Log in to play? I enjoy Hooda games, but I think I'll pass.

Get hanger from locker. Use hanger under treadmill.

Come with facebook))

For the red/white/black squares puzzle, when it is correct, a safe appears where the clue was.

I didn't have to log in for this game. I logged in for the last one, so maybe it remembers me and I don't have to sign in each time?

Once is enough)

At first I didn't like the request to access my information. But then I realized my Google account (which I use to post here) already has access to the info requested.

Where is clue for the 16 digit box please?

Back to the game...

I was trying to figure how to translate fruit (from the vending machine) to numbers (for the 4x4 grid box).

(Smacking my head), it's Sudoku. Doh!

OH...I was thinking the fruit as well! LOL TY, Peggy!

I'm glad to know I wasn't alone in that thinking process, nokra.

Yes, there are a few fixed numbers.... :) I hadn't clicked all of them to notice that!

I had already made (voluntarily) an account on one of his other pages... so it is really no big deal for me...I don't see what the fuss is all about!

ran in circles till that too! finally out.

I'm missing something. Don't see a clue for the red/black/white puzzle. Stuck with blue, white and green marbles and muscle pills.

Oh, got it - had the black/white puzzle correct, just didn't look in the next room.

where to put those big red balls??

tried to log in using google account and in the terms it said it would have access to my email....creepy. i know nothings private anymore but come on

I have no problem registering for SD games

Hi all,

Did anyone find a use for the clothes hanger ?

Eznerfi, see my post at 10:59 pm

"Get hanger from locker. Use hanger under treadmill."

Thanks a lot Prggy, Didn't notice your post...Sorry !

No problem Eznerfi, and you're welcome.

The still unaswered question is:

"Why" does HoodaBrain/Hoodamath wants us to register/log-in.

I've seen some posts in the previous game about it being a trusted site and people not getting extra spam etc.
But nor Selfdefiant nor Hooda answered the question WHY

I suppose Selfdefiant can't answer that question as Hooda... is not his site (that would be melting-mindz.com), those games are only published there. Michael Edlavitch should be the one to give us that information.

I remember SD told us here ages ago that he makes his living by creating games so it's comprehensible he kind of sells some games to other publishers, and it depends on the latter's policy what is needed to play.

I don't know either why that login is requested and I'd rather play without logging in. But I can't understand that fuss. Use the same login you need to comment here and play or leave it, but it's not really fair to rate down just because of that. I can't remember the same discussion or rating down for Gotmail games (I wrote that earlier).

For me it's far more annoying when I play a game and realise after 20 minutes that there is a language barrier in an English titled game.

I hate logging in...

I totally agree with small-tool and won't log in for a game.
Why should we log in ? The question hasn't been answered, and I can't find any good reasons for this log in requirement, only bad reasons.

BTW, don't forget that if you connect yourself somewhere with a Google account, you stay connected and Google knows everything you do on the internet and tracks you down. So, don't use a Google account or don't forget to disconnect.
For your privacy, use the Ghostery plugin (available for most browsers) : https://www.ghostery.com/

Just log out when your done playing

i find it ironic people will log into EG24 to play free games but complain about logging in to play said free (SD Gotmail) games.

@DPotts,

You don't answer the question : why we didn't have to log in to play Hooda games and why we suddenly have to.

Gotmail games require to log in (only when they are not translated in english, as far as I can remember), but :
- It's always been like that and it was accepted by most people because they used to be very good games (they are not as good as they used to be, IMHO), in a time where there were not so many games online and when tracking down users was not so usual.
- For Gotmail games, you can use a generic log in and password (that's what I do), so your privacy is not at stake.
- Gotmail log in was only for Gotmail and not for Big Brother (Google, Yahoo, Facebook and so on).

I'm connecting with my facebook account.

how did you make the frame behind the trash? black, white, red?

I did okay. red is not used.

Michael mentioned they wont divulge information "Unless they get hacked" AND they are using the notoriously hacked WordPress software, V 3.81 .. recently revealed to have problems with pingbacks .. of which they have enabled ... great confidence ... embarrasing statement, and not reassuring.

small-tool, I've answered your question about logins several times, there is a lot of reasons. For 1, it screens out all under 13 users, that don't have parent's permission to play. It allows us to use a high score system, and other features to come. You wouldn't be able to comment under the game without logging in as well. Any site that lets you comment, has your email address.

Ummm...was the protein mix useless? I mean, it's expensive, so I don't mind getting free stuff, but it seems weird...

Hi @ kingofkrypton...as I remember, the muscle pills made it possible to lift and place the heavy weights! :)

Well Michael,
- The games that are posted here from Hooda aren't really adult, are they? Besides under 13 users can make all kind of mail addresses without having to give their age.
- There are lots of other games (for example the sneayk spy guy ones) that have a high score system just at the end of the game without any log-in or registration.
- Other features, well, we'll have to see I guess.

And there are lot of sites I can comment on without having to give my e-mail. For example this site. Of course I have to use an e-mail to make some kind of account, but that address doesn't go to the site owners here.

Anyway, was just curious about the 'why' and I guess I missed the answer to that in other comments.
But it's up to you guys to make your games like that and it's up to me to play and log-in or not. And for me that's not. So no more Hooda games for me, but then again loads of other free games to play here without strings attached.

       Anonymous  3/19/14, 8:46 AM

I agree with everything small-tool said, I won't be playing on the Hooda site any longer. Enjoy your decreased traffic.

I choose not to log-in, but that is purely down to laziness. The ad's which come up when opening a game I accept as being par for the course. (the 30 to 60 seconds is the perfect time to make a cuppa tea). Im just too bloody lazy to sign in. The games are not compelling enough for me to be bothered. No offence to any game-maker or provider. I have made the choice not to play.

Oh well, I'll miss playing SD's games, they really are a cut above most of the rest. As far as HoodaMike goes, I don't think I've seen a corporate type more actively trying to unleash the Streisand Effect on himself.

HoodieMike, perhaps?

Streisand Effect? *singing.*......People who need playerrrrssss............are the yukkiest peeeepers in the worlddddd.

Im joking of course. lolol. (came into my head, so i sang it)

OMG Total Drama Island, logging in to post comments about having to log in to play a game. Just log in already and play the game.

I have never ever seen an explanation as to WHY either. Please tell us where you have answered that question several times before, so we can go back and read it.
Until you can show use where to read it.....
How exactly do you find out our age and why do you want to know IF we are UNDER 13. Why are you hunting for that info in the first place? In hunting for it(age) for ANY reason and finding out they/we are under 13~ well that just sounds creepy along with wanting to know our e-mail address. .
So you personally are able to block people under the age of 13?
I have never seen that in a game before either. I have seen warnings that the game may be unsuitable for all ages.
And still that is no guarantee that they haven't lied about their age, as s-t has pointed that out along with the high-score rating explanation.
SO still the question remains as to WHY?
What is your purpose for you knowing that info?
Simple question, yet still unanswered....

And what are we exactly paying for?
Taken from the last game....
Michael Edlavitchs' quote....
"Nothing is free I couldn't agree more, nor is this new game: http://hoodabrain.com/2014/03/18/find-my-keys-gym/
log-in required."

       Anonymous  3/19/14, 9:47 AM

Wow, such a low rating for a Selfdefiant game. Come on people -- I understand being annoyed at having to sign in but to give the game such a low rating without even playing it?!?! You're unhappy with the game site not the game itself. Don't take your anger out on the game because frankly, the game doesn't deserve i

Hooda Games are for little kids anyway, so it isn't like it is a great big loss.

If Hooda Games are for little kids, then why are all the adults complaining that they can't play them.
USA law has a lot of restrictions on sites geared to under 13, we are protecting ourselves legally.

Michael:
Requiring a log in does absolutely nothing to keep anyone, of any age, from accessing your site. To act as if it does is being dishonest. To say it does, is to lie.

Requiring a login is not necessary to enable you to use a high score feature. To say that it is required for that is also a lie.

Requiring a log in is not necessary to enable you to allow people to comment either. To say that it is required for that is yet another lie.

And finally, to say that any site which lets you comment has your email address is so patently false that the word "lie" doesn't even cover it.

That is four lies in your last two posts. And you want us to trust you? Sorry, but that is just not going to happen.

As far as why all the grown ups are upset that they can't get into the kiddie games you have, this may come as a bit of a shock to you but that is not what they are upset about. As you can see by your decreased stats, nobody really cares all that much if they can play Hooda games or not. What they are really upset about is being treated as a commodity rather than as human beings. And that is all on you, Mike.

wow where did my comments go i played the game last night left hints hmmmmmmmmmm

its ok thought this was the one i played last night but this one out today

i dont see why e1 having hizzy fits about logging in it takes couple mins to register then u play.if u worried about spam ect ive recieved nowt since i registered. quite few gaming sites u have to log in it takes secs then u play

great game
getting easier

Totally agreeeing with, Bill
Öne thing to add, last Michael post is not only lame because of a childish comment like this: "If Hooda Games are for little kids, then why are all the adults complaining that they can't play them", but also very lame because of totally not responding to what I, but mainly Larue (she puts it way better than I can) I posted.

I too agree!
And speaking of safety, everyone should check their "Global Privacy Settings panel on Adobe" (if you Google that your settings page on Adobe should come up and click on the pics) to make sure their camera and microphone are properly "asked for" or "denied" and not automatically "on" to be easily accessed.
