Zaxin
Zaxin Escape is a new point and click adventure escape game created by Selfdefiant for Melting-Mindz. Legend has long spoke of a sacred Tome which was lost many years ago. You were lead here to the asylum where the Tome is said to be hidden. Once inside you fell through a weak spot in the floor. When you woke up you were trapped in the basement. Now you have to figure out what happened and try to find the Tome. Good luck and have fun! Play This Game

used crowbar on vent which gave me a green key...
Torchlight in first scene...
finally found orb jar in room with filing cabinets..theres a combo lock on wall in same room
So far: crowbar (used to get green key), torch + 2 batteries (used to get red key), pincers and pink from the box with blue squares and violett circles.
Ah - thanx rmcr8 - missed the safe - got orb jar now too!

Used holy water on zombie to get red gem.
How to get silver key?
@seb: in the room with the 4 cb's with 4 drawers on the right side. Look there on left side - cb without doors or drawers

Used matches on fireplace and got blue key
Finaly: after using the blue key, I could buy a map with orbs.
I buy a book too and found a hammer in same room.

Used hammer in room c (where stairs are) and got yellow gem.
Used hammer again in room J on planks (elevator) and found purple key.
Used purple key to get in AA, found SD in AC, used it in AB and got gold key

I have a a flashlight with batteries, a crowbar, a jar for orbs and a pink orb (from box with squares). I found and used the red key... and that's all. I'm wandering without map and can't find anything.
Used torch in room AA and got blue gem.
Used SD in room A (startscene) and got white gem.
Ok I feel dumb but what's the combination to the safe?

Gold key opens room V and I used hammer to get purple gem. Now I need the color code for the book.
I have the pink, green, yellow, red, blue and white gems. which one am I missing?
I found the code but I can't manage the safe - which direction do you turn please?

Can someone give a hint for box with blue squares and purple circles? I have no idea what to do with it.

For square box: Move your mouse above the blue squares and you see when a sign is shown. First click on the square when the sign is shown on first circle, then click the square when the sign is shown on second circle and so on.

Nope, sorry, not finishing or liking this one. Not getting the map almost till the end and that atrocious square light puzzle was the pits. became a pixel hunt. the games are good enough. no need to add bullcrap

Finally out. Not very fond of this one. Really hated not having the map, then when I did get it, I couldn't write in it like I usually can.

I have to agree, not having the map sucks.I got through it, but I didn't really enjoy this one, too much wandering back and forth and too many really dark rooms.
I really liked the puzzles in this one. Happy to get another Asylum game
matches are in room above room with anagram box. You need silver key from radiator first. Still no map but if I can find fireplace again I might get it.
@SD I really enjoyed this one.
The puzzles and no map are reminiscent of your earlier games which I've been playing when there are no new games. I just use Paint and make my own map as I go

Stairs-C: go up, open door with green key.
Revolving door-G: Exits L,R,U,D
Kitchen-N (U from revolving door): BATTERY (in one of the drawers) Exit D
Hall #2-F (L from revolving door): exits R, U (locked, blue) and L (locked, red)
Hall #3-H (R from revolving door): Exits L, R, U, D (game exit)

Desk-L (U from bare room): PINCERS. Letter clues (SUCERE), box with squares. Patiently find the squares that light up the symbols in the correct order (clockwise from arrow). Gives PINK GEM. Exit D.
Lavatory-V: Get SILVER KEY from radiator.
Anagram box room-R (R from hall #6, use silver key): Open anagram box with letters from desk (answer in previous comments) to get GREEN GEM. Exits L, R, U
Pillar room-S (R from anagram box room): Open box with shape clue hints from hall #4 to get HOLY WATER. Exit L.
Cabinet-X (U from anagram box room): Use flashlight to get MATCHES. Exit D
Toilet-Z: get rid of zombie with holy water to get RED GEM
Fireplace-I: light fire with matches for BLUE KEY
Chapel-M (U from hall #2, use blue key): Buy map and book from death. Get HAMMER from floor.
Stairs-C: remove bricks with hammer for YELLOW GEM
Elevator-J: remove boards with hammer for PURPLE KEY
AA (U from hall #7-W, open with purple key): Use flashlight for BLUE GEM. Exits R, U
AC (U from AA): Get SCREWDRIVER from windowsill. Exit D.

I don't have a box with squares in L but a box that requires 7 numbers. I have a map that calls itself a scroll from E, no map to buy in M and the reaper will not sell me the crystal because he says I need a map??????
Hey! I started playing a while back and went to waslk the dogs. When I came back I started from scratch and there are couple of things that are different; the 25-square box is now a 7-digit box; now you dont have to buy the map because is in one of the rooms, but the shop guy is not letting me buy the crystal ball because he says that I do not have a map! Yes I do!
I get "you must have a map to use the crystal", and it's not allowing me to buy the crystal - I have a map for about half hour now. Looks like a bug to me...
and then giving up when picking up the SD in AC, it just disappears.
Now I have an Invisible screwdriver!!! SD!! What is going on? After I pick it up it became invisible!
@trillian: it still there - I just used it... it is just invisible!
ok - now my gems also disappeared when i put them in the book - and the book wont open..... I dont even know if I am missing one....
I checked Lsquared's WT and I picked up all the gems. - book wont open since now I have no gems at all after placing them in the book. @SD: please fix the bug. Thank you :)
When I updated the game it messed up. It's fixed now. :)

The box that I have in the room is L 7 digit number. Does anyone know where to find her password?
I have the map, but still the subject of room M does not want to sell the crystal ball. I have many orbs for this and it does not sell. It's bug?
How can I open the box if you do not know the numeric password?
For anyone who is having the same problem I think for the numbers of the room L box in room H has a sign on the left wall with the numbers. Stay up on the left wall, the second door.
I liked the box with the squares. Not to hard and nice to see something different.
I agree with Robin Rob. I kinda liked the new puzzle with the 5x5 grid.
But since there were changes made I had to play again. Still fun the second time through. Plus it put me in 6th place on the leader board.
OMW What an AWESOME game!!! I battled to find the pincers (YES, the freaking pincers under my nose LOL!), and yet I solved the square/circle puzzle in seconds LOL! Shows you! LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH!! Thanx SD!!

This is strange. I didn't have a shape box in L with the pink gem. Mine had a number code, the clue for which was on the wall in room H. I finished the game before reading the comments about the shape box, then went back again specifically to find that box because I didn't remember it. I'm still thinking I must have missed something, even though I completed the game.
I played this after SD fixed things and it was great! No bugs at all!

Again, I said it before, a very dark game. Flashlight - even with the hint of it being in the first room (now what was that first room?) took ages to find when I finally got to that room. Giving up, letting go. Even now that I have that map I don't feel groping my way around in the dark to find a sd and/or pliers.
