I cant get the stars. I start at the top, zero, star, diamond, and then star,zero diamond, etc, is that right , its still not working for me

2 stars poor, don't know how you interpret clue for 1, 2, 3 numbers.

Clearly whats in the authors mind is a secret only known to him.

Its how many time the number appears. 8 appears once 2 is there twice and 1 is there 3 times

Icon - the 1,2,3 clue is how many times that particular number shows up on the wall

One 8
Two 2's
Three 1's

Therefore under One dot - 8
Under Two dots - 2
Under Three dots - 1
