I'm looking for a place to use the screwdriver.

Stuck on a number code and where to use the sd

so far we need a knife for the stiches in bed a lighter a code for the box and maybe an anagram for the :freeyour self".I'm stuck with a screwdriver and no panel to use it.
I don't know what I did, but I found a green gem in the middle of the purple shape on the floor.
I'm stuck in the same place as you. Do you think we've failed our training?

I'm trying to figure out how free yourself can be converted to a number code. Only Self has the right amount of numbers, but doesn't work
The screwdriver is in one of the rooms to the right once you've opened the locked door out of the purple-shape-on-the-floor room!

The gems go on the top of the staircase, so far I only have the green one

Place for the SD! Go to the drawer you opened with the crowbar and use the SD there - get the lighter!
there is a small place in the drawer where you used the crowbar to use the sd...
Oh dear - where did we find the SD? Have you gone through the door to the right in the room with the purple shape on the floor?

I think the SD was towards the back of the room to the right of the staircase, but I might be wrong.
ok you have to pick up all the orbs to reveal the gem.
the purple pentagram? yup, opened that door
When you've lit the candles, the white floor-shape has a present.
After lighting the candles, the book gives the clue for number box which gives a green key
The book has some letters that are in bold - use those for the 6-digit box.

I think the sd was under the green chair, but can't remember. Use Free yourself in the room with the scalpel

You only have to use 'free' in the operating theatre.

LOL clodagh, so please tell me that I used the 'YOUR' and 'SELF' for nothing...
Oh, I used 'free', and it said "that worked". When I used the others, it said I was wrong. I haven't got the middle gem yet, so perhaps I need to do it again?
Yes Clodagh. That's where the 3rd gem is. Click the switch after you each word

yep, you have to input all three words and hit the switch, as miles said... A yellow gem for that!
I've done it again, and still get no gem. I put in 'free', clicked the switch and it said "that worked". I did the same with the other two words, and it said "that wasn't right". I've tried staying in the scene to do that, and I've tried coming out and going in again after each word. What else shall I try?
in the operating theatre there is no 'F' on the bottom dial to complete the word 'self' - or am I missing something???
Tried for about the fifth time and got the yellow gem - thank you everyone!
The F is on the left of the dial, although it looks like an E.
I think the trick with the Help Your Self puzzle was to click just once each time you have input a word. The message doesn't change if you do it right. I think that's where I went wrong, if that helps anyone having the same trouble I had.

after a million tries it finally worked and have the yellow gem!
Souless Minion - maybe the problem you have is like the one I had. You have to do the sequence properly right from the start, (sorry!) - so set the dials for the 1st word, then click the switch once only. Do the same with the second, click once, and so on. Perhaps it isn't working for you because you're trying several combinations with the third word. Hope that helps.

Can't do the box in the far left scene. Help ?? I have the book with the bold letters, but only see 4 LEIW. Are we supposed to convert some to numbers?

Counting to 26 is needed? (takes a cup of coffee).
if it doesnt work make sure you click the out of the dials and then try again. i typed free and then clicked the switch and then your and then clicked and self and then click and it gave me the gem
Technically, you only have to count to 23 ;)
I like how each day of Sneaky Academy represents a different style of SD game. So far we have Cartoon, SSSG, and Asylum. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

I'm quite new to the sneaky coin and orb games. Never had the patience for them, but have started to find them really fun, sometimes incredibly frustrating masochistic fun!
I LOVED the fact that orbs could be swept up just by passing over them with the mouse in a recent game. The sound effect was great! A counter for the orbs would be nice, especially when the number (in this case collecting them all to get the green gem) is important.
Good game. I had to turn the music off today (and yesterday) because it was driving me nuts! Maybe that is a deliberate part of the torture.

I think the green gem appears after you collect all the orbs.

Can anyone help? I used to be able to play these games without any problems. Now I'm just getting a white blank page?
I have the lastest java/flash player installed and I have the active x disabled but I'm still getting the blank page. Anyone had this problem before? and how do you solve it? Thanks.
okay i give up, firs room was a bottle and when i clicked on it (after I clicked on everything else in the room) it sent me to the asylum.....
now super stuck! there is a candle to be lit.... no matches or lighter, door is locked..... no key, and a purple pentagram.... nothing happens when i click on it.....
what the heck!? this is awful!
oh well, not gonna try anymore hope those who are getting to do stuff have fun!

Note candle and purple pentagram
Go left, get 2 orbs, note jammed desk drawer
Go left, get 1 orb, note candle & stitched mattress
Go left, get 1 orb, note white pentagram
Go left, get 2 orbs, get crowbar
Go left, get 1 orb, note candle & box of 6 numbers
Go right 4 times, use crowbar on drawer, get silver key, note crack in top left corner of drawer
Go right, click on white door on right of screen, use silver key
Go right, get 2 orbs, note area at top of stairs to place 3 gems
Go right, get 1 orb, get screwdriver
Go right, note locked door & "FREE YOUR SELF" on wall
Go left 3 times, get green gem from pentagram
Go left, open drawer, use screwdriver on crack (top left corner) get lighter
Go right, light candle
