Can't figure out the shield clue for the diamonds.
OK got the shield clue now need runes?
I have found two runes. Have a knife and a lit torch. Haven't figured out the diamonds.
I need the last rune - the dimonds -look at the directions of the world
Use the knife on barrels.
Got the diamonds, the window hints are the clue. But need 2 more runes, I guess
Torch on the sack of grain = #4

What shield clue? All it says when I click on the shield is that it's a large shield and he was knocked down with it in battlefield...
nvm - found out how to use the arrow and cloth to get the key - now there are more rooms...

for the shields you have to look in the windows where is the blue shield
Too small to see everything you need.
I have cloth and arrow, and don't get what to do, am in one room and cannot get anywhere, could you please write what to do with cloth and arrow, instead saying you found out, but not helping with how.
Put the cloth under the door and break the arrow to push the key through the keyhole
Put cloth below the door, click arrow and fist. This will break the arrow. Use broken arrow in the lock of the door. The key will fall out and onto the cloth. Take key and take cloth back.
Where is the fourth rune? I have the torch-sack one, the helmet one, and the water barrel one, just missing the last

yellow - North
Red - South
Blue - West
Green - East
Place Runes
Where the compass says South - Rune with up arrow
North - Rune with left arrow
West - Rune with half an up arrow (don't know how to describe it :)
East - Rune with left and right
how do you get a torch?
rag+alcohol+stick=torch
Got there eventually, had to try torch on sack repeatedly to get the 4th rune and get out.
