Yes! The 3d episode!
ReplyDeletewell, this time I ate an energy bar, which was not rotten!
ReplyDeletewow! I'm in the basement. Is this a morgue?
ReplyDeletemissing one orb
ReplyDeleteand out. This was the easiest part.
ReplyDeleteThank you Selfdefiant!
doris - thank goodness it's not rotten this time :-D
ReplyDeleteJay, you must go to all of the rooms. There's one in almost all of them.
ReplyDeletePicture in the Loungeroom gives clue for box next to the bed.
ReplyDeleteNo Zoe, it wasn't very good though...
ReplyDeleteClue for 3# box from painting.
ReplyDeleteThere's something wrong with star rating of the game. I gave 5 stars and it just clicks 3...
ReplyDeleteI'll stick around in case someone needs help. (Of course, you got Zoe who's really brilliant)!
ReplyDeleteThanks again SD :) Great game.
ReplyDeleteI already have some items in inventory and have solved some puzzles? Is it?
ReplyDeletewhere is the clue for the moon box?
ReplyDelete@dancing on a ceiling by a chandelier for moon clue.
ReplyDeleteneed 130 seconds :)
ReplyDeleteNice to play
@dancing247 On the ceiling in the room with the chairs. Where's the moonbox? :D
ReplyDeleteI got a crowbar, no idea what to do with it, though.
thanks
ReplyDeleteWhy did I start the game with SD, lighter , 2 pieces of stained glass, hammer and some puzzles tells me I solved it already?
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity i can't burn the door without a handle down.
ReplyDelete3-digit code is on the big tapestry/painting in the room with the fireplace - read the comments for the number
ReplyDeleteExcellent third (and sadly, final) episode of this series. One of the best asylums ever. Just love the constant experimentation with new ideas. Thanks, Selfdefiant!
ReplyDeleteRoberto, it's a series, hence the "Day 3" in the title.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know where there are some sneaky orbs? I can only find 18 after unlocking the door.
ReplyDeleteHow do you get into the door with no keyhole (I assume that is where the box for the moon clue is) and what do I do with the crowbar?
ReplyDeleteAnd I have the moon/sun clue from the ceiling, but where do I use it?
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree that this series is brilliant - thanks SD!!!
Been trying for a while to start game. It seems to be stuck. After I push start I can't use anything. Trying again fingers crossed this time!
ReplyDeleteIf I've "counted" correctly, so far I'm up to room AD.
ReplyDelete@IslandAmy there's a sneaky left arrow in the scene with the handleless door, use the crowbar there.
ReplyDeleteI was stuck like a trazillion days with that part.
Ok....found two more orbs! Off to buy a lantern to go down into the darkness :-)
ReplyDeleteSD, i really like those days-series you do lately. Keep that up! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you buecherverschlingen!
ReplyDeleteNice and easy. I really need a rest on the beach
ReplyDeletebuecherverschlingen - I see a door that has no keyhole, but where is the door that has no handle?

ReplyDelete@Zoe The last room in the basement, to the right. Or does it just have no keyhole and my brain completely did make that up? Uhh...
ReplyDeleteSorry if i confused you.
Escaped! Impossible to make a map with that last new "hallway", lol. Great game!
ReplyDeleteLOL transported to a beach!
ReplyDeleteThe room in the basement is on the left, I think. X marks where you use the crowbar.
ReplyDeleteFinally got a working game and out with no help this time. I love this series. Way to go SD!!
ReplyDeletebuecherverschlingen - Got it!!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHuw - thanks, too! I'm Out!
Now I'm on a beautiful beach with a dune buggy! Hope that's the start of the next series ;-)
I like that these series truly feel like one game. It's like you get to a certain point, walk away, then come back the next day with everything in inventory, doors unlocked, and all the puzzles still solved. Yes, latecomers like Roberto get a little lost, but they still reap the benefits of the "previous day" inventory.
ReplyDeleteLurker Smurf - So true. And especially for someone who may have quit a previous game can come back the next day and pick up for the next part. Very clever on SD's part!
ReplyDeletenooooo! I wasn't ready to leave, I wanted seek out and explore more of the underground. seriously good game, though!!
ReplyDeleteHas an orb in the cemetery, where we saw two dates in episode 2.
ReplyDeleteThe code to open the box with 3 digits is the big picture on the wall.
ReplyDeleteThe code for the levers is in above the fireplace. Have to light with lighter.
ReplyDeleteOut! Great game! Love the new series!! Thanks SD!
ReplyDeletebug game
ReplyDelete1 star
I hate to say it, because SD games are usually flawless or quickly fixed. But there seem to be a couple of bugs:
ReplyDeleteAfter visiting the basement and flipping three switches, and using the crowbar, my lantern has disappeared so I can no longer go there.
I placed three of the four pieces of stained class, roamed around a bit more, and when I came back they still in the frame, but also in the inventory.
I'm so frustrated. I see the moon clue but have no idea where to use it. I can't get the lantern because I am missing an orb and I've been around and around and around. Time to give up so as to save my insanity. Still 5 stars though, it's a great game. I just wish someone would have said specifically where the moon box was after someone asked twice...at least I would know to keep looking for that last orb as opposed to also thinking I'm missing a box somewhere. This whole 'door without handle' or 'handle without keyhole' or 'door without handle' isn't so helpful. But like I said, I'm frustrated.
ReplyDeleteHave placed 3 pieces of glass, can't find the fourth. The levers go with the code above the fireplace? I've already flipped all three, and can't change them. I appear to be stuck :(
ReplyDeleteLisa Hall, did you find the locker with the last switch? Go two rooms right...the moon box is there.
ReplyDelete@Andrea, the clue over the fireplace is for a box with switches, not the switches in the basement.
ReplyDeleteNot the levers in the basement. There is a levers puzzle that you need to solve first in the new bedrooms somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThere is also a room to the right that leads to the seashore somewhere near where we finished last time. An orb is there.
Go to the very first rooms that we visited and there are more orbs
I've done everything apart from finding where to put the 'moon' code. Can anyone help please?
ReplyDeletebuecherverschlingen and slart Bon, thank you! I found it :) I'd found that room, but missed the box!
ReplyDelete@Tring-a-ling right door of the basement, you have to go left of it first and use the crowbar on the red X.
ReplyDeleteHere is a map if anyone needs one:

Thanks, buecherverschlingen, I'll try that.
ReplyDeleteselfdefiant, how would I contact you privately? I want to send you pics for an escape game.
ReplyDeleteI am on facebook: Timothy Storrs
I have a problem. I've restarted a couple of times, but the lamp has disappeared. I seem to have 20 orbs but the dark figure reckons she has nothing to give me. Despite placing the pieces of glass they are still in my inventory. I think I'll have to start this episode from scratch!
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these series so much!!! It's the new "fix" I needed as an old escapist. It's not just that you wait for the next part, I personally feel getting more into the game this way-especially in the asylum, which is more realistic (as an environment, I mean). I caught myself thinking "let's see what that maniac has in stock for us today" and stuff like that. Nicely done! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, the music is hauntingly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAndrea. Thank you...I wasn't even in the basement yet due to the missing orb. I started over and somehow found them all. :)
ReplyDelete@Timothy Storrs, find Melting-MIndz games on Facebook there are too many Timothy Storrs on facebook!
ReplyDeleteneed that crystal ball to fast travel to that beach!
ReplyDeleteLoving the continuity of these games SD. Great game, appreciate the time you take to make them.
ReplyDeleteand i like this series , it's entertaining .. except that i'm missing FIVE orbs lol !
ReplyDeletenm i thought i had to go downstairs first !
ReplyDeletea last note from the kidnapper wwould be a nice ending to the story!
ReplyDeleteeasiest of the three
ReplyDeleteWow! Crystal ball appears in this part!
ReplyDeleteBit of a let down. But I see you are busy cranking out games left and right so... STill like playing your games. Thanks SD.
ReplyDeleteDeniz I agree.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this one - although I had to run around in circles to find the last orb.
ReplyDeleteThank you SD
Good Game Thanks Selfdefiant
