Okay, going for the 3rd escape.....

4th level, be sure to zoomon the pipes for the color clue on level 3
no bucket poroblem, use it for coal after using dymnamite

Used for coal....no problems.
It's sticking to my cursor. Restarting the game put me back in the same spot. SD superglued it to my hand! Not cool!

KM I'm thinking maybe I'm not on that puzzle you kindly gave help with, because the numbers you gave didn't work for me.
I have a couple blank pages in my book then 1 page that says

this gives me several possible numbers, the most obvious ones being 35235 and -302. I've tried these and several combinations and nothing works.
I'm clicking on the panel with a +, a red square, and a green square, which opens a panel with buttons for 1 through 0, and Enter and Clear buttons.
Use cable colours to open box then use blowtorch on door.

WALKTHROUGH
Under the heap of little stones, find the shovel. Use it on the heap of dirt. Get screwdriver and use it on the light switch.
Note arrow clue on the pillar, zoom on the caution sign and note the numbers in order of the arrow clue. Enter the numbers in the red box. Get pick ax, chop up the large stone on the left and take the ladder. Place ladder under the elevator and go up to Scene 2.
Click the heap of pipes on the right, take screwdriver, click the drill in the heap of pipes on the left, open the panel with the screwdriver and take fuse. Enter elevator and insert fuse. Take lighter from the lower left drawer. Take bucket and back out again. Look at the crate on the right and note color order. Look at the three color gauge machine and note numbers in color order. Back to the crate and open it. Take dynamite, set it on the rocks on the left and light it. Use bucket to take coal to the gauge machine. Get on the elevator to get to next level.
Click the paper that's on the table and note colors. Tip the barrel off the edge to uncover red box. Enter the colors and get extension cord. Use it on the vending machine. From one of the lockers, get a dollar out of a jacket pocket and put it in the vending machine to get a scroll with a number clue. Use the code top to bottom on the second locker door, get bolt cutters. Cut the bands on the pipes and see the color code for the green trunk. Open the trunk to get jackhammer. Use it on the boulders by the elevator. Get on the elevator to get to the next level.
Take the pipe elbow from under the wheels of the big machine, place it on the pipes to join them and the water drains away. Look in the hole, click the big stone and take the silver key. Note the number clue (upside down) on the big machine and use that on wood crate to get the big blade. Use the key to open the door on the big machine. Take wrench (spanner) and use it to remove the drill. Place the big blade. Get the pick ax lower left and chip away the rock on the big machine's wheel. Click the machine's cab to get it going. Take the ladder and place it on the left. Go up to next level.
Take shovel on the right and use it on the left. Open the blue book and get first of three diamonds. Flip another page and see the two number clues. Get the second diamond from one of the overhead lamps. Using the second number clue (subtraction), click the rightmost door and enter five digit number to open panel. Note colors top to bottom. Enter color code to open red box, take torch and use it on the rusty panel. Take the wire nut and fix the red wire with it. Enter the other number code (sequence) on the grey panel. Take the third diamond and place all three on the right. Press the red button and the elevator returns for your SAFE ESCAPE!

level 1 - I think the caution sign was fixed. Original numbers were different?
I am so frustrated trying to get this color code and it should be the easiest thing in the world!
Oh I am so dense....I didn't click on the pipes themselves.
I have the sticky bucket. Cannot put it down and can't pick other things up. Restarted and came right back to the same situation.
Anonymous, you can't place the bucket in your inventory?
Anonymous - maybe if you move your cursor outside of the game area the bucket will go into the inventory? I did not have that problem when I played it. I wonder why that is? Maybe it's the browser? (I use FF most of the time.)
you have to click top inventory bar to drop items into it.
3 stars, started well enough, but a few quirks in the game lost a few stars from me

I compliment games which warrant it, and criticize games where they are weak. That is what comments sections are for. I complimented SD on one of his games quite recently in fact, so I don't know what gives you the idea that I hate everything I play. Perhaps if you are so irritated by the comments on this site it is you who should find another place to go for fun. Not all escape games sites have comments sections, and I am sure that you could easily find one more to your liking.

I did promise you that, and it certainly shines a light on a different point of view @.@ As a matter of fact, I believe a WT was posted a few years ago on how to delete one's own comments...lolol!!!!!! *I was having trouble deleting...*

Not sure what the deal is with that, it appears on all the other blogger sites. And I can't access my comments on this site through Google or blogger either. I thought it was a browser/addons thing, but a fresh IE install gives the same results.
@Bill...the same thing happened to me a few years ago...I would post a comment but the trash bin did not appear. I re-booted, tried to find the answer in my Google, but to no avail. All of a sudden, out of the blue, the trash bin began to appear, but I have no idea why it popped up. I thought maybe Google had a glitch but everyone else seemed to be just fine, so a walkthrough was posted for my benefit and it was pretty funny :) I wish I could be more specific, but I still do not know why it suddenly started working *or why it stopped to begin with* :/ I like to know the "whys" of things...if I Google the problem, I am almost certain an answer will appear :)

"Deleting for Dummies"
1. Make sure that you are logged in as you always are when you post a comment.
2. Have a look at the comment you want to delete. Be sure that you are not looking at somebody elses comment, that's very important.
3. Scroll to the end of your comment, see the date and time? Clue: It's written in blue characters, and mostly consists of digits.
4. Now, the hard part: Look below that date/time row. But don't look too far! You want to stop before you see the comment of the next person (which starts with a symbol of a person and a signature).
5. There, right there, is the small image of a trash can!
6. Click it and follow instructions.
7. Congratulations! You have deleted your comment!
I’m sorry, irish, just couldn’t resist...LOL. The truth probably is as SneakSnake said, your thrash cans are not there at the moment. Either a bug, or you are not logged in. Have a look at a previous post in another game to see if you can find one. Good luck :D

rofl ellie....!!!!! well i asked for it didn't i...lol!!!! what is it they say...be careful what you wish for...haha!!! I logged in Google but still am not seeing those elusive trash cans...i know they used to be there?? hmmm...i think my computer is playing a naughty trick on me!
