 instead of maybe 1,2,3,4 like I did, lol!!!

Nice little game, I liked it. :)

Bill Chinery, first of all, I think mundane is spelled with a "u".

Secondly, I agree with small-tool and Zoe. The comment area is for comments about the game. This is not meant to be a place to express "opinions." Perhaps you should create a forum site for you and others to express your opinions.

As for some of the comments, as you know, answers are not usually given right at first (mostly hints) to give others the enjoyment of discovering clues and solving the puzzles by themselves.

I DO agree with you that comments such as, "Out!" and, "Found a key!" are not always helpful comments, but they can serve a purpose.

Furthermore, (realizing I am expressing MY opinions) the only negative comments that might be helpful are those notifying the game creators about "bugs" in the game functions.

If you dislike aspects of a game, perhaps you could let them know with comments more like, "I would like to see ..x.y.z.. in the game." Instead of letting us all know how awful you think a game is, MAKE SUGGESTIONS on how they could improve on the next one.

Ainars games are never bad, Always thought his games are good, and enjoy playing the games. I always save his games for the weekend, Ainar, keep them coming , your games are the best, and dont listen to anyone, You have a lot of good comments above and we all love you. and have a merry xmas and to everyone.

@ Small-Tool LOL!!! "I love the smell of Gongtats in the Morning" should be put on a T- shirt!

In defense of some of the comments, it is good to let the game maker know when things are getting stale.I understand that these games are difficult to make, but you really shouldn't be using the same cookie cutter two or three years later (although I will still play them).

These games although still enjoyable for me, are mostly only a matter of theme and variations, with the problem solving and puzzles very predictable, taking a lot of the challenge out of it. Abroy and Timefall games got to the point where I would no longer play them.

I realize, however that these games are new to hundreds of people every day. We must bear that in mind, as other games we may seek out that are new to us may be trite to others.

I shall play insofar as long as I still receive enjoyment from them. After that point I will move on, not with complaints, but with many, many thanks.
