This looks interesting... and you don't even need a stick for the high pink cabinet!

Already need help. I have 3 papers from 3 wall cbs and i thought that the position of each colored box is indicating how to click the wall pic. But 308 doesn´t fit and for the green down right box i have not the 4# code.

the symbols on the note from the yellow cabinet are Right (first symbol) and Left (second symbol) to use on the blue cabinet.

Yes zoz i opened thisone already, stuck on moving pic and 4 #s.

@Zazie, have you turned off the light and looked around? Seems to be an order for clicking the picture?

If you look at the positios of the colour cbs this could be where to click the pic (for ex. yellow upper left 2,7)

Upps i did not see the light swtich, now i am more troubled than before....more numbers lol.

Zazie, that's it. 0 comes first. Have another paper now

I thought pink was UL corner (15) yellow was UR, blue LL, and the orange 64 LR, but it doesn't work. And what of the yellow circle x39?

2,7 .......... 1, 5
3, 0, 8...... 4, 6

The yellow circle is y yellow O, mayne the O in yellow =5th letter, 5x39 =195 ???
How did you get the 4rth paper ?

Ah, I had 27 and 15 reversed. Thank @Andrea!

the corners still aren't working for me! Drat!

YW, now to figure out this next one -- haven't seen grey or brown anywhere...

Hmmm my pic won´t come off with these numbers, i started down left corner for 0.

I need the 4rth paper lol, where is it ?

Finally it worked, after about five attempts. Jeez.

Because i have not the 46 paper....i guess.

Ohh finally the numbers worked ! tried 6 times.

Starting down left is correct. Try turning left or right, coming back, and starting fresh.

@Zazie, thanks for making me feel like I'm not crazy!
Tried 7371 (27x7)x39 and 2496 (64x39). Neither works.

Does anyone know if that character in the picture on the blue-safe wall is an actual japanese character, and if so what it means? (That's the picture that has yellow-ring X 39 when lights are off).

Hi all,
Have been lurking alot here, but finally made an account to be able to post as well :)
The pink painting has some white (grey?) dots on it. Maybe we need that number?

LOL zoz :-)
No Andrea i have no idea about this...

Now we have :yellow circle x 39, yx7, grey x45, brown x 60.....i am stuck.

I've been trying to see a number in that pic as well, but so far nothing.

Tried to count the letters (brown=5 for ex) and multiplicate them with 60, nada...what is brown in this game ? the pic frames....

The orange in the upper right of the pic looks a little like the symbol for 100, and the plus sign would add 10. I tried 39 times 110 through 119 to no avail.

Running out of ideas, but it is sooo cute to be stuck on a saturday evening lol.

lol @Zazie. But it's still afternoon here and I have things I must do!
Last idea: grey is for the 4 walls. Brown is either a 3 or a 12 for the three picture frames.

I'm stuck as well :) It's not hyaku kanji. I think it's just "modern art" and no kanji there.

OK, maybe sheer coincidence but:
letters in color * number (e.g. yellow=6 x 7), add them up
42+180+300 = 522
9999 (max number on the safe) - 522 = 9477
9477 / 39 = 243.
I just found it weird that this would come out a whole number.

Maybe grey is ONE door (45)

Is it gold, silver and bronze? I've tried many combinations, nothing works so far.

btw, @Anne Ter, welcome to our world... Although you picked a frustrating game to start with!

Yes welcome Anne Ter !
Mako your medal idea is not bad at all, now how to apply it...

Thanks zoz :)
Have been playing alot escape games already, but was too lazy to make an account lol
On the paper, the yellow dot is solid. When you turn off the light, the yellow dot has a hole.... Not sure if it's got anything to do with it, but just noticed it.

Game doesn't load to me. Got only a blank page. Tried Chrome & FF.

the name of the game may contain a hint: Escape of the Four - Box Room

@Roberto, I'm using Safari...

       Anonymous  5/31/14, 11:54 AM

no problems in Chrome for me
maybe this yellow "o" is like in "o", "d", "6" etc? I'm trynig to apply those riddles tricks, but I'm feeling too stupid :D

Thank you too, Zazie :)
When you turn off the light, the outlines of the door are different. That way grey could be 3.
Probably not, just trying to look at everything that's brown or grey.

Mako, you are not alone :-)
Roberto, i am in FF without probs.

Sorry @Roberto, i am on my small netbook and playing in Chrome, working fine.

I've got to leave and get some things accomplished. I know you'll all get the answer in about 3 minutes now!

Tried in another computer. Chrome, FF and Safari and game definitely doesn't load. I noticed you're having problems to get out. Maybe they're fixing the game. Have you tried to open it in another tab?

Suddenly it's loading in all browsers.

So Roberto please help us out with the final 4# code lol !!!!

Haha zoz, or never at all, at least me. Have a great afternoon, evening.

lol@Zazie
Had to walk the dog and was hoping for a solution as well.

Maybe the clue on paper from pic refers to japanese coins?

Roberto any progress ? I am still so stuck !

I don´t know the japanese coins lol

4368 doesn't work as well. Got this by multiplying every circle by 39 and then add numbers.

I already tried so many numbers (have two papers full of math) now i am leaning back and waiting for a superbrain to get me out haha.

5 yen coin is gold with a hole in it, 10 yen coin is cpooer/bronze. But all other coins are silver, lol.

cpooer should be copper :)

hmmm. I hacked the code. But don't know why it's this number.

What number is it Roberto ? I want to compare it with my papers :-)

Got it!!!!
(new) 500 yen is gold
100 yen is silver
10 yen is bronze
5 yen is gold with hole.

500 x 7 = 3500
100 x 45 = 4500
10 x 60 = 600
5 x 39 = 195
Add these numbers and you get 8795

Nice Anne Ter! So my idea was correct. The problem is I completely forgot about the clue "coin x 39", and I was using only the 3 coins from note.

Genius Anne Ter !!! And thx also Roberto for not letting me starve inside this room !!

Thanks, but thank you Roberto to start talking about those coins!! :D

I knew this would be solved by the time I returned. Kudos, @Anne Ter and @Roberto! (The z's didn't fare so well, did we @Zazie?)

hey hey zoz we will have better times rofl !!!

out thx to Anne Ter for her final numbers :D interisting game !!

Ahhh, no language barrier.. just a currency barrier.

and thx@ Z's for help and good comments all the time ! :)

Went out for lunch, came back, and it's solved! Thank you Anne Ter, I'm sure the Japanese people would have it in no time flat, but anyone not familiar with their coinage is totally stumped!

there should be a "Like" button for comments, lol!

Thanks Ann Ter , that was smart !

Heh. Now it makes sense to me why this got such a low rating.
It's as if the author was Polish and we had to "remember" some new Zloty coins.
It's quite a narrow-minded thinking to craft games that are practically only solvable to locals.

Hello E-Addict :-) Can i hope to get another game from you soon ?

arbeitsloser, we always can google, i was too lazy :-)

Well, some people use mobile devices and "googling" might be either too awkward or too expensive. Think of several sites which are rather unsuitable to be used on handheld devices. Might take you ages to find the answer.

True as well.

Unsolveable without knowledge of Japanese currency. Why would I assume those circles have something to do with money!!

1 star awful, game is buggy

Can't get picture! Tried the clues above ten times. Still no go. Tried the spoiler for 4 # safe no go. I give up!!!!
