Have 10 blue ice things found, a small shovel and a box of matches and have found a bulb, sort of stuck

I need more help. I have 2 bulbs put in two right side sockets and nothing happened. Where is lever you found?
Is there a hint for the door code and the stethoscope, or do we just have to use trial and error?

got into room with the globe, put hook on the chain, but nothing more. ?? and how to use pick ax?
Have you done the colour code at the back of that room Janet? The books will give you a clue. Then you can move the globe and use that hook!
never mind, finally caught book color clue, kept thinking something would appear on the screen
have to click boom three times to move it over hole, then add hook and click chain to lower it and hit green button to raise it
and final door? tried the spoiler above, even reversed it, but no go. where is the clue?
Use the stethoscope in that scene - you'll get bars to the side which light up when you click in the right sequence.
What is the code for the safe? I've tried using 3115 that was on the ice blocks, but that didn't work.

I have matches, two bulbs, a shovel that digs in snow, a hook, a lever who has no effect, and 10 blue things. Stuck.
Things should improve for you Jef if you insert the lightbulbs as indicated by the x on the barrels in the far right room.
I must be blind but i can't find the cloth to clean the ice blocks. Any hints out there ... ?
Chuck - you get the cloth from the room behind the bars in the first scene - you have to collect all the other things in the rooms first before you can open those bars.See the hints about the lightbulbs.

colour is from books on bookcase left to right only the different colours (not the taupe colour of the majority of the books.)

confused here. hook on machine. machine plugged in. globe is moved over. now stuck.....
finally was ablle to make hook move.... clicked on arm several times with nothing happening but now it did.... i wonder why?
