For the first time I was able to solve the color square puzzle but now have no idea what to do with the clues I have!

D not exist at all

B contains 2 Ds also G contains a tiny L. my head burns

very tricky. count the o, l and d shapes, not letters, in the order right to left.

Stuck on door code as well.
Tried OOL but doesn't work... was thinking: read in the direction of the arrow and count all letters you need.

when you get it right, does the enter button work? When I try, the enter button does nothing.

I thought I found 4 L, 3 D and 2 O

No. Once you get it right, you will figure that out by rechecking the panel, which will be "dead" from now on.
Just touch the door...

i don't know how many Ls should we count in E.

my door is locked and my enter button doesn't work. Does that mean escape is impossible? Am I stuck here forever? Oh no!

oh, had missed all the L's in the E. Now I count 10?

Thinking I may never escape this one

That seemed rather arbitrary (and a bit irritating).

Looks like the island of Capri.

1 star for shitty door clue

Hi zoz! I agree - kind of lame for the code...

I wonder what the Japanese at the bottom left corner means. I'll bet it explains why the solution doesn't make a lick of sense.

Weird code. Why does a B count for two Ds but there is no L in T?

@Anne Ter -- Maybe because the L in T is upside down?

@Andrea -- my guess is that the Japanese explains "Blue Grotto"

damn right, iconland

OK, geniuses...the clue from the squares puzzle is a RED backwards arrow. Meaning that you only pay attention to the RED shapes on the clue behind the photo puzzle, not the whole letters that the RED shapes are a part of.

The clue made perfect sense, and followed the author's previous clue logic.

Just looked back at this game and earlier they didn't have any red on the letters! They were all white.

The letters were all one colour when I played this game just after it came out - there were no red bits on them, so I think the earlier comments were understandable in the circumstances.

Isn't it annoying when people give a low star just because they can't get the clue. It was fairly obvious to me...but the star rating shouldn't be how easy it is to solve, but how good the game is and how tricky the clues can be.
