the book hint... is it must add the numbers together?

i need help, i found 2 Gems and have my sd and lighter. the piano is completed and i think i made all, but still searching 3rd gem
where is the safe for the gems?
The safe (slots) should be in the 'dark room' above the 'mysterious door' I think...

Having trouble with the coffin colors. Followed the color combo from radiator, but it's not working
Is there a trick to "touching the mushroom?"

Yes, Tati, that's the combo I've been doing but it doesn't do anything. ARG!
You have to click on the colors in the coffin in the order that I placed. Pay attention to certain colors.

Is something wrong with your game, then why are these colors. Bug?
Everything's been working fine up to this point. It's finicky when I press the colors. I even up-ed the size of my computer screen so I could see them better. Maybe a bug.
How about you start all over again? Press F5, then ... start all over again, is the way.
Are you using Google Chrome? It's the best browser for these games.
Cathy 717 - that is the correct color sequence - it worked for me. I'm using FF, but I don't think that would be a browser problem.
There are 10 orbs in order to get the gem in purple pentagram.
I think there are 10 orbs to collect for the yellow gem.

Had lots of trouble working out roman numeral clue, also thanks evans 6/23/14, 8:05 AM I couldn't find that orb til I read that and out.

Colors worked for me.
Several things were impossible to see without using Windows Magnifier, which always ruins the fun.
Finding the door to get to the piano room was a pixel hunt. It is one pane of glass in the door above the wheelchair, for those who care enough to bother.
And seriously, SD...Roman numerals don't mean different things when they are lower case. Roman numeral puzzles are fine, but don't redefine how they work or even the people who understand them aren't going to want to bother.

in reply to @bill chinery's comment about roman numerals - roman numerals only go to 1,000 so anything above that is more cumbersome to figure out. I like the way Selfdefiant does them. It's easier. Probably did need to be mentioned that x or i in front of c or v mean different things. I had a little trouble working out the code -- finally just went in number by number and added everything together, got the code that way. I didn't have any trouble with anything else, using Firefox.

Anyone still about? I'm in the same spot as beeve - piano key at first position
piano keys - one from the coffin (press 2 4 1 5 3 4 2)
one from the arrows - (straight edges together then points together)
and last from behind the radiator in bathroom (crowbar in room with files - behind a panel)
2orbs in one of the rooms - bathroom, I think

Pentagrams visited more often.. helped lots...even if the room navigation was a little confusing... haunted! Adds to it :) Nice.

I gave up as I could not get casket colors to work after trying for about 10 minutes, seemed if you did not hit the exact pixel it did not take. Sorry SD but I have to give this game a poor.

@bill chinery, I disagree about the pixel hunt for the door. My cursor changed to a hand from top to floor and a little left of the arrow. I could click on any part of that area to access the door.
Regarding the colors (mushrooms) on the coffin, to reset, I simply exited the room and re-entered.
Did anyone else notice that when placing the piano keys it said that I placed a gem?
I played twice , first time 10 orbs for sure but not gem for me (bug???), second I get it!!!
