Get rod from AC, use it on clock.
Get second (red) hand from clock and click on clock again to get numbers for drawer.
Red hand used as key on top dresser drawer.
use CAPITALS
put books beside other books then you can change colours, this is how bored i am on a thursday afternoon
Only need the three top book colours - just click on the fourth and the drawer opens. Not a lot of sense in that, is there. Mind you, this was trickier than usual, so I was grateful for your hints Peggy and Handy!

pretty much a walkthrough from all the hints here so no need to make one..... get key from colors code after putting books on table and leave with key through door
Great i was doing alright till i opened top drawer and got bowl of liquid i need to do something with,, totally stuck

A truly useless post, unless WHERE the books can be found was also stated!
Too many people around here leave large gaps in the clues they post!
Totally omitting key elements that must be followed!
I guess they must think that if they can figure it out, then
the rest of the world can too.
Not to mention the "nvm, found it" people who refuse to
elaborate!
I don't doubt they're intentional, how else can they get to
post "OUT" ahead of anyone else?

using capital letters, turn to door scene and zoom on left cupboard. type WEDS and get books, turn and put books next to other books on tall cupboard. now you can click on drawer and input the colors cyan, red, blue and what ever last color is, just scroll through all colors. Get key and go to door to get out. This is a very sad game.
