help,i have 2 pots and a knife (used) and stuck

Got a hammer from the window in the yellow house and broke a box, picked up flower pots to get the three colour clue and am now clicking on everything with no clue what I am doing
Also got the knife from using the numbers on the wall and the box just to the left of the old PC
was going to post about hammer,but you beat me to it !!
knife cuts the cord on the PC and gives you a pot of water (obviously need to add something to the water though as it just sits on the screen)
aah, use the yellow tablet (cut the cords on the box that might have come from the colour safe?) to get the switch code
Use the windy thing on the other pot for the first key!

Lots of stuff in the house. The screwdriver (top left by the stairs) is used more like a crowbar than an sd. The knife also comes in handy
In the house, put the water into the pot (both picked up in the house) for the pink ball. Use the white stick on the left side pot for another ball. Another ball came from using the pencil on the pot with the hole that was picked up.
That should give pink, black,red and green balls, three cards (which give a number when opened) and the key to the cupboard
There is a kid tied to the wall!
found a clock (top right) and the time for it (top left) which gave me a colourd paper. Another coloured paper under the table and the last one above the right side of the boy - all for the colour clue
under the lamp, above the boy (left side), in cupboard and from using the bent paperclip from the plant - got four papers which give a number clue
.... and the boy is free!
where is the pencil ?
Cheers, Kevaus . Finding the box in the box next to the PC box was the step that I needed to get going. After that, it flowed quite nicely
