as I said b4. it gives u what set of numbers u'll need for each code.
example: for the 1st one: 時: hours: my numbers where: 3/4h so 3/4*12= 9! do the same for the rest

is there a particular order to press the squares ? and is the japanese text before has anything to do with it ?
have u put battery on the recorder? After u do that, listen to it then u should get the hint for the buttons around the room. "ニュース デス ニュース デス" "News Death News Death". Also, remember that 北 means north

It keeps mentioning NEWS on the radio (iPod-thing) after you put the battery in and click on it.
NEWS is the order you use to click the buttons. :)
The text is highlight-able. I copied and pasted into freetranslation.com. It's rather entertaining. Something about pumpkins and Kita. lol
The radio is saying.. basically jibberish, but it's all in katakana (a form of writing) so as to be more "cryptic"
If you just translate it as is, it says "news death" but it's just "news" (desu being a verb.. sort of)
The first line is "Iriomote Island" and uses the kanji for "west"
The second is "kabocha" (a kind of japanese squash/pumpkin-y thing, delicious!) which uses the kanji for "south"
Then "Tokyo" which uses the kanji for "east"
And finally "kita" which can be a verb ("came" like "came from tokyo") or "north" depending on how it's written.
That's the clue for directions, news being the direction order.
(When written differently it can say "The pumpkin from Iriomote Island came to Tokyo" lol)
