  41. Hi EnaGames, usually I like your games, but imho this one was a bit too random and too much of a pixel hunt (for example: where to put the bird to dig for things?? tried it on the sand first because he was a sand bird, but it was on the grass).

But thanks for making these games anyway (and the rating is a bit low at the moment for any game).

And to you fellow with-gamers: here is a game maker that asks for constructive feedback, so just go on and give 'em some. :-)

  42. Hello EnaGames. My feedback is I really enjoy your games. Some more than others. But as of lately some of your games lack logic. But nonetheless, I do look forward to your games.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Pixel hunt ftl, trying get to get stuff to work to see on the walk-through I was on right track but for placing item slightly wrong it would not work really peeved me.

Also some of the misleading comments peeved me too...

    2 stars

  44. I like the Ena Games - however this one was a bit pixelly. Had trouble placing the sticks by the fire and then couldn't get the ropes to go. Also, I can't play at your site. It says I need Flash player 11.4 or above (I have 12). I can play the games from escapefan.com site.

  45. Never been a big fan of ENA games, it seems that people put a bit too much effort in drawing a lot of objects and sceneries, it can be fun sometimes, even with a bit of pixel hunt, but on the whole none of these games are user friendly.
Looking for well hidden hotspots, at times, why not, but, when you have objects, you're pretty sure what to do with it, and you can't because you have to drag them at the exact place which doesn't make more sense than 10 cm on the right, it can really get boring.

    ReplyDelete
  46. where is the wood to make the ladder?

    ReplyDelete
  47. I had another bout with pixely hotspots. :(

    ReplyDelete
  48. Looney, you cut the bamboo with a hand saw.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thank you Pastel Rhythm!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well, first for me it is very positive that ENA is asking for feedback. i am only knowing this from Melting Mindz games.
Concerning your games ENA, I think it is too much random clicking, lots of senseless dragging (i mean once you find any hotspot you have to drag everything you have in inventory there and look if something happens) In a few words i am missing the logical aspect of the games.(btw why there are all these skulls in a green landscape ?)And then the codes (riddles) click, find numbers or signs, find the place to put them in etc....in fact no brain is needed.I am loving challenging games.Like Tomatea or Tesshi.e....look at these and you will understand what i wanna say. Also the interface is an important point there.Just marvellous. But well, it is just my opinion and no harm at all.....And thx for asking !

  51. Hello ENA - I usually am quite fond of your games, but I agree with previous comments here about the fiddly placement for some of the items, and the lack of logic sometimes. This particular game is a typical example of these things. I like puzzles and using my wits (what, at THIS time of night?), but it's no fun if things don't make sense. On a positive note, I always want to have a go at your games, and most often I enjoy them. I appreciate being able to turn the music off, and I like the little 'trrrrring' when I pick something up! I'll try to remember to give a rating more often, as I would usually give a decent star. Oh, and thank you ENA! (By the way, is Ena someones's name, or is it initials? What do they stand for?).

  52. I have not played an ENA game in months. I prefer riddles, deeper thinking than pixel hunts and I do not need a long story explanation. The improvements you have made are admirable, like not needing to click each and every nail to hammer in several, but find stuff, place stuff and that is it.. not my cuppa. I enjoy visual puzzles more

    ReplyDelete
  53. I am with you Purple ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  54. ENA, I really liked the fact that I did not have to pick up each nail and hammer each into the wood; and I did not have to place each piece of wood to form the ladder.

I also like the cursor changing to a hand to indicate hotspots. But I agree with others that the placement of items don't always make sense, and is a pixel hunt to find just the right spot to place it.

I enjoyed previous games where I could turn the sound off with one click, and not have to go to a menu; but I see others like some of the sound effects...

I prefer some of your earlier games, where we had to find clues to solve puzzles to advance through the game.

With all that said, when I see an ENA game, I know I'll like it; (except when it involves birthing). :-)
    Thanks for all your work!

  55. Ena, your games are most imaginative - and I, myself, enjoy the descriptions! I can sometimes play them without help from the other players... they're always fun though a bit mysterious!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hi ENA Games, glad you appreciate feedback.

I always play your games as they're a nice little 15 minute timeout and are neither too hard nor too easy. I have to agree with others on this particular game though, this one was just too much of a pixel hunt and I don't really enjoy games where you have to just collect a bunch of random objects and place them in random spots, it's just trial and error instead of problem solving. I prefer your games which involve various different puzzles and codes we have to work out.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I know what to do but the hitboxes are way too small, rendering the game frustrating. I quit playing because it was much more frustrating than it was fun. Sorry Ena, I tried.
