So far have found an orange apple behind one of the stacks and placed it on a stack that didn't have one. That's it!

Leaves on top of the apples are clue to the LR leaves box. Start from where the huge arrow on the wall is.

Again starting from the huge arrow, height of the bamboos is clue for the other LR box.
Doing the LR puzzles give two notes which give hints for colours of apples. Note the position of the door on the notes.
You can click on the two fat shapes beneath the black apple, but haven't found the clue for that yet.
Ah - check the back of the notes.
Could open only one RL door by try and error.
Use code on back of one of the notes to change the black apple to a blue one (still not very appetising!).
And that's all - out now!
Nice game - not too taxing.
Out too but didn't find the clue to open the LR door with eyes shapes. Did it by chance.

I was able to brute force all the puzzles...
I got what each of them were supposed to be, but none of them seemed to work. I actually brute forced my way through the entire thing. :/
uau, first Ninja Motion in months that makes any sense (to me).
Start with arrow...
- check to green tube sizes to solve 1 box
- check for leaf directions for another one
- check for --- - clue on paper to solve puzzle under black apple
- use both papers to put colors
- go out
I don't get the bamboo clue...anyone around? they all look the same size... spoiler please?

Thanks for all the explanations given. I too got some things to work by chance.
The bamboo puzzle makes no sense at all. The tall button is on the left. The short button is on the right. However, Sometimes the short bamboo is on the left and the tall bamboo is on the right. It isn't a "count" either as there are two on each all making four each size.

The "small high" spoiler above does not work. I saw the same pattern (short tall) in the bamboo but I do not see how it translates to solve the lock. I drew a graph of the sizes of each group (S = short and T = tall)

The same as the "small high" answer. I noticed that the buttons are somewhat unresponsive so it may be a malfunction of the game.

- hint RLRL (from leaves ) is use on 1st safe
- and Small High Small High High Small Small High is for 2nd safe and it works

The bamboo spoiler will work. The buttons are a little unresponsive. Make sure that the button turns green for each click. It took me 7 or 8 times to finally get it right.

This could be an issue with chrome, but this game is very unresponsive. I am trying to change the color of the apple that should be blue from black. I changed it to black earlier because I thought there was only one note.
But now it is "stuck" on black. Even if I were changing it to the wrong color I should be able to "change" it. According to the notes it is supposed to be blue. The apple that was placed on the empty tower is orange and does not change but the others do except for the one stuck on black.
Under the black apple, click on the 2 round white things according hint behind a paper and apple become blue
after that you have to change 2 colors on 2 another apples according paper hint (look at the place of the door on paper)

Finally I figured out why this game is called 'Kagamimochi' and what's up with those bizarre "Towers-Of-Hanoi-like sculptures".
It's 鏡餅 (kagami-mochi) and it means "rice cake": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kagami_mochi
And probably Ninja Motion is from a Japanese province in Japan that define the 'New Year' as the Vietnamese do, i. e. the lunar year, which is January 31st in 2014.
(On the other hand, some do celebrate Japanese New Year like the rest of the world, on January 1, anyway.)
