Hello everyone

Lots of letters, lots of keyholes

paper with lot of letters (trash bin) and 2 dolls

Loading.........

Butterfly (lower right) + paper gives clue

Loading never ends lol!

FInally. Got key , paper+butterfly.

use sitck to get key behind sofa

solving tv code now. Missing 1 doll

it is worth the wait...

I'm soooo stuck

Moving puzzle(???) on tv
butterfly on paper (code doesn't work)
2 dolls placed
paper with numbers + words clue

Have the same as you, but missing the remote.

Loving this so far....I even like the music! :)

"Doesn't work with Safari" - eliminating anyone with a Mac.

phew! got ducks! they give shapes code

But wait! They lied - it does work with Safari. And it's even playing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" so I give it extra points.

solved blocks too! red block gives 3-dig code!

the puzzle on TV!!! WOW... lol

the key u found after u do shapes code works on desk and there u'll find a plastic and a box with colored pencils

there is a key in the kettle.. i didnt see it just was clicking and clicking.. but maybe its just my eyesight going rapidly downhill :p

love this game so far.. thx a million mad0 :)

zozzerz!!!! lol

use plastic on paper+butterfly to get the real code!

letter code gives last doll. Place dolls for the key to the CB

well.. stuck. only half of the cb opened and there's nothing I can do there. Also, dunno what to do with numbers/letters clue and safe to the left of sofa

Signature on Moose drawing (ELBI) converts to numbers to unlock cabinet.
Hey nokes, and everyone!

OK...I understand the wood block puzzle...I just can't make them move...anyone? may be a flash problem, I don't know yet..anyone else make it work?

how to solve tv puzzle??

and...now it works..POP magic...lol...just slide them...I was doing it before though I think...lol

1873 unlocks cabinet!!

@Jon...you focus on the heads, put them on top...just a switch puzzle like most, but confusing since it is moving..anyway..feet on bottom...keep going, you'll get it!

A hint for finding the remote? Still stuck way back there.

Drew remote is in the left drawer of tv stand. U need a key but can't remember what key since there're too many lol

well, there is one bug. The green wire thing from the lily in the blue vase can't be viewed - it just keeps showing me the girl doll with red/yellow.

SON OF A %&/$&$%&

THAT WAS THE WORST HARDEST PUZZLE EVER!!!!!~
And I solved those old abroy ones!!!!!

the key for remote is the one in the kettle

@Drew, it's the key from the teapot that opens drawer for remote

Lol, now it shows me the green wire when I try to look at the remote!

any help now? I'm stuck. Can't find where to put a 3-dig code, need a pair of scissors..

OH GOD, A SLIDER!!!!

zoz are u playing on Safari? Cuz it's working fine on Chrome.

Jon D is not that hard! XD

arrrrgh... the tv puzzle has me beaten... need an older slower computer

think i will have to open a real tv programe to slow down my computer and hence the ducks lol

oh gotta go! god luck guys! check on this one later

you mean the wood blocks, @jon? you only need to slide the blocks to make way for the red block to go out...very much easier than a slider ...I hate those too... lol

I can't... I never solved one... damn

green wire was used behind the sofa @zoz
then it will go away

i hate to admit defeat but the ducks have me beaten... have fun all :)

@Nini, yes, I'm playing on Safari. The closeup views don't seem that important, so far.
What to do with the green wire?
And where to use 3 digit code?
And where is leftmost doll?

really simple, @jon...just make a way for the red tile to go right...you will see... :)

Ah, thanks @nokra - you answered my Q before I asked it!

zoz..I told you where to use the green wire/stick///behind sofa...
there is doll. idk where the 3 digit is used..nor the frog code or the names one

refresh...refresh...lolol....I miss comments all the time....

My god, how do you solve the moving puzzle! I love the game though.

I repeat my earlier comment....

you focus on the heads, put them on top...just a switch puzzle like most, but confusing since it is moving..anyway..feet on bottom...keep going, you'll get it!

@cyndee43, the moving puzzle isn't that bad. Like nokra said earlier, just put the feet on the bottom and the heads on top and you'll get there.

I am stuck in the same place as @nini. So far very good game

Stuck on blocks... I'm worse than lame on these. always get stuck.

@ Jon - if you click on the ? on the puzzle it will show you the solution :)

zoz...where are you stuck...we in same place?

Missing the 3rd pencil, a code for the safe by the couch, something sharp to open the box tied with string and a way to open the locked-lockless glass. :P

@urban...I guess we are all there... :)
going back in....hunting clues... :)

I haven't found any pencils. please say where you found some?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I
HATE
SLIDERS
!!!!!!!!!

One is in the couch under the pillow. (took some clicking to find the spot) The other two were in locked drawers. Need 4 in total.

Me neither, Evans.

So we're all stuck with half cb open, needing a scissors and don't know how to open color things? Also don't know where to put 3 digits and what does a hint paper mean (with words)?

I only have 2 pencils (Vert #2 and Rouge #1) Also got no where with the tall cabinet, the safe, the number from the frog, the number from the sliding blocks, no idea how to use "Pour HELENE"... *sigh*

If you can't solve the slider puzzle zimply click the ? in the top right corner and click ''terminer'' ;-)

Anyone have a knife or scissors yet for the box in the bottom left cupboard?

@Szarra...I have only the pencils in box...where did you find others, Please? and anyone solve the frog code yet?

the safe...anyone???????

There is also a hard to spot orange pencil behind the plates is the tall cupboard.

Yellow pencil under cushion on couch

You open the left half of the tall cupboard by clicking the glasses left of the cups and saucers and finding the hook that holds that left door.

sorry, @szarra...just found your comment on pencils....blogger hiding comments today? LOL

ahhh lift pillow, look in back corner ! yellow pencil

Got the duck puzzle!!! Now where to put 2 digit puzzle, and how to solve the poster puzzle...ELBi...

Oh thanks Kernowoman for that yellow pencil, I have all 4 now and filled the box in the desk drawer. Should be able to solve the bottom right cupboard now.

once you open the doors on the cabinet check again close up then on hinges there are letters on them. still can't open colours one and no pencils in locked drawers for me, just yellow one left side of couch under pillow.

Cyndee...ELBI...reverse it!

no hook near glasses in tall cupboard for me and no more pencils.
What locked drawers were they in. I only have the ones under the TV and none in there.

celli....share...please?????

Nope. One was in the lock cupboard behind dishes. One in couch and the other....was in a drawer. I think.

Evans - yellow pencil under cushion on couch. Orange pencil behind plated in tall cupboard. Blue pencil from box in tall cupboard using code from red block.

Missing the last pencil. Celli?

giving up, obviously this game is not working for me. Nothing in drawers, behind plates and no where to input 3# code on any box anywhere. Totally sucks!

@Evans, maybe somewhere else not the glasses, I know the hook is next to the glasses cause I can see it, try clicking around there.

@Nokra, what would you like me to share??
I'm still trying to figure out the bottom right cupboard, I've tried all combinations with the cloured pencils I could think of. Tried left to right, tried 1 -> 6, tried the numbers on the bottom of the frog....nada, nothing...

Please, can someone help to open the left side of tall cupboard? I see no hotspots on glasses...maybe another thing to do first?

What colour are you missing Kernowoman?

The hook is tricky to find. I think you click to the left of the glasses. Keep clicking round there - you'll find it.

my mistake, Celli..... I had just only seen your comment about getting last pencil...so sorry! I almost deleted it after seeing the earlier ones..... but..wth? I will certainly admit to my mistakes! LOL

some VERY hard to find spots here. Still trying to get the hook to open the tall cabinet

I've got yellow blue and orange

The 3 number digit goes on the box behind the left door. And there is the teal (turqoise) pencil (which is yellow when you zoom in to it :-D )

the note with the seven numbers at the top and six words... they look like they can be changed to numbers too (lower case h = 4? ) but how does it fit...?

Yep, got that one, and the one from the cushion and the one from behind the plates.

aha! I backed out of the cabinet closeup and THEN clicked by the cups! Got the hook!

To find a hook, be in the zoom out view of the tall cb

I found the zoom for the hook!!!! Yes so tricky You have to find it from out zoom...then click the glass near the door!

Now...everything is so much clearer...lots to do in there! LOL

So now is everybody in the search of a dark blue pencil... :)

And a knife of course

Celli - you still here? Where is the dark blue pencil?

And the clue for the safe.

Missing the dark blue(?) pencil.
Have a feeling that the hinges with letters will be used with HELENE to open the middle some how.
Need to get the lower right cabinet open, though. For that I need the bleeping pencil.

Did you all find that safe behind the couch???
You need the green/blue towels in the tall cupboard to open it (vert&blue) Only use the pile on the left
Maybe the dark blue pencil was there, I forgot.

The hinges on four door cabinet have letters on them. H, L, and N so far. I'm betting the last one is an E, so we can spell HELENE.
still looking for last pencil.

Woo Hoo! That was it celli! Thanks!

I got OBLSHEI from the note...can anyone decipher it? I have no more brain left... lol

Thanks for all these helpful hints!! I did get the cabinet door open, but only found a yellow (or orange?) pencil. Still need two more. I also did not find anything on the door to input a 3-digit code.??

How to zoom hinges please?

there is a box with a combo lock, very bottom left of cupboard for 3 dig

Cyndee, the 3 digit code goes on the lock on the box in the tall cupboard, bottom left.

Nokra, how did you get that? I'm still trying to find the solution for the pencil cupboard..

got blue pencil from safe (thanks for the hints for that).
Use Frog number and press buttons according to the way the pencils are numbered. E.g., 165=RYT

@Nokra - not the tall cupboard - the 4 door cabinet.

WOW @zoz great find! now....spoil that please? LOL just kidding...I am so tired...lol

nokra - open and zoom in on the doors then click in the upper corner to see the hinges. (It's the cabinet with the frog.)

TY Kernwoman!

Nokra, the hinges are the ones in the cupboard with the 4 white doors, not the tall cupboard (like I thought at first *sigh* LOL )
Open a white door and click on the hinges, only one of the two gives a letter, for the top right cupboard you have to open the door and click inside in the top right corner.

lol, after all that we get to eat one lousy piece of candy from bottom right cupboard. But the Hinge does have an E on it! Now, where/how to use?

ZOZ I tried that long ago and it didn't work.....

zoz - zoom back out and open the doors in order.

SPOILER for bottom right cupboard.

Frog # is 165312446
Pencil # are V2, B3, O4, R1, J6, T5.

So press buttons as follows:

R, J, T, B, R, V, O, O, J

SCISSORS!!!!! TY Szarra!!!!!

Finally out! Great game. Thanks for all the help - could not have managed that alone.

So what was the note with numbers and words on it for?!?

Is there another end? I don't remember using the note with letters and numbers?

LOL @william Bristol!

Thanks @Szarra! Got middle cupboard open now.

I do not understand the hint for the safe at all. I feel really dumb lol. RYT does what, means all the numbers are to the right? Geez, please help a challenged soul. :)

Bloody hell, I tried that frog code a zillion times and it never worked and now it does!!! LOL

Celli...I had to do the pencils cupboard a couple of times before it worked!

The note with numbers/letters was the clue for ELBI. The various words upside down make the numbers at the top.

@szarra: open and close or just open? middle door is still closed

Definitely a five star game! and it showed up on my birthday!

So what was the note with numbers and words on it for?!?

cyndee? the safe behind the sofa?

@Urban, open doors in HELENE order. The second E will close that door, then the last E opens it again

Happy Birthday!!!!!! ZOZ!!! How did I miss that? Yahoo! Happy Birthday ZOZ!!!!!

Thanks everyone. This is a beautiful game, but lots of bugs and hard to find hotspots. I'm going to leave it unfinished right now, but wanted to thank those of you who were so helpful! Enjoy!

Arrgh, i mixed L and E. Thanks for all the hints

Cyndee......remember the save option.....!!!!!!

@nokra, Yep, and it's a big one. Lord, I'm OLLLDDD!

For the safe behind the sofa - Vert (green) is left and Blue is right.

Oh...well, ZOZ figured the upsidedown word 4 digit safe before we even got that note I think! TY, szarra...I can stop thinking about another ending! LOL

Really, @zoz...I am a year behind you then! LOLOL

GONGTATS!

Excellent game!! Thanks for the help.

for the safe behind sofa...I just used only the green towels...
Top to bottom...only 4 combos....
2L, 3R, 1L, 1R

We LOVED your game @Mad0
Please make more!!!!! <3

HINT for ducks/geese

#1 (leftmost) walks about in the middle of screen (more exactly a tad above the center)
#2 walks towards the bottom of screen

#3+#4 walk towards the top of screen, at nearly same height

Just started this a few minutes ago. Did anyone else find the game REALLY laggy, like you open a door and the cabinet is empty, then the object inside appears? Or you click on a door and it opens to reveal an object inside, *then* shows that you have to enter a number to open the door?

That was SUPERB !!!

A French developer comes out of nothing and presents us a game that could easily compete with "our" Tomatea!!

And not in stinking Flash (let the dinosaur rest in peace), but HTML5.

Oh...well, ZOZ figured the upsidedown word 4 digit safe before we even got that note I think!

No, since we don't need the note for solve the safe. It's the painter's moniker ELBI you can zoom on the picture, lower right.

Dammit. I'm in the view of the doll box and it seems to have lost its navigation, I can't do anything with the inventory, and reloading from saved doesn't change this.
Edit: OK, just had to wait it out. If it does it much more my rating is going to go down. It's a really great game but for this.

Thank you for your comments, I am happy if you enjoyed my game :)
For the bug with the magnifier, I have corrected it.
You can have many bugs if you play in Safari, I don't know why, I am in Ubuntu ant don't have Safari, so I can't correct them. If you play on Mac, please use Firefox!

What does it take to work the 3 digit lock in the tall cabinet? I have the code, but I can't seem to enter it. Clicking and/or dragging does nada :(

I know that ELBI was the safe clue, albeitslooser....
We were all wondering what the note of letters and numbers was used for and it was suggested that it was to "think" that way for the solution! Do you have any other use for the note?

@Andrea....The author says that Safari will not work for the game...it does, but maybe the bugs are there when used? I had no problems with FF.

copied from game intro:
Game optimized for Firefox and Chrome.
Doesn't work with browsers that don't support HTML5 (eg Internet Explorer 8)
Doesn't work with Safari.

mad0, thanks for participating. I'm using Chrome. It's a beautiful game and good puzzles, but a little frustrating for the problems I described.

The good:
The game is fun and well thought out.
Very pretty version of SOTR.

The bad:
HTML5 blows incredibly huge chunks. Thus the long load time, the glitches and bugs in some views, and the failure to work in all major browsers. Why you would use it as a short game platform is beyond me.

nokra, I'm going to try restarting with firefox. hopefully less of a problem?

I clicked the left or right of number, andrea!

OK, totally better in firefox!!!

I just cannot get the safe open. (g and b) I dunno what's my problem... I am with the numbers 2,4,1,1 and dunno if that's right but I can't figure out how to input it, because nothing works so far.

Nokra, In firefox I get a hand cursor, but in Chrome nothing.

Yea Andrea! Enjoy!!! :)

Dangit, Nokra I am sorry I didn't see you had already posted it! Thanks. I can't count to 3, obviously. :)

nokra 5/29/14, 10:06 AM

for the safe behind sofa...I just used only the green towels...
Top to bottom...only 4 combos....
2L, 3R, 1L, 1R

mad0

Wow, the champion himself - a warm welcome!

This was a masterpiece...but say...
how many endings does your game have, then? 1 or even 2?

lol, millie...you beat me to it! :)
It is very easy to miss the comments you need, I do it all the time!

Great game. Finally out thanks to you all's help! lol. (Except Bill Chinery- no help except to help me get my daily dose of eye roll)

Shame about Chrome but nicely done game. Thanks mad0

@ arbeitslooser Just 1 end! it's my first escape game, it's hard to make puzzles!

fun game. What was the meaning of the white blocks clue in the tall cupboard?

LOL again @Millie! :)

it's hard to make puzzles!
You can say that again! Some people seem to think you could just think for 2 minutes and tadaa, the puzzle is ready!
Plus, since the internet has a very good memory, authors would hardly want to get accused of plagiarism with puzzles if they just took ideas from many years ago! Let alone the riot there would be if one of the past authors sees their game plagiarised years later...I guess the "plagiator" would rather want to sink into the ground, having lost his/her dignity for all years to come...

yes definitely a five stars game .. Thanks celli , zoz and everyone else .. and Happy Birthday zoz !

Stinking Flash? Dinosaur? This is the only game in HTML posted here. All games we play here are made in Flash. Totally disagree with you arbeitslooser. I agree that HTML5 is nice, but not that Flash is outdated.

Have spent 30 minutes trying to get duck right, and have only managed to get a bad headache. Butterfly clue doesn't work, can only find 1 pencil, no scissors. I respect anyone who can make a game like this and hope you will make more, but perhaps with better hotspots and clues. Walking away but may try again later after a few glasses of wine. Maybe the ducks will cooperate then lol.

This was a great game mad0 - though very hard- THANKS for all your helpful hints you guys!!!
A special thanks to Nini for the 1873 clue (where did it came from???, but it worked!)

1873 came from ELBI on pics.

       Anonymous  5/29/14, 4:30 PM

Excellent game, 5 stars!

How to solve the code + lyrics plastic butterfly? I can not do.

combine paper from bin+plastic from drawer+butterflyand you end up with four letters to use on top left cb door.

Excellent !!!

Roberto
IUHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU !!!!!!!!!

Beautiful and brilliant game! <3 <3 <3.
Keep them coming, Samare/Mad0 !.

The Elbi drawings are wonderfull, bu the link http://www.elbidesign.com/ doesn't seem to work.. :-(

@Samare/Mad0 thank you so much for a great game. I've downloaded Firefox now, and everything is good. Please make many many more!

Slow loading.

It is a good game but it is impossible for me to solve the TV duck puzzle. I can only give up.

I gave it 5 stars, but have to admit that the hook was a huge pixel hunt. Once one has figured out that the cupboard needs to be opened, the actual opening of it shouldn't be such a frustration. Otherwise, wonderful game.

       Anonymous  5/29/14, 10:01 PM

no game 1 star

Watching video walkthrough but stuck with combo lock. I cannot enter the code. I am using FF. Quite disappointing that cannot finish the game.

       Anonymous  5/30/14, 3:32 AM

It was a very nice game (available in French, thanks), but I gave up after several bugs : first, the bug of the green doll, then another one that didn't happened the first time I played : I solved the parking puzzle and got the pink block, saw the number... but can't use it on the padlock (there is no hotspot). The first time I played, the pink block appeared in the inventory, replacing the parking puzzle. The second time, though I solved the puzzle, the pink block doesn't replace the puzzle in inventory.
Several hotspots were too small, especially to open the left door of the large cupboard.
Well, I'm quite disappointed...
Bref, tout pour faire un bon jeu mais quelques défauts à rectifier. Mon navigateur est ACOpera.

       Anonymous  5/30/14, 3:33 AM

Je disais : mon navigateur est Opera (désolée pour la faute de frappe).

Many thanks for all the hints. Would never have made it out without them. I do agree with those who are saying it was a bit buggy as there were a few times when it wouldn't allow me out of a scene or the object you picked up was just black in the inventory.

I can't get the damn game to load in FF!

Pop! It took 30 minutes to load!

I have the same problem as pdgph, the padlock has no hotspot for me so I can't open it, trying to reload the game (after saving it). I'm playing with chrome

Well after reloading it, now I can't even open the left door of the big cupboard even though the hook is open...
Really like the game so I'll start from the beginning again

I've encountered several bugs. the slider puzzle still shows up in my inventory and not the red block. this makes it so I cannot work the 3# combo lock. Don't think I have the patience to start over and re-do that duck puzzle.

with the slow load and the many bugs, I can't rate it as high as I would like. disappointing

Finally it worked!

Been playing almost all the escape games, and this one was one of the best I ever played. Thanks!
