Two votes but no comments and only one star? Let's have a look if it's really so bad!
well, it doesn't look that bad! As a matter of fact it seems interesting
Had to refresh three times until the game loaded properly. Now I'm in.
Aha! I had a clue paper with some dots in white - yellow - green (don't remember where I found it) and spent ages clicking at the colours on the doll. Use it at the cupboard to the right of the doll instead. :-)
open a door (start view) got a hat with code flowers on ribbon
and corn
combine code colors on ribbon with place buttons on doll to click on 3 buttons on right cb and got pliers
shut the curtain but code flowers no works below (tried the 3 rows)
opening all drawers gives number code in other view but don't know where to use it
number code on each side of drawers opened
used pliers on pump in kitchen
click on pump and got key in sink
For the five digits code combine the clues from the thread rollers in the box with the pots under the sink...
I am as far as dutchie. Tried from top to bottom and vice versa. seb, what do you mean by opening the number codes on each side? I can only see the drawers from the left side.
blue/white shapes gives order for flower code, can open both doors after that.
used key to open yellow box in cb (view doll) got a special"key"
and hint color
thanks Prakta
combine tiles clue with flowers panel to open the flower code cupboard
Thanks dutchie, I thought that the pattern should mean something but didn't thought of the flowers.
Open the doors carefully! I found a triangle piece behind the left door I opened with the white-yellow-green hint, and behind the right door of the flower cupboard there are number 26 5 3 14.
Not that that would take me much further - now I need a hint how to press the four buttons where i filled in that piece I found.
And I still haven't open that 73581 drawer - can't get it together. Help is appreciated!
Meritneith: eg: green is the lowest thread roller (= 1) and the first pot, so the first number is 1...
...lowest thread roller = lowest drawer...
stuck on clock!
sorry, the green pot is the third, so the third number is 1...Sorry!
The triangles on the sliding door have to do something with the blue/white button door, but I don't get it.
Clock is the signs on the green box. You need 7.
Roberto, look at the weird green/white box...
I'm getting mad... maybe I should put my head into a bucket full of cold water.
The order of the pots is for me white - violet - green - blue - orange. The threads from small to large are green - orange - violet - white - blue. The numbers on the drawers from bottom to top are 1 8 5 3 7. I have tried ANY combination of these hints but nothing works.
prakta: why is the first pot green for you?
Jacqueline, combine them with the 26 5 3 14 hint...
I'm not getting the 5 diggit code, I tried with the hints you guys gave (pots and threads) but can't get it right, could I get a spoiler please?
meritneith, I have added two comments for you after my first...
HEUREKA! Got it! Thanks for you patience.
Yes Prakta I know, but still don't know which button is which.
spoiler for number code
35178
combine 73581 (1 lowest drawer and 7 top) with order thread roller => green (lowest) orange purple grey blue (top)
put numbers in order color pots => grey purple green blue orange
351783
the green thread roller has the fewest thread = this is the lowest drawer (= number 1). The green pot is the third pot, so the third number is 1..
prakta, thank you, you put me on the right trace. I finally wrote down the threads and the numbers vertically:
B7
W3
V5
O8
G1
And then it was easy to take the pot order.
GAH!
finally got it too! thx
Jacqueline: the first button to push is the last triangle at the door (14 = first and fourth button to push). It is the button up/left...
Please spoiler for blue/white button door.
and out!
got a stool with sd in kitchen
put under clock and use special key
Jacqueline, just look at the door for the kitchen, you see triangle on each of them, number them, 26 for the first window (from left to right), 5, 3 and 14. Then just go to the blue/white button door, and push them in the order 1 to 6
@Jacqueline combine pattern on sliding door that has blue/white panels with the 26/5/3/14 pattern in cupboard to tell you the sequence of triangle buttons to push
Out. I think - could have died from CO poisoning as a result of lighting hibachi indoors :-(
cannot combine Pots, colours and numbers for 5 digit clue. Please someone spoil it?
I tried tl, tr, dl, tl, dr, tr, doesn/t work.
Out too! I admit I searched everywhere for an exit door to open with my key until I remembered that box I had right from the start...
This was a wonderful game, not easy but still very logical (it's no game developer's fault when I have a dumb moment). Five stars and thank you all for your help!
@ evans, look at Seb's comment at 5:25
Duh, I switched my 3 and 5.
Jacqueline, your 3rd and 5th are wrong...
finally out, thanks all for the hints :)
thanks Prakta for great help and alls
meritneith, I totally agree, five stars...
Jacqueline, try: tl, tr, dr, tl, dl, tr.
where did you find 265314 clue?
I'm out, thanks for the help.
Roberto in right cb in view clock
lol. Thanks. Hadn't opened that door yet!
put special key in clock but where it L/R hint?
out. thanks for all the help
hmmm. Don't know where to use my stuff.
Roberto, what stuff?
corn ear, coal, matches, pan, everything...
oven --> about item --> add coal etc...
pop. Combined them!
Thanks prakta.
Very good game thanks for the hint
Wow - that was hard. Thanks for all the clues.
The game doen't want to open. I don't get more then 87%.
Excellent game, locks don't move until you have the clue so you know when it's possibile to solve. Amanzingly one lock needs 3 different clues to be solved, it makes you think at the hard work of the developer is involved.
Cars and escape games, japanese do really better.
And we're learning another interesting thing about Japanese culture...
The device that looks like a huge honey pot is a shichirin see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shichirin
that's a portable stove!
...lowest thread roller = lowest drawer...
JUST the hint I needed! Thanks prakta!
And out. This was SUPERB - thanks for another masterpiece Suzunari!
@seb,
There are no numbers on the drawers, no numbers on the pots, no numbers on the threads... Where do these numbers come from ???
Lovely game. Out with no help. Very logical , great puzzles, 5 stars for sure ~~~
:)
pdgph open all drawers then turn right :)
@ Nini xD,
Thank you !
drawers will even open & close in side view!!
How do I get the flower order?
Missy check the drapes. Order comes from cabinet's right slidding door
where is the coal? where is the key for the box in inventory?
where do I use the grid thing? This game is frustrating to me. I think I need to quit. Oh well...moving on.
Good one. Keeps you fighting for a while - but it's worth the fight.
Zoe,
you won't need the grid until (almost) the end. A small hint: don't bother with it until you find a box of matches ;)
Zoe,
which "box in the inventory" do you mean? The one you start off with? The key for it is the last thing you'll collect, so you can't do squat with that thing until the very end.
bio - thanks for trying to help. I've already closed the game and don't feel like restarting. I'm sure it's a good game, I'm just in an impatient mood today, I guess :-)
Zoe,
this game takes some patience, that's for sure. I myself was in the brink of looking for help a couple of times.
Here another nice episode of Japanese culture: the 'backfire' title does not suggest the importance of this rite at all:
http://kimikokitani.blogspot.com/2009/08/o-bon-bon-festival.html
Suzunari chose the Japanese title /迎え火 (mukaebi), which is not just another fire, but a fire made for returning spirits (yes the Japanese folks appear quite superstitious at times)
I would not have though to combine threads, pots and numbers! They did not seem connected.
