Going in...

loading till 50% .... trying again.

Green thing is SD part, second part is in shrimp sushi, get blue stick.

Use stick on shelf for another sushi.

So far: shushi thing from flor, SD-handle and SD-Top = SD

Used SD to get stick and with stick got the thing on shelf

BTW on stick is hint for RL

And stuck, language barrier too.

From cupboard got 2 other things

No go, will have to try later. Have fun! Leave good hints please ;-)

I put 3 shushi things on the little table

Put liquid on plate for 4 # code.

I used the thing (right side 5 in inventory) on plate and got a number

Got big straw from 4# drawer and the sushi can be placed in different positions.

Thank you Zazie. I've got some kind of giant straw from the 4 digit cupboard.
There must be a hint somewhere that tells how to set the sushis on the table, but it must be in japanese.

oh and forgot: left side in cupboard is a switch!

Click, click, click, on hatch till it opens revealing a big mouth. Is it?
Hoe did you get liquid?

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:13 AM

@Roberto, you're right ! Clicking frantically on the trapdoor was finally successful.

After turning the switch you can take the thing from the left cupboard door. Got now 4 things that I can put on the table but I think we need the right order

It was in the arrow cb in the sort of round thing..

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:13 AM

Use the giant straw on the giant mouth, and the green liquid is gone.

Put straw in mouth for another sushi.

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:15 AM

5 items for the table, but no hint for their order.

thank you Roberto!
Now have 5 things for table

Got nothing from spinning round thing.

Trying to bf the sequence now :-(

Roberto the switch in the right cb stops the spinning wheel, get egg sushi.

aarrgghhh! too late! you guys will be done by the time i load this game!

Ah! Just now I realized code on stick.

The menu (from left to right)
Squid
Prawn
Fish Roe
Tuna
Egg

Thanks Zazie!

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:21 AM

Even if I translated the page to English, everything is still in Japanese. Is that how you guys are playing too?

Thanks a lot mhtyhr!
But what is what???

Hard is recognize each one.

THX mhtyhr !!!!

Don't forget to look for clue near the giant mouth for the final puzzle

I can´t read this clue....

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:26 AM

Same question as Anja's... It would have been a good game without the language barrier.

@Anja,
Egg is the yellow block
White is squid
Prawn should be pretty obvious
Red block is Tuna
Red dots that look like tiny eggs is fish roe

For the black/white clue, it says
Black = 2 times

Also, remember to "turn" the clue to match the view of the buttons

I don´t get the final code, the hint in cb doesn´t work even when i turn it around like the middle part is showing.

Got order for table by myself.
Form inventory: 5, 1, 3, 2, 4

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:30 AM

Thank you mhtyhr,

So, the order would be :

white block - striped block - orange like thingies

red block - yellow block ?

That doesn't work for me.

@Zazie,

You have to look at both black/white clue & the numbered green dots to get the order.
Remember to turn both, and black = 2 times

Ohh i am out, i did not see this clue by the mouth :-) Thx again !

thank you again mhtyhr!!!

I love these games !!!!

@pdgph.. should be right.

I saved my game, so here's a screencap:
http://imgur.com/AdVhzME

2x means to press the button twice?
Don't get it!

@Roberto,
That's right - press twice for black dots

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 5:37 AM

Question: How do I get the game to be in English? I translated the page but the game was still in Japanese.

It's nice to catch a live game and play along :)

Can someone please point me in the direction of the second part of the SD? Have got the green handle already but searching hi and lo ........

I pressed buttons in order from 1 to 6. Pressing buttons 1 and 3 twice. Is it?

I missed the hotspot on the left bottom side of the big mouth!!!

But now I'm out - thanx a lot to mhtyhr!!!

@ Estefania. There's no english translation for the game.

Second part is in the prawn sushi.

@Roberto
That's right - but remember to turn the clue 180 degree when looking at it, so the middle slice thingy match the buttons

Ok! It worked and I'm out too. Thanks!

Roberto you have to combine two hints, beside mouth and in left cb (spinning wheel)

BTW. Tomorrow I will post my new game. Hope you enjoy it!

I didn't know you make escape games too, Roberto!
Looking forward to it.

Bed time..
Monday blues here I come

Doh, thank you Zazie, out now!

Yes I make Coolescapers games. Have a nice rest!

Roberto's are Coolest-escapers game. x x Looking forward to your new game, Roberto.

Normally I do like the Sanpoman games. But again - language barrier! Please explain to me the sense of making games with an English name and with Western Arabic numerals when there's no chance to solve them without Japanese knowledge. I will rate those games one star. There are enough developers who let you choose the languages or label the hints in both languages.

Thank you all for your excellent hints. I had to draw the final button push solution because im left/right deficient. For anyone else who is as well, push: TL x 2, T x 1, TR x 2, B x 1, BR x 1, BL x 1. I think that is correct...but i may have got my left rights back to front again.

I want to thank mhtyhr and clio_rose for the last help. I was able to figure everything else on my own but because of the language barrier could not for the life of me get the food order, and then was still so frustrated to figure out the order of the buttons.

The language barrier is disappointing. It annoys me when some is in English but they throw in Japanese. Stick to one or the other.

Language should not be a big problem in this game. When clicking the sushi in the item list it shows the name in 「」. Then you can match with the name in the picture.

Ty Clio_rose for the button explination....too early and not enough coffee for me lol

Oh sorry, the names are in katakana and kanji. But in the picture the names are in hiragana.

いか=イカ えび=エビ いくら まぐろ=マグロ たまご=玉子

For button the actual one is upside down comparing to the hint.

Order:

...2
1......3
6......5
...4

Note: 1 and 3 press twice

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 7:11 AM

I know nothing about sushi and don't speak Uapanese - so thanks VERY much for the trail of clues and spoilers!

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 7:12 AM

*Japanese*

clio_rose - thank you! I was trying to bf the order of pressing the buttons, but you saved me the trouble!

meritneath and Bat E - I totally agree with you regarding parts of the game with English title and Arabic numbers but everything else in Japanese and no option to view the game in English.

@tautau thanks for the right order, I was putting it in as it is in the CB thanks again Im out finally, thanks to all for the hints.

Love these games but the language barrier can be frustrating. Thanks for all the hints.

       Anonymous  1/19/14, 9:19 AM

@mhtyhr,

Thank you.

And I totally agree with meritneith !

Nice game. Now I'm hungry.

clio_rose I'm a right|left deficient too ! Also need to draw reversed solutions, lol ! Was about to post that your hints for last code didn't work for me, but then it did, weird?

and something last: Japanese is not an international language - yet. The time it will be, we 're gonna learn it and wont complain about language barrier. But for the time being, please upload games which majority of players understand. Thank you.-

I am still laughing at the mouth and the straw!!!! LOL

Please don't stop pistng these games... ...if you don't like it, don't play, if you don't like certain music, don't listen, if you don't like particular TV shows, don't watch! Simple! I find there is almost always someone around who will help!
I like the game, why should I be deprived because someone else objects?

100% agreement with nokra!

BTW....

Can anyone please tell me what you mean by "black/white hint near the mouth"?

There is a "clue" in Japanese ABOVE the mouth, and there is another clue in Japanese BELOW the number wheel.

But I guess I've simply missed a hotspot?

YES! GOT IT!

For those other desperate folks here, I will elaborate on this hotspot:

it's at the lower left of the mouth, at the side wall.

To access it, use the view with the small barrel that previously got the (?)poison(?) inside, and click exactly the lower left corner of the frame in which the mouth resides.

for those who misunderstood: never said DO NOT post Japanese games! In fact I'm a big fan of them, most of the time they are intelligent. But it would be easier being translated IF there's language barrier.

Really hate when these games do nott provide English. Language barriers are buzzkill

It was a very pretty game! I gave 2 stars less than what I 'd have given if there was an english barrier.
Japanese games are really smart. I think Japanese people are gurus on this section. BUT, like it or not most of people in the universe, speak English. I'm not English or American. I'm Greek, but what we learn here as first language -except from our language - is English. Not Japanese, or Chinese, or anything else... And I think, it's the 1st spoken language all over the world,.

Hate to throw cold water on you, but most people in the universe speak Mandarin, by a long shot.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_total_number_of_speakers

Nobody has any bloody right to demand that someone in another country, of another ethnicity and culture, should have to learn *your* language to satisfy what *you* want. The world does not revolve around you.

Try to view tackling a game in another language as a challenge.

Thanks Andrea, amen to that!
BILLIONS of people speak Mandarin. It's one fourth (or third) of the world population, if I remember correctly. To say that "this is quite a lot" would be an undertstatement ;)

But, but, but...the point NOT that the game was only in Japanese! The point is that the title of the game is in English. There are western arabic numbers in the game rather than Japanese. So...why are parts of the game (small parts, that's true) in English? Why isn't the whole game in Japanese??? And, therefore, if parts of the game are in English, why can't a version of both Japanese and English be posted, and give the player a choice what language to use...just my observations, that's all...

Chipping in..

I just want to point out that it's not the purpose of this maker to have their games played by everyone, including non Japanese speakers. Sanpoman didn't post the game here.. escapegames24 user did!
A lot of these makers are escape game hobbyist who's doing this for fun.

This game certainly doesn't mix Japanese and English.. the game is 100% Japanese. It's common to include latin alphabets and numerals because those are also frequently used in Japanese language, but that doesn't mean the maker is trying to use a bit of english in anyway...

But I agree that it should be pointed out clearly if language is going to be a barrier, so at least you can decide if you still want to play.

Haha, my 2 cents...

we're superheroes compared to those Japanese, who need actual clues to play their games. We figure them out anyway! Go EG24!

just1 you rock, loooool !!!!

If the world does not revolve around people who speak english (btw it's not my native language), it also doesn't for those who speak mandarin. No reason being aggressive time we talk about language BARRIER. English could be a barrier too for people who don't speak it.Our point is that we 'd like to have options to chose language, nothing more nothing less!

How political correct can one be. If people say they have trouble with the language and do suggestions there are always gamers who try to shut this person up.
Indeed billion of people speak Mandarin, but a lot of the Mandarin speaking people speak also English, but the other way around, the world citizens who speak English as second language don't speak Mandarin.

thank you ca3na for understanding :-))))

Awesome game, the only language barrier I found was the placement of the sushi on the table. Everything else was very clear and logical.

I would love it if these games that had some language barrier could enable a copy paste feature so I could translate it myself.

       Anonymous  10/28/17, 2:27 AM

caught this one from the random section

didn't think to look in about item on the chop stick & didn't move wall panel long enough in order to open it - thx ppl for the hints

& thx Sanpoman for your cool creation ☺
without language barrier, the game would have been much easier, I suppose
